The proximity to Playa Santa is the highlight! The place was clean and had most everything we needed. We pointed out a couple items to the host that he said would be considered, otherwise it was a great stay!

Overall the stay was good with few notes to future travelers. The bedroom is very nice and bed is comfortable but the pull out sofa is more suitable for children or smaller adults. It is essentially a futon with pull out foot so comfort is marginal.Bathroom was clean and had shampoo and soap but the door is narrow. Larger visitors be aware.That said, the location is very close to the local dive shop and that was most important to my group so it worked out very well. Air conditioning was very effective and much appreciated. Communication with the owner was outstanding with quick responses every time we needed to reach out.Overall, I would not hesitate if I visit this area again.

The gates are actually not locked at all and never were. No big deal to us. The parking gate does not work and we had to open it manually which is no big deal. Don't bring the remote with everywhere you go because it didn’t work for us or other guests. There was a couple block walk to the beach. Not really a fan of the beach. Did find a another fantastic beach we drove too. Playa La Jungla it was 2 each to get in WELL WORTH IT thats where the bridge picture is from on the listing. You have to drive to it. The room was very clean and so comfy. Would I stay here again? Yes, because of the Playa La Jungla Beach and we know what we are getting. Host was great, room was super clean.

Gian was very welcoming and helpful with quick responses. The lodging itself was spacious and well equipped. Attention to certain details would have made it perfect, and glad to share so that future guests might be fully satisfied ...-ice trays needed-this being featured as a beach stay, would be helpful if backpack chairs (in good condition) were offered-provided.We did find a small cooler in the closet (unadvertised) and chairs (needing replacement) from another unit.It all worked out fine, again, these are added details that could make it very agreeable. The outside covered and gated patio is not really a setting for relaxing outside, but useful for drying beach items, and has a handy utility sink.The location is really prefect being practically across the road from the small and very private Manglillo Chiquito park-beach and a 5-minute walk to the expansive (Playa) Santa beach. Very good dining choices are within easy walking distance. A stay in Playa Santa can be very rewarding.

The inside of the unit was extremely clean. Would have liked to have had a toaster oven or air fryer to reheat fried food, As well would have liked a regular drip coffee pot instead of a expresso machine, Also a cutting board and some sort of salad bowls.. As for the secured gate the remote did not work but only once or twice I had to manually open and close a heavy rod iron gate. I was told to leave the gate open but then I am no longer staying at a secured unit.
