One of the most spectacular villas on the picturesque island of Gozo, with views to match its name, Villa Panorama is an extraordinary luxury home that’s perfect for a truly indulgent holiday. Located up on the hillside on the outskirts of the historic town of Xaghra, the house’s elegant but understated stone exterior hides a plethora of exceptional features and an interior décor that’s straight from the pages of a design magazine. Glossy marble flooring, exquisitely finished hardwood fixtures and fittings and clever lighting throughout is complemented by contemporary furnishings and artworks. The house has been ingeniously built down into the rocky landscape, as shown by the remarkable exposed stone walls, with rooms spread over three floors.

A cool calm oasis with stunning views

Going on holiday with two young adult children who are pretty much nocturnal, one very active 11 year old and two tired parents could have been a recipe for disaster but due to this beautiful and spacious holiday villa with excellent facilities we were all able to connect and enjoy time together as welll as being able to relax and enjoy having our own space. John was a most charming host and gives sound advice as to the best places to visit on the beautiful island of Gozo. Xaghra square with its restaurants and bars are within walking distance and there is a Lidl at the bottom of the hill. The villa has all the conveniences you could wish for and you can lose yourself in the stunning view from the pool as you watch the sunset over the Citadella (which is well worth a visit). We were sorry to have to leave!

Great Villa teenage boys loved it !

Gozo is a beautiful Island, and this Villa has absolutely everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We have 2 teenage boys and they enjoyed having the indoor pool to themselves, and chilling in the cinema room. It was nice to arrive and not need to buy the essentials that you do at other villas we have stayed at. Its only a 10 minute walk to the village square where there is a good choice of restaurants. Definitely one on our list to visit again. AAA* Steve,Lisa Josh and James . UK

Beautiful villa in a perfect location

We have just returned from an amazing stay in Villa Panorama. It was our first time to Gozo and it certainly impressed us. The villa really is stunning and the views are breathtaking. It’s only a short walk into the square which has some of the best restaurants we’ve been to and lovely bars. It was a perfect holiday for some relaxation and we will definitely return. John was very helpful and responded promptly to any questions we had- thank you!

Wonderful view, wonderful property with the wow factor. Enjoyed the indoor pool and used it everyday for early morning swims. Very quiet neighbourhood with no disturbances at night. The only negative was we couldn't get the microwave oven to work and there were no instructions on how to use it. A few more towels would have been nice as only had one hand towel between two of us and then that disappeared when maid came in so had none.. Other than that we had a very enjoyable stay.

Relax in luxurious surroundings

The facilities of this wonderful house are second to none. The outside areas and view are magnificent, and when the weather is cooler, you have everything you need indoors. John makes the whole rental process easy, and is a very generous and responsive host. Overall this offers superb value accommodation on an island that is ideal for a relaxing holiday.

This well equipped villa has everything you need for a fantastic family holiday. There are amazing views across to Victoria and the Citadella. The owner John is very helpful and did everything he could to ensure our holiday was as enjoyable as possible. We all loved Gozo which was at its best with the springtime flowers. A very good place to go if you like walking coastal paths.

Magnifique semaine

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine dans cette villa. Le propriétaire est très accueillant et a répondu rapidement à toutes nos questions avant et pendant le séjour. La villa est spacieuse et nous avons particulièrement adoré la vue depuis la terrasse, la piscine intérieure à 27-28 degrés et la salle de cinéma. Nous reviendrions sans hésiter dans cette villa pour de prochaines vacances!

Stunning property in a stunning location.

We were blown away by this property it simply is stunning. Gloriously designed throughout, both indoor and outdoor spaces exceeded our expectations. Staying in July without a cloud in the sky, most of our time was spent on the pool deck, which is large enough for 8 adults to have plenty of personal space, shade if necessary and a view to die for. Four bedrooms, all large and comfortable with private bathrooms plus a sociable, open plan kitchen made this ideal for 4 couples. The local square with plenty of restaurants is within walking distance and a Lidl is only a short drive away! Perfect for those nights eating in, overlooking the illuminated Cittadella. All in all, pretty glorious.

