Villa Bacalao - A Murcia Holiday Rentals Property

This amazing villa is on the largest plot in the luxury gated resort of La Torre Golf, and benefits from a large 8x4m HEATED swimming pool, huge patio with sun from 11am until sunset , 4 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large modernised kitchen with breakfast bar, a very large terrace with dining table and chairs for 8, adjustable glazing and a stunning covered bar and outdoor kitchen BBQ area with beer fridge, stove, huge BBQ, sink, storage and draught beer! In the winter months this area is heated with UV lamps.



There is also a pool table, 8 sun loungers and a day bed as well as a putting green / mini golf.



As well as the private heated pool, you have access to 17 communal pools on La Torre, tennis courts, Padel courts and various games and facilities around the resort for owners and guests.



This villa is ideally situated on the resort, just 3 minutes walk to the supermarket, 5 minutes to bars and restaurants and 10 minutes to the gold club. There is 24 hour security and is very safe for families with children.



La Torre is 20 minutes drive from Murcia City, Ca



Cartagena City, The Mediterranean sea and the Mar Menor.



Pool heating is an additional option.

Very modern, well equipped, spacious Villa with everything you could possibly need including a large flat screen tv and fast a internet. We particularly loved the pool area. The bbq area is like and outdoor pub and even has heaters to combat any evening chill. It was a fabulous week and we would love to stay here again.

The Villa was amazing - wonderful outdoor space for both adults and children and modern and spacious living indoors Communication, the pool man didn’t know we were arriving so pool hadn’t been cleaned. Missing pool table balls, which took till our final day to get resolved, so we couldn’t use this.

2nd Visit to this Villa

Great Villa. Plenty of outside space. Close to Spar Supermarket and La Torre Restaurants. Very Modern interior. The outside kitchen area is a a Fantastic use of space. New Putting Green was so much fun along with the pool table. 2nd visit to this Villa Some small repairs needed to some outside floor tiles. Electronic door entry was good once we had the knack to operate it. TV was a nightmare to use. No instructions Lucky I had my fire stick. But overall a Fantastic Villa & Stay.

Just want to say thanks once again to Marcus and his team at Murcia Holiday rentals for another fab holiday. My golf friends and I have been staying on La torre since 2008 so you can imagine we have stayed in numerous villas over the years, but we stumbled across Marcus and his company around 2014 and have never looked back. From the booking process to checking in to the way you are looked after it is just a different league to anything else I’ve come across elsewhere. The Villa itself is special, furnished to a higher standard than you will find anywhere on la torre without question with a wonderful outdoor bar, great touch. The open plan kitchen living area was also really nice compared to the other villas we have come across on site, this added to the banter at breakfast between the lads. We have already booked for next year and will no doubt be back after that so thanks again guys. Specials thanks to Georgia who was really helpful throughout As a golfer who has to rent a large vehicle every year, if this villa owned a vehicle then we’d happily payed extra for its use

Marcus was extremely helpful with our holiday went above and beyond. Would recommend Marcus and his team and 💯 this property was stunning everything you could possibly need and more. Plenty of choice off where to dine and have some drinks. Beautiful doubletree Hilton hotel in the complex just a 4 min walk. Fantastic stay

Let’s begin with an overall fair evaluation. Would I stay at this property again? Yes, however I feel the price is much higher than it should be for the condition of the villa. Positives: it’s in a quiet location on La Torre of which the grounds of the resort are maintained impeccably. There is a shop closeby and the ‘town centre’ is in easy walking distance. The security on site is fantastic and even when some Spanish boys were stopped as they were supposedly coming to our villa (didn’t know them so can only assume it was an error), security were at our door querying this with us. The villa has plenty of facilities to keep families entertained. We were joined by our 16YO son and his friend who were very happy with the choice of either pool, bar, pool table or large TV screen in the lounge. Oh and of course wi-fi as well! It was a spacious villa (but then that’s one of the reasons we chose it) and gave us and the boys the space they needed without feeling on top of each other. The bedrooms were air conditioned and were clean and comfortable. Negatives: Upon arrival there were quite a few issues with the cleanliness of the areas (excluding the bedrooms and bathrooms that were very clean). I won’t go into detail as they were dealt with promptly by the property manager. However on top of that the pool table was mouldy and in poor condition and the cues didn’t have tips so couldn’t be used. Again this was dealt with and after a few days into our stay (we arrived Sunday and it was sorted on the Wednesday) it was completely refurbished and cues repaired. The pool on arrival hadn’t been cleaned (we were told we’d have to wait until Tuesday) and there was lots of silt at the base. Yes it was useable but not the standard we’ve come to expect when staying at other villas on the resort in previous years. This villa is also full of gadgets, which is great if you love a gadget but not so great if 1) you don’t know how to use them (no instructions) or 2) there are so many remote controls that you require lots of batteries. Unfortunately we had to go and buy some ourselves in order to get the a/c units working. However the property manager did turn up with some the following day. The shower door in the bathroom wouldn’t close so my husband repaired that but not really what you want to be doing when you’re on holiday and you’ve paid a significant amount to stay somewhere. All in all we had an OK stay but it was tainted by the issues we had on arrival.

Vivienda de lujo muy confortable.

La zona, la casa muy confortable. Dormimos como reyes, muy bien equipada. Estuvimos superbien. Nos costo un poco el tema de la demoteca para AC y extractor. Las instrucciones no eran muy claras para nosotros un tanto analogicos. Por lo demas, todo perfecto, muy muy agusto. La casa tenia bastante polvo a mi parecer. Habia unos bañadores en la zona de la piscina olvidados. Los baños y habitaciones estaban super limpios eso si, pero a lo mejor cuidar mas el tema del polvo, se que es una zona donde hay mucho polvo pero en el interior se podria mejorar.
