Beach Me Up Scotty! is a cozy and affordable 2 bedroom, 2 & 1/2 bath, 1200 sq ft home. Located on oceanside and within a short walking distance to the ocean. There is a large sidewalk across from the house for bikes or walking that will take you to many local shops. , Master bedroom has a queen bed with joining full bath. Second bedroom has a full bed with twin trundle. Another full bathroom in the hallway. The living room has large open ceilings with large front windows for great views. A extra family room /game room with 1/2 bath and a pull out sleep sofa is located on the lower level. The open kitchen has a bar that seats 2 and dinning table that seats 6. There is a outside shower and a fish cleaning station under the house as well as a charcoal grill in the yard.

Insurance is offered when booking or you can look online for the best travel insurance for you. While we understand that emergencies happen, the reason for cancellation does not change our cancellation or refund policy. Travel insurance will help reimburse you for your costs if you are not able to keep your reservation and your cancellation does not qualify for a refund under our cancellation policy. It was a very easy check in. The owner was quick to respond to our questions. Nicely stocked kitchen and VERY comfortable bed in primary suite. A local gave us advice on a better way to get to the beach which was a huge help! We had a wonderful time and would book again!

We had the most amazing beach trip as a family of 4. We loved the area! Short walk to the beach, very well stocked of everything you may need, and exceptionally clean! We would love to definitely come back next year! We love this gorgeous house in Salvo!

"Beach me up Scotty" was everything we wished for our anniversary trip. House was very clean and organized. It is in a great location to see the sites we had on our list.The owner was very quick to answer the only question we had. Hope to stay again.

We had an amazing stay! The house was exactly as described and made for a wonderful trip. Bryan Scott, the owner, was fantastic to work with—very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, which made it feel like home right away.The only small downside was that we didn’t discover the “Never Forget” walking path to the beach until the day before we left. It’s much closer and has a boardwalk for easy access, so I’d recommend future guests take advantage of it early in their stay.Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

This was a really nice property that had all the things you'd need for an enjoyable beach vacation. We liked the location because of proximity to beaches and nearby towns. The walk to the beach is not my favorite but we knew going on it was "beachfront." The game room was so fun for the kids. We really enjoyed our stay. Bryan took care of an issue very quickly and was responsive.

We spent 13 days here. Had a great time. There are 23 steps to the entry door and it's more than a ten minute walk to the beach for 77 year old seniors.Also it's 14 miles to the Food Lion in Avon with no view of the ocean.

Beautiful beach paradise.

Great location walking distance to a private beach in a quiet neighborhood. Central to all areas of the OBX experiences. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back sometime.

Beautiful beach house

Beautiful beach house! Great location around the center of OBX halfway between Nags Head and Cape Hatteras. Host is very friendly, easy to get ahold of, and house is very clean with all the amenities needed for a great vacation! My family thoroughly enjoyed staying here and loved the game room! Would definitely recommend and love to come back.

Amazing Experience!

The beach house was amazing, clean, and close to a wonderful ice cream place. You could easily walk to the beach or drive to a public access beach. We loved the location in Salvo. For our family of 4, this house was everything we needed and allowed us to relax and love vacation.

Great beach house

We loved the house and it’s location. The beach house was super comfortable and we loved the outdoor shower and faucets to rinse ourselves and our stuff off. The location was quiet and just a short walk to the ocean. Perfect!

Excellent property in a fantastic area.

Beach me Up Scotty was just as advertised. The property was clean and well stocked with games ,dishware and lots of Movies. The area itself was peaceful but also offers plenty of activities to keep a family entertained. Fishing and beach fun is less than five minutes away.

Outstanding monthly stay

Spent an entire month at property on a working vacation and had a great stay. It was definitely off peak for the Outer Banks so many stores/restaurants were closed, but the trade off was a very peaceful and quiet environment. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to take care of meals

Why they chose this property

I have vacationed in the outer banks for years within Kitty Hawk & Nags Head area. Several years ago I decided to go further south with friends to Hatteras Island to spend a week. What a difference, the beaches were less crowed, the area was safer for the kids to ride bikes, fishing is great and less commercialized area. Years later I purchased this lot in Salvo. In early 2014, began construction.
