Villa Elora is ideal for families or a group of friends as it accommodates up to 8 people in its 4 bedrooms. Enjoy this spacious, modern, luxury holiday home with pool in the heart of the small tourist town of Platanias. This beautiful property offers comfort as well as luxury and was completely renovated to the latest standards in May 2022. The most common compliment heard among our friends and guests is, "This is heaven!".
The space
It has a private large outdoor area with a barbecue grill, a swimming pool with a wooden deck and a variety of plants. For hot summer days, the pool is right outside the door and the pleasant sound of the water is soothing and relaxing. Sunlight is abundant in Villa Elora as there are large windows and patio doors leading to the outdoors.

The villa was designed to have access to the outdoors from everywhere and it also has plenty of rest and living areas. A very well-planned garden surrounds the villa, with a variety of plants such as palm trees, strelitzias and a herb garden, while lush lawns cover most of the outdoor area. The property is spacious and our
guests are welcome to enjoy the whole garden.

Being a short distance (50 meters) from the sea and the shopping center of Platanias, Villa Elora is in an ideal location for those who wish to have a relaxing vacation or even a combination of vacation and work (workcation) with access to all the essentials. Its relaxing atmosphere combined with the soft colors that dominate the
interior and exterior design, make this house an ideal place to fully relax and enjoy your vacation.

The ground floor has:
a very comfortable living room with a large corner sofa and a fully functional wood-burning fireplace, ideal for relaxing with a chat, playing games, reading or watching a movie on the large Smart TV (Cosmote TV provided).
The open kitchen is designed with new white cabinets, center island and top of the line appliances (two coffee makers, toaster, toaster, cookware, glasses, plates, dishwasher, kettle, electric grinder, refrigerator with filtered water dispenser and ice maker, microwave, stove and oven).

In the common area of ​​the kitchen there is a breakfast nook for at least 6 people.
The contemporary dining room seats 8 people.

Separate room with washer and dryer for your use throughout your stay.
A toilet
Two bedrooms both with private bathrooms. One of them has a queen size bed (1.50 * 2.00m) and a terrace with a view, while the other has a king size bed (1.70 * 2.00m) and a small balcony that leads directly to the swimming pool.

The first floor has:
Two bedrooms with private bathrooms and super king size beds (1.80 * 2.00m). One of the beds can be separated if requested into two single beds (0.90 * 2.00m). Both bedrooms also have private balconies with sea views and coffee tables with two comfortable armchairs
in each.

A workspace with a desk for remote work. Our network speed is absolutely sufficient for streaming and work. Wi-Fi coverage at the property is excellent both indoors and outdoors throughout the house and garden with 3 Wi-Fi signal extenders

Outdoor areas:

There are four outdoor living areas:
A terrace which is to the side of the kitchen and another large veranda to the side of the living room that has a dining table that can accommodate 8 people.
A built in BBQ (charcoal or electric grill) with roasting utensils, dining table seating 8 and a built in outside sofa overlooking the pool and garden.
Another outdoor living area with a large built-in corner sofa with comfortable cushions, perfect for relaxing.
In the pool area there are up to 8 sunbeds and two large umbrellas. Our pool is 11.00 * 4.50m and 1.50m deep throughout its length.
A few extra facts about the house:
Each bedroom is designed around a different color palette, all with comfortable Coco Mat orthopedic mattresses and pillows, private bathrooms and automatic shutters.
The residence has thermal insulation as well as a central cooling/heating system which can be adjusted for each room separately based on your individual preferences.
The house is equipped with a smoke detector in the kitchen area, three fire extinguishers and a first aid kit.
All bathrooms are equipped with toiletries (shampoo, shower gel and body cream), liquid soap, cotton buds and tissues, sewing kit and shower cap, towels and hairdryer.
There is an outdoor shower by the pool.
There is private parking for 3 cars.
Guest access
The villa is in private grounds and guests have full access to the entire property. Due to the location of the house, within a very short walking distance, you will find restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, etc. It is also a great location to start for day trips to all the well-known points of interest such as Balos beach, Falasarna, Elafonisi, the Samaria gorge, etc. The town of Chania is about 20 minutes away by car (14 km) and there is also a local bus with regular routes.
