Please enjoy my beach home! This condo is a TRUE BEACH FRONT(only 45 are true beach front) with 180° unblocked view with private balcony (units that end in 00 to 05 are more expensive and bigger condos but well worth it IMHO) and not a BAY VIEW with non private balcony ( ends in 06 to 45) with a 45° view of beach. Also, I USUALLY ANSWER WITHIN AN HOUR except when my phone is turned off from 10 pm to 7 am but I will always reply immediately after that time.
CLOSE TO EVERYTHING!!!!!!!! . Book 5 or more days and get a 7:00 am check in and 6:00 pm check out guaranteed (unless the calendar is already booked before and after those days-- back to back).
I would like to assure you that this condo and complex have no CO2 producing items except the barbecue grills in the outside picnic area. The water heater, the stove and heating cooling units are electric and thus do not product poisonous co2.
Having survived HURRICANE Harvey with not that much damage at the complex or my home nearby, I would like to assure you that unless the eye of the hurricane is within 25 to 150 miles away, the only inconvenience is rain and a little wind. The complex however is still dealing with the minor Harvey damage and the process is slow.

2 years ago this North Beach complex (see picture) was really bad but now it has new management and is being fixed up VERY VERY slowly. If you saw how bad it was, you will notice how much better it is. Think of the complex as having TONS OF CHARACTER (lol). However, inside the condo itself is a very cozy 1 bedroom and clean, but simple and not fancy. All my pictures are accurate.
I own and manage one unit (2300). It is very kid friendly with the BEST PANORAMIC VIEW at this complex (20 miles in each direction). The condo is 480 square feet whereas the typical hotel room is 350 square feet. I live 10 minutes away should there be ANY problems at all. The property is gated with security.
This is only 1 of 6 of its kind at this complex (on the top floor at the end, meaning there is only one condo to one side and one condo underneath -- no sounds of feet on the ceiling). Also there is no foot traffic outside the door because it is at the very end away from stairs and elevator. VERY, VERY, QUIET but noise is not frowned upon. It is casually beachfront decorated, not formally elegant.
Listen to waves, enjoy coffee, watch dolphins and the panoramic view from a private balcony. The balcony is shaded after 12 noon so there is no hot afternoon sun. Relax completely in the shade.
This unit is right on the beach. You could drop something from the balcony and it will land on the beach. You can actually watch teenagers and adults in the water from the balcony. The beach is much safer without driving on beach and without rip tides.
Everything is supplied in the kitchen that you would ever need (lots of pots, pans, bake ware, utensils, cork screw, pizza cutter, full fridge, ice trays, blender, microwave, toaster, can opener, coffee maker). EVERYTHING! There are all kinds and lots of BEACH TOYS and a wagon to tote them to the beach, free WI-Fi, hundreds of DVD MOVIES, pool noodles, boogie boards, complementary coffee and supplies, beach chairs, umbrella stand and an umbrella until it breaks, beach towels, beach mats, small drink cooler/ ice chest holds 8 drinks, Kirby vacuum cleaner, all cleaning supplies should you need them including dish soap, hotel supplies, library of novels, and more, just ask! Two 40" wall mounted TVs.. I realize that other owners might see what I offer (like they already have) and then offer them also. I will accept that risk.
SIX PERSONS MAXIMUM NO MATTER HOW SMALL! This only sleeps 4 adults and 2 children under age 18 maximum (bunk beds are for those under 5 ' 5 " or so). That said, 5 OR 6 ADULTS OVER THE AGE OF 18 IS NOT ALLOWED in one condo at this complex SUBJECT TO EVICTION by the complex. TEENAGERS ARE CONSIDERED CHILDREN in these numbers.
Biking and walking on the beach boardwalk to restaurants, shops, and sites is highly recommended. Bikes can be kept in one of 2 bike racks (securely locked of course) on the property or taken up in the elevator and stored in the hallway or on the balcony of the condo, albeit a little crowded.
For pets there are places in town that will board animals in luxurious conditions if you search.
As I stated before, I CHARGE NO EXTRA FEES including no cleaning free nor huge manager fees as I expect guests to leave the condo as they found it. I will then clean and sanitize it completely and wash the linens in hot water and fabric softener. Kirby Vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies are provided. THIS IS RENTED AS IS. I will do my best to clean it to my standards (bleaching everything that can be bleached, vacuuming, dusting) but if you need more cleaning (or are a neat freak), my cleaning supplies or ones that you prefer and buy, will clean it better. Chances are I will miss some small cleaning and I apologize. In other words, there is no maid service. If you wish, I will charge you 150.00 and hire a professional to clean. I am a very nice person who has been taken advantage of lately by asking for the moon.
CANCELLATIONS: I do not handle the money. I handle questions and the listing only. I have nothing to do with cancellations. If you need to cancel within the time limit, just go to cancellation policies and click on cancel reservation.
There is a check in fee of 20.00 (later to be 15.00) to cover key cards. The office then gives map to the condo & where to park. Take the elevator near the street or the stairs near the beach.
CAUTION IMPORTANT: If you rent from someone that has keys, the previous guest could make copies of those keys and return to rob or worse. There are no keys to the room: When you are paid in full, you will receive a one time easy to remember personal code to the door for the security that keys do not afford (lost key fees or all guests using the same keys). Punch in code, when it turns green turn knob.
I have a visitors guide and a guest book in the condo for your use.
Make sure door is locked when you leave the room every time.(turn knob inside slowly until it clicks to lock)
VERY IMPORTANT: Anything having to do inside the condo are handled by me, anything with the complex by the office staff, and the booking is the web site.
FYI: the coffee maker=ground coffee (filtered hotel style coffee packs provided) not a Keurig
For total transparency, this is a quote from a review: "The location is amazing - the beach is right at the doorstep! The condo is simple nothing fancy but a great place to stay at the beach. Could not ask for better views!" Another review says 480 sq. ft. is small.
