It's perfect for a family, parents get to stay upstairs, kids downstairs with their own rec room w/Smart TV, OR groups visiting this wonderful city. It's a bright open floor plan with living room, dining room, kitchen, master bed/bath, and powder room on main floor all with hardwood floors. The lower level features a huge family room with wet bar, game table, 2 bedrooms (2 twins/1 Queen) a full bath and murphy bed for a little extra sleeping room when needed. There's a gas burning fireplace on main level and on the lower level. Open eat-in kitchen with premium appliances, granite countertops and breakfast bar. The master bedroom features a king size bed, en suite bath with separate shower w body sprays jacuzzi tub. In unit washer/dryer. It also has 2 private outdoor spaces, deck off master, and garden terrace off family room. Secured free parking and plenty of street parking. Location, location, location! It's 2 blocks to the Blue Line/Division stop and only steps to the 56 bus at Milwaukee Ave. Walk to Division St shops, restaurants and bars. 1 mile to popular Fulton Market restaurants , 2 miles to loop, Millenium Park, and Michigan Ave, 3 miles to Wrigley Field.

We had such a wonderful stay as a group. The home was incredibly clean when we arrived, and Anne was extremely communicative and helpful when we needed an earlier check-in time. The home had everything a group would need (toiletries, cookware, towels, extra blankets and pillows) and we had plenty of space/quiet. The neighborhood is safe and walkable to everything you could want, including the blue line to commute downtown. We were so pleased with our stay!

Everything was wonderful, well laid out, great thoughtful touches throughout that made the stay easy and comfortable. We traveled as a family of 4 visiting the 5 th family member who is local. It was very easy to visit and enjoy family time. The house is well stocked with spices, pots and pans for easy meals, plenty of food storage. Nice touch to have personal items like shampoo, soaps and hand cream . Very cozy with a great gathering space and throw blankets . The host Anne, was very attentive with any communication . The location was very easy near the bus and Blue line. Would absolutely stay again.

Fantastic location, couple of blocks to the Forrest Park/Ohare line. Lots of room to spread out. Very nice amenities and host was very responsive to questions. Would not hesitate to stay again! One thing to be aware of (and the host was very open about)- the off street parking is very small so anything bigger than a sedan would not fit. We were able to park on the street but spots go fast! Host provided stickers for guest use.

This place was amazing. We go on a annual girl's weekend (group of 5 40's aged women). We have been all over the US and this may have been my favorite place. Anne was great and very responsive. Her home felt like a home, not some sterile box. It was clean and had great amenities. The coffee maker was great. The seating areas were very comfortable. The location as well was great, we walked to most meals. I can't recommend this place enough!

Great Home!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is beautiful and the location is great. The house had everything we needed and more. Most don’t offer a variety of toiletries, nice clean towels and extra sheets and blankets; but this place has so much! It has everything you need in a kitchen and also had many fun games. By far one of the best vacation home rentals we have stayed in (and we have stayed in many)! We absolutely will rent here again.

One word - Amazing! The property was spacious, clean and inviting. Anne was very responsive and you can tell she put a lot of thought into making this place feel less like a rental and more like a home. Highly recommend this beautiful brownstone for your next trip to the city. The owner was accessible and gracious, and the accommodations were “pinch me” lovely. Multiple sitting areas provided just the perfect spaces to gather (or get away from) others. Felt safe, warm and comfortable. What more could you ask for?! I love my neighborhood and I think you will too. Hip Wicker Park has been a residential enclave since Chicago was incorporated as a city in 1837. North Milwaukee Avenue and Division Street are known for its bustling nightlife, dining and entertainment venues, and trendy music clubs. North Damen Avenue draws hip crowds with its quirky shops, minimalist cafes, specialty grocery stores and cool fashion boutiques. It's also less than a mile from hot new West Loop neighborhood, 2 miles to Michigan Ave, under 4 to Wrigley Field-all accessible by public transportation.
