I recently stayed at Villa Coco Lloret de Mar. The location was excellent, situated conveniently in the town, close to beaches and local attractions.
On a positive note, they did respond quickly to the power cut, and they have replied back saying the damage to the toilet appears to have been there before we checked in. It's just that we live in the UK and are used to little touches.
However, the drive leading up to the villa was extremely steep, making it impossible for our car to go up. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a welcome hamper with milk, bread, cheese, etc..., especially for those arriving late in the evening. Washing up liquid and bleach would have been helpful there is no point in having a sponge on the sink with no cleaning liquid and only having 1 toilet roll in the bathroom. This oversight meant we had to head out immediately for necessities.
While the villa itself was comfortable and well-appointed, these issues marred an otherwise pleasant experience. Future guests should be prepared for the challenging drive and plan ahead for essentials. Making these small changes would ensure future guests staying at Villa Coco have a more enjoyable experience.
