Pristine town home on Carolina Lake. First floor with enclosed 2 car garage and outside deck area. Second floor main level includes updated full kitchen, dining area, bedroom, living room and walk out deck. Third floor has two bedrooms with bathrooms and separate bunk bed area in the hallway. The master bedroom includes a walkout porch. Great views of the lake and beach front community from the second and third floor decks. Sleeps 8 comfortably. Cable TV and internet included. Green-way path surrounding lake for walking, running, biking. Only 5 minute walk to the beach and boardwalk. Great eateries and shopping just a walk away. Weekly events include free Movie night on the lake every Sunday, Fireworks every Thursday night, farmers and craft markets, nightly Carnival adjacent to the boardwalk. Some of the above activities are seasonal. **There is a renovation of the lake that is to be completed January 2026. It affects a very short portion of the greenway around the lake. It does not prevent from getting to any destination.

Great place to stay! Location was perfect for us that was clean, comfortable, and had a full kitchen with supplies to use (bring your own coffee though!). Vinny was very responsive and helpful! More my fault for not reading well enough, but the 4th bedroom with the bunk beds isn’t a room but is in a closet in the hallway which can fit a small adult but doesn’t have a lot of privacy. Don’t forget to bring your own soap/shampoo/conditioner to use because it is not provided. Would stay here again!

The balcony overlooking the lake was very serene. The rooms were clean. The walk around the lake has little signs telling different stories to read. There is a playground across the lake for kiddos to play at.

Pros: This property is nice when it comes to the location. It is very walkable to the beach and other fun things to do in the town. The park itself, which sits next to the property is very nice and has an abundance of wildlife to observe. Cons: This property has a lot of issues. The biggest issue we had was that the main door from the outside of the building leading into the main floor of the property was entirely inaccessible, which the host was fully aware of, and didn’t seem motivated to fix. Not only did this present a giant safety hazard since it was the main exit, it was also just inconvenient. The other door on this level that would lead you out of the house did also on two occasions shut and couldn’t be easily opened. Another issue we found was the linens. One of the bed linens had a hole in it. The towels were very cheap quality, 5 of them featured holes, and another one had a stain on it. The sheets seemed clean but one thing that clearly didn’t get washed was the shower curtain liners. One had several stains and the one in the master bath has various mold spots. Another issue we had with the bathrooms is the soap dispensers were filled with mostly water. The AC on the upstairs portion of the house was inoperable and the issue was not resolved in the week we were there. The beach equipment offered was very low quality and was enough for 3 people not 8. The cookware in the house was very hodgepodge and was highlighted by the fact that only two forks were available.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the main door. I was there an hour after you left and it worked fine. You never texted me about this problem during your stay. You were well informed about the a/c and I supplied back up units. Whether or not there was a micro-hole or a stain it the linens, I can assure you that they are cleaned thoroughly in between stays. The beach equipment is only there as a courtesy item and not as a necessity deemed by the contractor or myself. I have no control if previous renters broke or lost any of those itens. Normally if people are taking a beach vacation they bring beach supplies. I keep a high rating on my property from all my rental platforms all year round because people are pleased and I keep my place in good shape. You obviously fall on the opposite side of that spectrum and maybe need to examine your expectations and common reality.
