About this property
Kentucky Lake House on Jonathan Creek
Boasting unbelievable views, this large house allows for peace and quiet not only inside but also on its wooded grounds. Located in the great area of Jonathan Creek(one of the more popular fishing and boating areas on Kentucky Lake), the house comes with a single slip covered dock with an attached sun deck, which can be accessed from the rear of the home down a newly groomed gravel path. House is less than 2 blocks away from a public boat launch with places to rent boats/jet skis/golf carts nearby, if needed. The house includes two living areas on separate levels with a walkout to a concrete patio and an outdoor fire pit on the lower level. A recreation room can also be found in the lower level of the home. In addition, there is a two car attached garage as well as ample parking on a large U-shaped driveway for all guests.

Benton is home to this vacation home. Bill Monroe's Home Place and The Homeplace are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Kentucky Shores Family Fun Center and Twin Lakes Antique Mall. Maggie's Jungle Golf & Jungle Run and Patti's Settlement 1880's are also worth visiting.
The host was great quick to respond with any questions we had, a great place to stay was in for a fishing tournament had 5 boats and trucks and plenty of room.
Huge home with lots of space for a large family to spread out. Two levels with bedrooms and bathrooms on both levels was great. Two living areas with things to do on each level. Everything we needed in the kitchen and a spacious dining room. Good parking. Superb communication with the host. Great location for adventuring.
We had our family Christmas here and it was perfect for our family of 16! Our oldest is 85 and our youngest is 6 and we have all ages in between. Everyone had a blast. We are already hoping to do a summer get together here. The host is quick to respond and very accommodating. I highly recommend if you have a large group. The house is a bit dated but who cares if there is room for all to have a great time? The lake is beautiful and the fire pit is lots of fun.
Our stay was great and the location was ready and as advertised. We stayed at this same location last year and it was great then also. This property owner is very responsive and on top of things.
Thanks again.
This is the second year we've rented this house for our chainsaw carving event at Ken Lake. It was perfect for our group and close to the carving event. It was clean and comfortable for our big group. Thank you again!.
We loved the house. Location on the lake was great. There is a walk to get to the lake. We managed ok. Could of used a wagon/cart to haul things down. Over all we had a great vacation!!
The house is very spacious, very close to the shore, and includes a very nice boat dock with swimming platform (the kids loved jumping into the water). Rob the owner was prompt answering questions and easy to reach. The AC was having an issue cooling one day so the owner had one of the neighbors bring us fans and had an AC technician out promptly the following morning. Highly recommend staying here for a family vacation.
My family loved the house. I was disappointed with the description of the dock. Not what I expected or what was described. House had a musty smell, which I adjusted to, by the time we left. Kitchen cabinet exteriors needed a deep cleaning.
Nice mid modern house with plenty of room ,there is a little walk to dock down hill . Basement stayed very cool while upstairs bedrooms were hard to cool. There was plenty of room for food with 2 refrigerators and a deep freezer. . There was a nice wrap around deck
that we utilized quite often.
We e a group of 12, most of which were chainsaw carvers coming to Aurora for a competition. The house was perfect for our group. Big enough to spread out and many places to gather. The carpets were stained, but overall cleanliness of bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Everyone slept comfortably and had a wonderful time. We didn't get a chance to explore the boat dock due to our carving schedule, but I'm sure it is great. Thank you for opening your home to us all.
We picked a weekend with record rain fall. The lake was dropping to get ready for the heavy rain so fishing was tough. Then the rain started falling and falling and falling. The best think was the house. Perfect for a fishing trip that turned into a card playing weekend. This house has so much room and a perfect storm shelter in the basement if needed. Great house and we plan on returning next year, hopefully without record rain fall. Thanks for sharing your house with us!
