About this property

Beautiful Cabin in the White Mountains - Torreon Resort in Show Low

If you're looking for peace, quiet, and nice cool weather, look no further. Our recently purchased cabin has been redecorated, with flooring, paint, furniture and decorations. Relax in the tall pines and enjoy outdoor living at its best in the beautiful fresh mountain air. We have 3 decks around our cabin for you to use and enjoy the beautiful forest views. 1 deck has 6 chairs and a gas fire pit to use when it is a little chilly. 1 deck has a table and 6 chairs that can be used for dining, playing cards, playing games....and also has 6 burner gas grill for you to use as needed. The front deck a wooden rocker and a wooden 2 seated glider....
Not far from our cabin you can enjoy hiking, fishing, golfing, restaurants and shopping.
Some examples are Safeway (10 min drive), Fool Hollow Lake (10 min drive), Bison Golf Club (10 min drive), Show Low City Park, Show Low Aquatic Center, Show Low Museum, and several hiking/biking trails. A scenic hour drive will get you to the Sunrise Ski Park for wonderful snow skiing, or with neighboring lakes that provide some of the best trout fishing in the State!

Please Note--there are only 3 parking spots for our cabin. 1 spot in the garage and 2 more on our driveway. Please do not park in the shared driveway or on any of our neighbors driveways......Thanks.

We spent Thanksgiving at this property and loved every minute. Its in a quiet location and had plenty of room for the family. Would certainly stay here again!

Family Thanksgiving getaway. Beautiful quiet setting. 5 family members stayed but hosted turkey meal for 10. There was sufficient room for the afternoon and many fun board games to keep us all engaged ( even grandpa). TV remotes didn’t work & a really deep cleaning needed as well as kitchen inventory for broken / missing items. Owners were good with the entire process. We will stay again.

A Little Slice of Heaven

We enjoyed our very relaxing stay at the Torrean cabin in Show Low. Views out the wall of windows were picturesque. The area all around was pristine and beautiful to walk in nature. We just loved going there to relax with good books.

The home has an open floor plan and comfortable furniture throughout. It’s nicely decorated in cabin style. A bit darker colors than I prefer. I love the huge wall of windows, looking out on Pine Forest. Nicely framed the full moon! Appliances work fine, and all of the lighting and TVs were easy to use. Very quiet stay and lots of wildlife. Relaxing setting all around. Everything was as described.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. We had a little trouble with the TV at first, but Brian and Pam responded right away and kindly helped us get it working (totally user error, lol). They were so sweet and genuinely a pleasure to talk to.They went up right before our trip and decorated for Christmas. My daughter was so excited and surprised when we arrived. It really make the trip extra special and kicked off our holiday season. They even recommended putting out some of their bird seed in the morning, and my daughter was absolutely thrilled when a deer stopped by for a snack…it was such a magical moment. The beds were super comfy, the fireplace made the cabin extra cozy, and we loved sipping our morning coffee by the fire pit on the front deck.We will definitely be back. Thank you, Brian and Pam, for sharing your lovely home with us!

Perfect cabin

Yearly my wife and her parents take a getaway. I love Show low and this was the most perfect cabin for us. Could easily fit 4 more but better with just us. Wound up staying in every night instead of going out. Just that lovely and comfortable.

Weekend getaway

This property was exactly what we expected. Upstairs were 2 bedrooms and a loft and downstairs a master suite, kitchen and living area. The outdoor spaces were perfect for enjoying the rain, our coffee or just the cool weather. The house was clean, the owners responsive and the location ideal. We absolutely loved our stay!

birders paradise

Our Merlin Bird App found 26 species of birds in the back yard from the deck. We had a wonderful time. Saw a huge rabbit and squirrel the size of a medium dog. A great place to observe wildlife.

Just the Getaway We Needed

What a beautiful home in Torreon! We had a quiet, restful weekend which is exactly what we needed. The home is immaculate and beautifully furnished - we were very comfortable. The outside deck was our favorite place to sit with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Our first night there we saw 7 squirrels and (gasp) a very friendly skunk! Thank you so much for allowing us to be your guest!

We closed on this cabin in June of 2017, and re-did quite a few things... We love our new cabin and are excited to share it, as well as spend time in it ourselves. We live in Gilbert, Az--Pam is a retired 4th grade teacher, I work in sales in Phoenix. We feel extremely blessed to have a place to go to in the mountains.

Why they chose this property

Pam wanted the big window that shows out to the forest, and this house gave us that. We LOVE Torreon and all the amenities that it offered...
