L'Overlook at Harvest Moon Cottages est situé au sommet d'une colline et ressemble à une cabane dans les arbres, tandis que vous profitez d'une vue plongeante sur la forêt de pruches environnante. Franchissez les portes françaises et profitez de la grande salle au plafond cathédrale avec une cuisine entièrement équipée avec des appareils en acier inoxydable et un poêle en céramique, une grande table à manger ainsi qu'un bar supplémentaire et des sièges de table `` pub '', et bien sûr des canapés en cuir confortables devant votre foyer au gaz et votre téléviseur (profitez de DirectTv et de dvds, ou écoutez votre choix de musique sur des haut-parleurs surround). Profitez du WiFi limité ... parfait pour rester en contact avec le travail ou les réseaux sociaux, pas assez fort pour Netflix ... mais bon, vous n'êtes pas là pour la télévision de toute façon .....

L'Overlook dispose de trois chambres privées; un roi (niveau supérieur), une reine et un avec une reine et un jumeau (tous deux de niveau inférieur). Tous les draps sont inclus. Deux salles de bain complètes sont stockées avec des serviettes moelleuses, un sèche-cheveux, de petits savons de bain et du savon doux. La salle de bain en bas dispose d'un combo laveuse / sécheuse superposées pour votre commodité. La salle familiale au niveau inférieur dispose d'une table et de chaises de jeu, ainsi que de baby-foot et d'une télévision supplémentaire pour les films ou les jeux. À l'extérieur, profitez de votre terrasse enveloppante dans la cime des arbres tout en grillant sur le gril à gaz Weber ou en trempant dans le bain à remous couvert. Smores, n'importe qui ??? Vous avez aussi un foyer entouré de chaises adirondacks. Les clients séjournant dans le niveau inférieur de débrayage apprécieront de glisser à l'extérieur pour des moments calmes, l'observation de la faune ou un bonnet de nuit sur leur terrasse privée.

Family/Friends 1st trip to Hocking Hills

Picture's don't do justice...This place is beautiful with a lot to see and do. This group is not big into hiking so a 3 day trip was more than perfect for us. Very nice cottage lots of room ,very peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful Stay

Our first time to Hocking Hills. We were close to everything while still feeling secluded. We loved Lake Logan. The cabin was wonderful. We definitely will be back!

Hocking Hills

The location of the cabin is great. Secluded with woods all around. Cabin itself was cozy. Fireplace was a nice plus. Hot tub setup was good. Beds were comfortable but not updated. Appliances generally worked, but most of them could use an update.

Great Hocking Hills getaway

We wanted something on the edge of Appalachia that would both be deep in the woods and also have the comforts of home. We spent a lot of time downstairs lounging as a family. Our only complaints were that the upstairs TV was not registered (and so we couldn't sign into any apps) and the internet was a touch slower than we'd like (20mb/s). I had to work some days from here, and between everyone else using it and video calls it struggled. Not sure how much can be done about, but we got by. If you're looking for a comfy, CLEAN, well kept escape, choose this place!

My experience

The property is in a great location, although not clearly identified from the road (just the number). Not as clean as it could have been for the price I paid. The hot tub only had half of the jets working (I notified the manager). There are no lights on the hot tub deck and it was hard to see the buttons without a flashlight. We killed multiple large spiders, crickets, and other unknown bugs in the house. Granted, it is located in the woods but still should not have been that many bugs in a 3 day weekend (just my opinion). A thorough cleaning and spraying might eliminate that problem. We could not use the downstairs shower due to all the water that leaked on the floor after the first shower. Everyone showered in the first floor bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked, especially if you plan to cook.

Perfect cabin

This cabin is great for a family with teenagers. Lots of hiking around cabin & separate basement area for sleeping & showering. Amazed at "full" kitchen set up. Did not expect ice cube trays & multiple baking pans. Hot tub is a bonus after hiking at state parks.

Nice cottage in the woods.

Cottage is just as described in listing. Everything was clean and comfortable. The hot tub water was murky so we didn’t use it. We enjoyed our stay and closeness to all the Hocking Hills trails.

Sister weekend at Harvest Moon Cottages

Myself and 4 of my sisters had a sister's get away relaxing weekend in Hocking Hills area. This cabin was perfect for us. The kitchen was well stocked with needs for any cooking we did. Close to places we wanted to go and hike. We all felt the Cabin was clean and beds were good. Hot tub worked well, and seemed clean. We also enjoyed getting in a few games of foosball! We did notice several inch worms in the basement area... which we took care of, but otherwise great place !

Great getaway!

Wonderful property, close to Ash Caves and Cedar Falls. Quiet, enough to do even when raining for energetic kids! The set up of the house is wonderful for anyone with kids who may need to unwind and play games.

Fantastic Cabin Getaway

We had a short stay of 3-nights last week and had a fantastic time! The cabin was in a great location, it was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was cozy and felt like home away from home. We enjoyed hiking, fishing, and hanging out in the hot tub or roasting marshmallows in the evenings. We would love to return again soon! Better than we could imagine.

Comms from Miss Anita were amazing, cabin was BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, and SPACIOUS! Had my 2 kids, wife, and in laws. More than enough room but very cozy. The location was very secluded which was PERFECT. Old mans cave and multiple parks were about 5-10 minutes away. We enjoyed a snow filled 3 days of sledding, hiking constantly, and sitting by the fire. 3 coldest days of the year and we stayed incredibly warm inside too. I have no clue how this cabin was so well insulated. We had to turn down the gas fireplace eventually! Bottom line, my family needed some downtime from my high stress job and we ALL needed to get back into the woods. We had never rented a place in hocking before finding “The Overlook” and have already booked a visit for next year. Anita was so cool the whole time answering texts and questions. This place is seriously good to go and you owe it to yourself to book now.

Wonderful Get-away

Beautiful cottage with a cozy fireplace, hot tub, and game room. The beds were comfortable and the whole place was very clean. The location is perfect - close to many hikes and very private. It needs a tiny bit of TLC but overall wonderful - we would definitely go back.

Beautiful Property!

The cabin was amazing and had every amenity needed. Very secluded and surrounded by woods. Extremely homey and comfortable. Loved having a glass of wine in the hot tub while looking into woods. Very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to HH. A++++ experience!

Great getaway!

We loved our time at this cabin! So close to all the trails! Great fireplace, hot tub, and grill! Also be sure to read the guest book for a fun scavenger hunt! Our only complaint would be all the spiders in the basement...otherwise very clean house especially in covid times!

Sweet spot

We decided to reschedule our family Disney vacation and stay in Ohio this year. The Overlook has everything we needed in a trip to Hocking Hills. Fishing, close hiking, fire pit, hot tub, game room, and plenty of space for our two families. We cooked every meal and enjoyed the quiet of the property. The WiFi was great and we had no cell reception (much needed). We found the cabin cozy and really great considering the area (bugs, well water, dampness). Y’all it’s a cabin! There are smells and critters- it’s not a hotel. That being said it was very clean and well stocked with the essentials. We loved washing a few loads of laundry before we left and having two bathrooms. Don’t forget to bring some hotdogs for the catfish down in the pond! If you want to visit the neighboring nature preserve request permission 2 weeks before your stay. However, old mans cave, the rock house, conkles hallow and other great hiking spots are all so close. There is also a little store a few miles up the road if you need anything. We will definitely stay here again!

After growing up in Southeastern Ohio, attending college and meeting in Columbus, we built our business and raised our kids right here. We love travelling, but hocking hills has our heart. We look forward to sharing our property with you.
