Thanks to Anthea and Nick for a wonderful stay in their lovely cottage.

They made it so easy for us to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble, including airport pickup (recommended). The house is very roomy for two people. A gentle breeze blows through the windows and there is an electric fan above the bed to keep you cool during the warm nights. The pool is perfect for some gentle fitness to complement sunbathing in the garden. Our top 5 highlights of Barbados so far: - Relaxing on Payne’s Beach - Driving around the central and eastern parts of the island (the Sat-Nav really helped!) - Oistins Fish Fry - Welchman’s Gully - Sunbury plantation house Highly recommended.

We are a British couple who spend part of our time in the UK and part of our time in Barbados. The Pool House Barbados was built as an annex to the main house and is used as an entertainment area by us when guests are not in residence. We DO NOT rent The Pool House nor the pool for pool parties. We are into organic gardening and you are free to enjoy the fruits of our labour of whatever is in season.

Why they chose this property

This property was designed by the owners. It was designed to bring the outside in and the inside out. This property is ideal for nature lovers, the sound of the ocean and the smell of fresh air. The Pool House Barbados is located in a residential area on a private gated road and so is very quiet and peaceful.

What makes this property unique

The Pool House offers privacy, tranquillity, a private swimming pool (shared only by the owners) - all the luxuries of a hotel at a fraction of the cost. Maid service and meals can be arranged for an additional cost.
