Great half-week stay at this house right on the water. If you’re looking to fish the Delaware, this is a perfect spot. Communication with the host was excellent and all needs were addressed immediately. Great cozy home, would go back again!

Been meaning to write this review for a while now since our last stay there was this past August. This was our second time renting from Rosie and Joe. This gem of a place is so incredibly special to our family and we've enjoyed some really wonderful times here. It's got a sort of rustic charm but with all modern conveniences. It's very comfortable and peaceful and it sits on a lovely piece of property right on the Delaware River. One of our favorite things to do is enjoy our morning coffee outside on the deck overlooking the River and watching the wildlife and the occasional rafts go by. It's magical. We sleep like babies here. Rosie and Joe are such generous and gracious hosts. They are responsive and caring and put a lot of love and care into making sure their guests feel welcomed and comfortable. It's part of the magic. We also love the area (it's "God's Country", we always say) and we can't wait to return!!! Thank you, Rosie and Joe, for your incredible hospitality and helping us make some incredible summer memories that we'll cherish for life. WE APPRECIATE YOU!!!!

The rental had everything we expected and then some, including a pet/baby gate at the bottom of the stairs to keep our dogs from roaming upstairs and a gate on the deck with make shift garden fencing that worked perfectly! Those porch rockers were a dream! The weather was not in our favor most of the week, but we made the most of our restful time. The owner was very helpful - he checked in on us during a terrible storm which turned out to be a tornado that touched down in Hancock! We hope to return when we can enjoy the river more. Thanks for your hospitality!

Easy living at Joe's cottage. Three generations of our family had a great time, no small thanks to how well the place was outfitted, anticipating all of our needs.Everything that we could need was available. The big, shady deck overlooking the river provided ample space for all of the activities and "inactivities" that we love.A dip in the river kept us cool for hours. Just 2 hours from home for us felt like we were a world away.Peaceful and serene and comfortable for all.Just what we needed.

Off the beaten path. Quit quaint home. Fire place is a plus with plenty of sized wood cut. Eagles and ducks pit on a nature show in the morning. Comfortable beds and large amount of towels and toiletries.

This was our 4th? 5th? time staying at Joe's place, at this point we just pretend its our second home. A great place to land in any season, we love it, our dogs love it, and a great launching point for many great little towns in the area. This trip it was absolutely freezing and the house was warm and cozy with plenty of firewood and a well appointed kitchen so we could just hang out. Can't wait for our next visit!
