Megan Herbst has managed vacation rentals since 2005, with a personal touch and attention to detail that has enabled her to maintain long standing owner relationships and repeat guests season after season. Our Vacation Rental management company is a boutique operation that stands out as truly unique among the large corporate property management operations common in the area. Megan is directly involved in every aspect of daily operations and still personally confirms every reservation in an effort to better know her guests and to meet the needs of both guests and property owners. Aided by the loving support of her husband Jason, her goal is simple: to ensure a memorable and rewarding experience to every guest by offering the finest selection of luxury vacation rentals in Mammoth, with outstanding guest service to match. Comfortable for all 7 of us, including two grand-kids. Easy walk to Canyon Lodge for skiing and to catch the gondola back and forth to the Village. Won't hesitate to return.
Clean, good location, comfortable for us with 4 adults and 4 kids. No elevator from garage to the unit so that may be a concern for some but it was not an issue for us.
Great Mammoth Condo
Very nicely appointed, clean, comfortable condo close to the chair. I wish that we could’ve stayed longer.
Location is the key
This unit was a short walk from the slopes, which is exactly what we wanted. Beds were great and we loved the wood floors. Kitchen could be stocked a bit better - we had to borrow a can opener from a neighbor. The fireplace lighter also seems to be running low. The heat takes a long time to heat up when you arrive, but once it does it maintains the temperature fine. Unit was nicely decorated but lacked storage in some rooms like the master bedroom. Parking was easy and appreciated. Steps up to third floor were not a problem for us. We had a great stay!
I'm so sorry you were inconvenienced about the can opener. A quick call to our office could have solved that, we would have been happy to drop a replacement by (we have corrected this since receiving this review). Lighters are tested on inspection prior to arrival, and we replace them when they finally die off. If we notice a lighter is low, we usually drop a spare, just in case. Perhaps we didnt catch this on that inspection, or the guest didnt notice lighter B. Worst case, we can always drop another if needed. If you have trouble during your stay, I encourage you to contact your VR manager while you are in the property, as they may well be prepared to handle your concerns. We have 18 full time staff members in our housekeeping, maintenance and guest services departments who we can call upon to resolve problems. If this happens, or if you are concerned about problems with a unit you are considering, please call our offices at Mammoth Five Star Lodging. We have staff available by phone or email, 7 days/week, 9am-6pm (Pacific) to ensure you book exactly the property you want and to address issues that may come up during your stay. The condo was accurately portrayed in the site description. Great stay with 2 families with 4 small kids. Just be aware that there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the unit from the parking garage.
