Studio 1 - Butty was refurbished including new kitchenette and shower room. The studio been designed in James' Place unique quirky style so you can sit back and soak up the atmosphere with the whole family as we are delighted to welcome children..

The sleeping accommodation consists of a separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed and 2 sofa beds in the living area. If 2 guests wish a twin set up this is a small additional charge for this to cover the cost of the additional linen. The shower room is new too, with soft towels, toilet roll and complimentary toiletries to save you the fuss of bringing with you. There is a flat screen Internet TV in the living room and bedroom plus free wifi through out the studio.

Outside there is a small terrace with a hot tub plus we are dog friendly. Bith incur a small fee

The new kitchenette has a comfortable place to eat, all the kitchenware needed for home cooking or alternatively the local area has restaurants and take aways to suit everyone's taste.

The Studio is on the ground floor and boasts the benefit of a private terrace that is reached from French doors in the double bedroom. This gives you an outdoor space to eat outside and enjoy the warm weather.
We are dog friendly in this studio by prior arrangement. There is a small charge for this service. We ask that you do not allow your canine friend onto the furniture.

You are also able to store your bikes in the studio providing they are clean.
James' Place @Dowlais offers 7 individually and creatively styled self-catering studios.

They are ideally placed for exploring the Brecon Becons, climbing Pen-Y-Fan or visiting Bike Park Wales amongst many of the other great activities in the area or for working away from home.

They are only a 5mins drive from the town centre and there is a bus stop right outside which can take you to the main train and bus station.

Each studio has a separate but en-suite Kitchenette with all the essentials plus en-suite Shower-Room.
We also provide a few surprising luxuries with complimentary toiletries, a pint of milk and freshly baked home-made welsh cakes to welcome you to Wales.

Dogs are allowed on request and there is a small charge per dog per stay.

There is also the facility to store bikes. They can be locked in the main hallway if you bring your own padlock and chain. Alternatively we are happy for you to store your bikes in your studio providing they are clean.
