House by the sea with excellent sun exposure, completely refurbished, comfortable, light and contemporary decoration, perfect for a relaxing city holiday.

Ground floor house with about 100m², one bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms (both with natural light and storage space): one with a double bed and access to the terrace, the other with two single beds and a window. The living room has a double sofa bed, suitable for larger families. The terrace offers a stunning view over the sea and the port of Funchal, with an outdoor shower, dining area, and portable barbeque. It is the most desirable room in the house, perfect for reading, sunbathing, outdoor meals, or simply enjoying the view and the sound of the sea.

Access to the house is via two flights of steps down.

AREA
Located in Lazareto, a few minutes from downtown Funchal. Quiet area with easy access to the city centre, either on foot or by car. Close to Miradouro do Lazareto, Barreirinha beach, Forte de São Tiago, Funchal-Monte cable car, Mercado dos Lavradores, restaurants, bars, local shops, and other services. In Funchal city centre, you’ll find several tourist attractions and information about cultural, adventure, and nature activities.

GETTING AROUND
The best option to reach the property is by transfer—ask us to book one with our local partners (cheaper than airport taxis). If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.

ACCESS TO PROPERTY
You have access to all areas of the property.

INTERACTION
We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply to all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS
- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID (passport or identity card).
- Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If not scheduled within 48 hours before arrival, guests will be subject to our team’s availability.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. Baby cot, high chair, and baby bath available on request. First aid kit, extinguishers, and fire blanket on the property.

HOUSE RULES

To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.

• Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• We ask that you be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.

The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke, and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation.

In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration.

A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights).

Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and payment of a fee.
Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and payment of a fee.

By making a booking, the guest accepts the house rules and terms of stay.

ATTENTION
- Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal: €2.00 per person/night (aged 13 or over), up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person/stay). Upon arrival, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.
- No pets allowed. Please don’t feed wild or domestic animals.
- No parties allowed.
