Why Loren chose Garden Valley
My name is Loren and I grew up In a small town in Huff, North Dakota. I made Idaho my Second home 20 plus years ago. I bought this home because my family and I enjoy Hunting , Fishing , snowmobiling and the many other things that the mountain air has to offer. Anyone and everyone who has been or has stayed at this property have just loved it. It has that log-cabin feel away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is quiet and private with a lot of wildlife that frequents the property..even the neighbors harmless pot bellied pig at times. Give this property a try you are sure to love it! I am always here to answer any questions, wants or needs to make your stay even more enjoyable than you ever expected.

Beautiful mountain retreat
Beautiful mountain retreat perfect for a large group. Private drive to the home is a bit tricky to find. A sign with the house number & an arrow at the turn would be helpful. Everyone greatly enjoyed their stay. 🤠
Thank you so much for the review. We are working on getting a sign for the turn to the property. We appreciate your feedback
Get get away! We loved it.
Very true to the other reviews. Quiet, beautiful location. Close to town and river. Very much a cabin feeling inside and out. Our kids and their families loved it. We certainly would go back.
Thank you Wade for the review! We really hope to see your family rent with us in the future!
Great Location Close to Crouch
This spacious cabin is nestled in a beautiful location close to Crouch. An excellent cabin for larger groups. The master shower in the basement was a pleasant surprise...pretty much a human car wash!
The only thing that would make this place better would be a functional hot tub.
Don’t hesitate to book this cabin!
Love this review! We have been told the shower is a highlight but have never heard "human carwash" 😁. We appreciate you boking this cabin and hope to see you rent our cabin in the future.
Fantastic location, beautiful cabin. Loved our stay.
Thank you for choosing our cabin for your stay!
An awesome mountain Cabin
This is a large, clean, well equipped mountain cabin. It is huge! The woodwork is beautiful, and the beds are comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed...beautiful views from the two porches and the balcony. We hope to come back. PS - you have to try the shower in the lower level - we called it the "power wash." It was great!
Thank you so much for the wonderful review. WE hope you come back and stay again!
Lots of room, easy drive to town
We really enjoyed our time at this cabin. Booking was easy and communication with our host was good. The home was much larger than we thought and we enjoyed the space. The home has a rustic decor and fits well within its surroundings. The basement has two bedrooms and a really large shower/bathroom, but we found it to be really cold down there and we couldn't get the gas pilot light to stay lit on the gas heater so those who didn't mind cold floors and cold air were assigned to those bedrooms. Beds were all really comfortable throughout the cabin. Plenty of hot water for our group of 7 to shower and get ready in the morning. Cleanliness of the cabin was OK... meaning it wasn't really dirty but it just didn't feel really clean. For example, lots of bugs and spider webs between the windows and blinds... and mold in some of the showers. Again, it's not bad, maybe even somewhat expected for a cabin in the woods, but parts of the cabin are starting to feel their age and it's just hard to keep those areas feeling like they're super clean. We were able to buzz to the towns of Crouch, Garden Valley and Banks really quickly - ziplinging and whitewater rafting with Cascade Raft Company was excellent. It was also especially nice to be so close to Starlight Mountain Theater where we enjoyed a play called Newsies. Overall good experience and we'd rebook this cabin again unless we wanted to spend a little more to book someplace right on the river or right in town.
Thank you for your kind words & also the things we can improve on. We are working hard to keep everything updated, clean and neat.
World Class Whitewater Rafting and Kayaking within minutes of this property. Great fishing on the North and South Fork River Horse Corrals on Site for Moutain Riding.
