Everything was great. However, VACASA, the property manager, said that we could not pay to access the spa/fitness amenities, etc., since those are only for those vacationers who book through them. Loved the place and the beach.

Family vacation

Great location beautiful apartment but would be nice if they we have a dip cleaning. Too much pets hair allover the place. Very uncomfortable. But for pet lovers and dont mind the hairs this place has an beautiful ocean view and easy access to the beach and pool.

This is a gorgeous Penthouse and a nice place to stay when visiting Destin. The resort is amazing as well.The proximity to the beach was as described. We were able to stay in this unit with our 2 adult children and it was a good fit. Our goal was not to sit around inside, but rather be at the beach. However the balcony its a great option just to sit there and relax .This was a perfect landing pad for all of the activities we had planned for our stay. The Penthouse had what you need for a vacation stay. Will definitely check out again when in the area.

The description was a little deceptive. Wasn’t as close to the beach as suggested.

It was a two star at best. The property was much farther from the beach than suggested in the listing . The patio was very small and overly crowded.

SPECTACTULAR!!!

We have stayed at various places in Miramar Beach area for the past 6 years. This was by far the BEST PLACE we have had the opportunity to stay! In fact, I have already emailed the owners asking if we can book their place for next year's spring break. And I am already counting down the weeks. The pictures do not give the views justice! They are SPECTACULAR! They are so impressive it was hard to leave on Saturday morning. We have stayed at other places they were fine, but this place is TOP NOTCH! Loren, Thank you again for an amazing week. Looking foward to booking with you for next year's spring break.

We just returned from our...

We just returned from our second visit to your Destin condo (Summit 1110). Just like last year, we had a wonderful time. This year the water was crystal clear (no seaweed or jellyfish). We literally spent hours just relaxing and socializing in the water. We had great weather…only one day of rain. The condo is absolutely beautiful and meets all of our needs. The change you made to the bathrooms was excellent. The showers were great! The covered parking spot is a bonus that you just can’t put a price tag on. I personally enjoyed the beautiful view every morning when I opened the curtains. Stunning!... We have absolutely no complaints at all. We look forward to future visits. Thanks again for allowing us to enjoy your piece of paradise.

Beautiful view

The ocean view is stunning with an awesome breeze. Place is equipped with everything a family will need. Bedrooms are spacious. The only downside was the construction noise from the neighbor’s place. I wake up really early so it did not bother me that much but if you are a late sleeper it will definitely wake you up from your sleep. We spent all of your days on the beach, boat riding , visiting Destin harbor etc by the time we get back to the penthouse- the construction has stopped ( Noticed it starts around 9am). Overrall it was a great experience and we will be booking the penthouse again. Easy access to the beach with a private entrance. Neighbors are friendly. Love the view from the living room, Master bedroom and balcony. The pictures do not do it justice. Looks even better in person.

Great Place in a great location, super friendly host.

Loren's place is exactly as described. It looks more like her home than a rental unit. The beds were comfy. The kitchen well equipped with lots of drinkware and pots and pans, too many small appliances (two coffee makers, panini maker, steamer, blender). Too much pressure to cook instead of dine out! The fridge was clean and the automatic ice maker was very productive. The stereo system was great. The TVs in each bedroom were persnickety, with one in the 2nd bedroom stuck in "Demo Mode" with no way for this techie to reset it. No biggie though, the ever present balcony view was more interesting. Loren also lent us her beach wagon which was super helpful for the walk to the fantastic beach. The only thing that differs from the photos on her page is the outdoor furniture on the patio is different; a bit less comfy but still fine nonetheless, kinda a first world problem. The view was better than I expected. The sea seems closer in real life. The dedicated covered parking space was nice as the place got busier of memorial day weekend. The racquet club was very nice and worth the daily fee. The gym was spotless and well equipped. We played racquetball every day. They weren't too keen on playing pickle ball on their tennis courts but would allow it. The pickle ball courts you see from Loren's balcony are NOT part of The Summit so you are not allowed on them. That was a disappointment, so just giving you a heads up to all you picklers out there. The Tops'l location is ideal in Destin. A few minutes to grocery shopping and food. Heading downtown was not too bad either. The Miramar beach was easily swimmable and calm enough to paddleboard on many of the 5 days we were there. Thank you Loren for enabling a great trip for each of our family members aged 15-78.

