Spring Break family getaway

Our family of 5 and 3 friends had a wonderful stay during spring break. The house was conveniently located to the beach, shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views and pristine property.

This home has amazing views of the sound. We were lucky enough to be there when we could watch kiteboarders from the balcony and enjoy glorious sunsets. It is an easy walk to the community dock/ramp. The property offered everything you could want or need to enhance your vacation. We will definitely stay here again!

Great stay!

This house was clean, comfortable, and as pictured/described. Beds were all comfortable and the amenities were great. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and game room on the lower level. There are a couple of things the house could use - we bought a new blender for the home as the top was missing for the located at the house. Overall, a great house and a great stay!

Perfect Get Away

Great host. Great house. The house was super clean, I was pleasantly surprised by how well outfitted the house was. We always bring our own plates and cutlery because some houses are bare bones but this house had everything you needed. We cooked everyday and with kids ranging from one year to 15 there was always something to do. We rented bikes through their rental service and they were there waiting for us when we arrived. That's it was our first time renting with them I called quite a bit and they answered all my questions quickly. Looking forward to our next vacation with Surf and Sound. Used VRBO to find the house but save yourself some money and go directly to their website It's very easy to use.

Awesome Stay!

The house was big and comfy. The views were incredible. Sunsets and Sunrises were postcard perfect. The pool and jacuzzi were nice, and the house overall was nicely decorated and modern.

Decent property for first time Outer Banks stay

We had an overall positive experience with Deep Purple and the property manager. If you find this property on VRBO just go directly to the Surf or Sound website and save yourself the $200 finders fee that VRBO charges. There are also VRBO insurance policies but Surf or Sound’s Policy covers many more perils and is cheaper so don’t buy the generic VRBO insurance - read the fine print, it’s amazing the differences.

Family vacation

Beautiful home, lots of room, top notch kitchen, good sleeping beds, great pool and deck furniture with cushions! Keyless entry was a plus! Game room, pool and hot tub was enjoyed by all! . Views from the decks were breath taking and only steps away from the sound. Only one problem - our stay was too short!
