Adorable apartment, excellent service, great location

My husband and stayed here the last week of May for three nights. The apartment is well located on the eastern side of Funchal, a 10 minute walk to restaurants, groceries, the farmer's market, the ocean promenade and the funicular (a must-do).The apartment is very nicely decorated, well lit and very well equipped. Two comfortable beds. Lots of storage. Super parking. Christina (standing in for Fatima) was amazing! She greeted us to share keys and orient us to the apartment, gave us many tourism/eating tips (try 'Jaket'). I gave a 9/10 score for the photos being true to reality because they showed two women sitting on the balcony when it turns out that this unit is below grade and has a below grade patio, not balcony. Because it is below grade there are only windows at the front for the kitchen, living area and one bedroom. The two bathrooms at the back of the apartment have no windows and the back bedroom has an excuse for a window (more like a vent), that provides no light). Overall a great apartment that we recommend highly.

Super séjour et appartement au top

Nous avions passé un super séjour dans cet appartement tout neuf et situé à 5 mn à pied du centre de Funchal. Excellent emplacement. Très propre. Bien équipé avec lave vaisselle, lave linge, draps et serviettes fournis. Literie très confortable. Assez lumineux. Adapté pour 5/6 personnes. Fatima, la propriétaire, est adorable et toujours joignable.