Beautiful condo!!

As frequent Florida vacationers, my husband and I rented this condo for a week with our three children, 17, 14 and 10. Was perfect for us. Condo was beautiful just as the pictures show. Beautiful views with a short walk to the beach. We also enjoyed the view from the balcony of the fireworks on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Loren was great to work with and all the staff at the resort were friendly and accommodating.

Piece of paradise

This was a dream come true for my dear mother . The accommodations were excellent , the owner Loren very attentive and gracious about our vacation . My mom enjoyed everyday the wonderful Gulf views from the large beautiful decorated terrace. The kitchen has every tool desired for cooking . The two full beds in second bedroom were a wonderful welcomed bedding arrangement , instead of the small twin beds usually in every second bedroom condo . Very large screen tv in living room was a delight for my husband . The rates during October are wonderful . I highly recommend this beautiful classy penthouse . Loren was also very prompt to reply to any questions and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and things to do near this wonderful resort .Topsl.

Should have stayed home and saved the money

Unfortunately, we should have skipped this vacation and just stayed home. Loren was easy to work with to book the resort, but the day prior to leaving, I visited the VRBO site and it should our condo rented on different days (wed-wed) instead of Sun - Sat. Tried to contact her by phone and text to confirm our reservation before the 7 hour trip. I never received a response. We ended up being ok though. First impression of the condo was that it was beautifully decorated with plenty of room for me and my two teenage boys. There were TV's in all rooms and any kitchen tool you could possibly think of. Then after 2 nights of sleep, both boys said that their back hurt and they could no longer sleep in those beds. My son said the springs were popping up in his back. I went and layed in the bed for 10 minutes to confirm this was true. They spent the remainder of the days sleeping on the couches. So, unfortunately, my 2 BR condo turned into a 1 BR. There is also an issue with the water going from warm to scalding hot in a matter of seconds. My son and I found out the hard way. There are 3 remotes for the tv's, but only one has instructions. Good luck if you mess it up after 7pm because the staff leaves at that time and is only available for emergencies. The Tops'l resort......These things except for the beds, were relatively minor compared to the constant construction going on in the unit next door every day. It sounded like someone drilling and sawing through our wall. Tops'l said they could do nothing about it because it was a privately owned unit. We went to the main pool to get away from the noise where we found they were jack hammering to try to extend the patio area. Unfortunately, the purple flag was flying at the beach all week and covered in jellyfish. Just pass on the delivery or restaurants at the resort....they were either to busy to take your call or closed for a private event. I will say though that the staff itself was friendly, the gym was adequate for working out, and it was easy to just charge services or drinks to your room. This good be a good place to visit if the beds were replaced and there wasn't any construction going on. This just didn't work out for us!

Tops'l is whole experience for the family! secure,all amenities you and your family could wish for.East side of property is the Nature Preserve, 12 miles of unspoiled beaches. No high rises.
Of course it comes very nice during the peak season in Destin, because our private beaches
are not crowded. West side of Property, Sandestin and the Hilton Hotel, if you want to walk to their Sunday Buffet or magnificen beach bar.

What makes this property unique

Every year after the busy season we always update, replace and add new things to our condo to keep it like new. We just renovated the two bathrooms with travertine floors, master bathroom toilet bidet, granite, travertine walls, and glass enclosures. 55" Flat screen TV in Living Room, 50" Master Suite, 42"' Second Bedroom. Ice cream machine for those summer days.
We are a PENTHOUSE EXPERIENCE, private assigned parking for this condo. A Mediterranean affair is waiting for you.
