Early April at Riviera

Stunning views of the mountain and sea. Bernard and Yung are the best hosts we have had with VRBO. Great location for us to do day trips. Good hiking either from house or short drive. Hosts gave us great restaurant recommendations - but you definitely need a car

Beautiful view in the heart of the Azure Coast

The view and the pool are even better than the pictures. Eze is central to several nearby cities. Great stay and great hosts. They were very responsive and friendly.

Wonderful relaxing stay!

The property is in a beautiful location, with amazing views and an exceptional infinity pool. Bernard and Yung were so welcoming, kind and helpful. They invited us for drinks and nibbles to introduce us to the couple staying in the bungalow which was a lovely gesture! The pool was amazing and one of the nicest I have ever been in. The apartment is underneath the main house but is still very private and has 2 private terrace areas with amazing views where we enjoyed sitting and eating and looking out across the bay. The apartment has everything you need for your stay. There were some mosquitoes due to the lush vegetation so we took repellant and citronella burners which helped, but you have to expect this with such beautiful and exotic surroundings. We had a wonderful relaxing stay and would definitely return. Our thanks to Bernard and Yung for making our stay so enjoyable.

We travelled 5000 miles to the property and had to leave within 10 minutes due it being infested with mosquitos getting bitten 8 time is 5 minutes and we were all wearing mosquito repellent. The owners lied to us stating that a refund would be available in the Vrbo app, this lie resulted us in us spending a night in a car with a 9 year old. The listing is so inaccurate its unreal, the two dingy rooms are not by the pool like pictures make out, they are down a sharp stair incline under the owner's house who has 24hr direct access from his house and pool is not private to the booking - its open to other guests making it public. The dead insects in the pool suggest that the pH is incorrect and should be better regulated as public pool - very dangerous especially for young children. New rules were sprung on us such as no meat allowed to be cooked on the tiny cooker due to smells - this is not listed in the house rules provided before travelling and the walk ways have 3 cm ants crawling over the place with dogs also loose on the property. Travel to the property is almost impossible with the smallest of roads. All in all the owners caused us so much grief and then stated we insulted them by saying it was inhumane to allow an 9 year old to sleep in a car. The place was and the owners attitude were disgusting, avoid this inaccurate listed property.

Gesamteindruck war perfekt. Die Lage und der Ausblick sind unübertrefflich. Die Räumlichkeiten und das Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt und hat seinen persönlichen französischen Charme. So, wie es sein soll. Der Pool war atemberaubend und sehr gepflegt. Ich würde die Unterkunft immer wieder buchen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und herzlich und jederzeit bei Fragen erreichbar. Die Räumlichkeiten liegen sehr privat. Es war einfach toll.

Die Aussicht ist wirklich wunderschön! Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist allerdings sehr einfach (Küche, Mobiliar, Gartenmöbel ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen, hier wird wohl nichts investiert), was an sich nicht schlimm wäre aber dafür finde ich den Preis deutlich zu hoch. Zudem muss man jedes mal den Bereich und die Terrasse der Eigentümer überqueren (die man aber nicht benutzen darf), um an den Pool zu kommen. Die Gastgeber sind nett. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto.

Wunderschöner Ort

Wir haben ein paar schöne Tage bei Bernard und Yung verbracht. Sie waren beide sehr freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Appartement ist für drei Personen ausreichend. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Der Pool und der Ausblick sind der Wahnsinn. Dafür lohnt sich der tägliche Aufstieg) Auto ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert)

La route pour accéder a la maison n'est pas super évidente ...Mais une fois arrivé, on ne veut plus repartir ! Vue hallucinante , piscine a débordement vue mer incroyable et propriétaires absolument charmants ! A deux pas de l'Italie, 10 mn de Monaco ou de Nice, la Riviera dans toute sa splendeur !!!

Pour notre première expérience en maison de vacances, nous n´aurions pas pu tomber mieux. Notre séjour était tout simplement parfait! De l'accueil chaleureux à la vue époustouflante depuis la piscine, nous avons été comblés. Bernard et Yung ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour des plus agréables avec leurs précieux conseils et leur générosité. Depuis la maison, il est même possible de faire de belles randonnées.

Magnifique séjour

L’appartement est très bien, fonctionnel et très bien équipé, il bénéficie de 2 terrasses, ce qui est très agréable pour s’adapter en fonction de l’ensoleillement. Le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques, la vue est grandiose ! Merci Yung et Bernard pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse tout au long du séjour ! Nous avons passé les vacances les plus reposantes possibles avec notre bébé :) A bientôt !

Amazing view

We spend one week with our teenagedaughter in Yung and Bernards villa. We had a varm welcome by the owners. They invited us for a drink so we could meet the couple who stayed in the bungalow and the gave us all tips and recommendations for the area. So freindly and nice hosts. The pool where excellent and the view was stunning. A villa we would like to visit again. Its a good idea to have some mosquitospray. There are some mosquitos during the night.

Breathtaking views! Incroyable vues! I believe I found paradise on earth, Le Paradis sur terre.

Wir haben wunderschöne zehn Tage bei Familie Barthelmebs verbracht und können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen. Der Pool ist perfekt und könnte besser nicht sein, der Ausblick ist atemberaubend. Die Wohnung entspricht dem Inserat, die Lage ist perfekt, um die Umgebung zu erkunden und die Vermieter haben uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt an diesem tollen Ort und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!

Toller Ausblick

Der Ausblick vom Pool ist atemberaubend. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett. Man wohnt in der kleinen Souterrainwohnung im Haus der Gastgeber. Es fühlt sich an wie der Besuch bei den lieben Verwandten, die vor 20 Jahren die kleine Wohnung für ihre Gäste eingerichtet haben, und weniger wie in einer typischen Ferienwohnung. Da das Grundstück oben am Berg liegt, braucht man ein Auto, um zu Restaurants oder Geschäften zu gelangen. Beim nächsten Mal würden wir eher den Pavillon nehmen.

Un endroit magnifique et des hôtes adorables

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Èze dans cette charmante propriété : un jardin très beau et riche en espèces, une piscine avec une vue sublime sur la baie et les bateaux. Avec notre bébé c'était parfait pour du repos dans un environnement calme et apaisant. La localisation est idéale pour des visites sur les ports avoisinants : en 10 à 20 min seulement de trajet on peut faire de très belles découvertes, plages et promenades. Nos hôtes nous ont très bien reçus, ils sont vraiment adorables. Ils nous ont donné de nombreux conseils très utiles (restaurants, stationnement, visites etc...), et fait preuve d'une grande gentillesse. Nous avons fort apprécié les moments passés ensemble, et leur prévenance. Mille mercis pour ces beaux souvenirs sur la côte d'Azur !