A little slice of heaven

What a wonderful place, we stayed as a small party of 3 and almost got lost in this place. The view was amazing, the indoor pool perfect for January and the weather even in Jan was pretty good (around 18 in the day) John was the perfect host greeted us with local wine and olive oil which reflected his background in food. The bedroom we used was made up with the cot ready for my daughter and really good quality bedding that my daughter fell in love with (the blanket went everywhere!) It had everything you could need for a break and I cannot wait to return to Gozo and hopeful staying in this little piece of paradise.

perfect villa to stay in what ever time of year

this really is the perfect villa to stay in, its suits everyone taste which was perfect for my family, the cinema room is outstanding and excellent for when you've had a day in the pools and just want to relax, the in door pool is fantastic and wonderful for kids and adults too. everything in the villa is of the highest quality and perfect working order and I did a lot of cooking as it was so well formed ! all the bedrooms are what you would expect to find in the poshest hotels in the world and the air con is a welcome at night when warm. to be honest the only problem I had was leaving to come home ! so ive booked to go back again next year already. john and his family really are the nicest people and really do there best to make you fell welcome, johns wife came back in the evening to make the cot up for our daughter which was very nice of johns wife. I would recommend this villa to anyone and everyone as it suits everyone.

Probably the most exciting property on the Island

Having visited the Island over the years with our children, we returned this year with them now grown up and our first Grandchild. We needed a bolt hole that we could all enjoy and due to the extensive heat we knew we would have somewhere our daughter could cope with her 7 month old daughter. The write up looked promising the photo's shown wonderful, but to stay in this particular Villa was a pure pleasure and we thank John for taking our booking, meeting us and letting us use his Villa which we know he created from his heart. As 6 adults we all had our own space if needed, having a baby meant evening entertainment was restricted but with the home cinema room, we felt every night we had been out - a treat for the new parents. The equipment in the kitchen had been carefully provided, adults have enough in the designer cupboards to rustle up a feast, including it looked like a Christmas Turkey, but also children had been considered providing both cutlery and crockery. I had taken my usual cleaning emergency bits, knowing there was both a dish washer and washing machine, what a joy it was to find all that you needed had been provided, even full soap dispensers in all bathrooms. It is always the little things that mean more, it goes without saying the Villa was spotless on arrival, the pool man came mid week, a very friendly man and of course the lady that changed the towels and beds was such a joy to talk to. As for the view, it is one that you do not tire of, if you wanted to just live outside you could, with a great outside kitchen and shower. In all we would highly recommend this Villa, having already looked at future bookings, we feel the only problem is that you need to pre-book straight after your holiday for the next year! A big thank you John for being a wonderful host, gentleman and a great designer.

Wonderful

We only had 1 week at Villa Panorama and we were very sad to go. The villa is beautiful, the photographs don't say enough, and John is welcoming friendly and helpful. We have always been very fond of Gozo for our family holidays and our stay at Villa Panorama has given us some more good memories.

A perfect winter retreat

We stayed at Panorama Gozo in February 2015 in search of some winter sunshine, but knowing that if there was rainy day, the villa has the luxury of a heated indoor pool as well as wifi and a home cinema to keep us entertained. The indoor pool was glorious and I can imagine once Summer arrives, the outdoor pool will be wonderful too. The villa is spacious, well appointed with comfortable extra large double beds, perfect for a good nights sleep. John the owner is friendly and helpful. I look forward to having the opportunity to return.

Absolute luxury

If you want to spoil yourself then this is the villa for you. It is absolutely stunning, conveniently located for restaurants in the village square, Ramla beach and Victoria. Practically it has everything you could possibly need and more. The cinema room, indoor pool and bar are just pure luxury. Highly recommended, we had a great time.

Well this place was truly amazing the photographs do not do it justice. We so enjoyed our stay. The apartment has a fabulous kitchen with dining facilities inside or outside or at the barbecue area where the view is just amazing. Two swimming pools you can use both as the water was warm in both. The cinema room is state of the art. The villa is central for wherever you want to go on the island. The people of Gozo are so friendly and helpful. Never visited so many fantastic restaurants with the food first class. Would actually love to go back. Ten out ten score for us.

Breathtaking

What an absolutely lovely place to spend a week. The view from the terrace is quite spectacular, giving a panoramic view across the island from coast to coast, North to South. The villa itself is equipped with everything we could have needed and all to a very high standard. The pictures are accurate, but don't really do it justice if anything. All rooms are decorated stylishly, clean and modern with state-of-the-art facilities. The heated indoor pool and cinema room took care of the one rainy day we had (in luxurious style) , so we had no wasted days. The location too is great – only 2 minutes drive (or 15 minutes walk) from the village square where you have a selection of good restaurants to pick from. The property owner, John, was also most friendly and helpful throughout our stay. He kept us infomed of when to expect the maid and pool guy (both arrived exactly as advised) and was more than happy to offer guidance on good places to visit/how best to get around etc. Ideal for a relaxing week away. Highly recommended.
