We loved this beautiful apartment! The lay out was great the kitchen and washing machine were wonderful. The location and proximity to bus lines amazing restaurants, and small local grocery store were much appreciated.
The only improvements we would suggest are adding screens to downstairs windows and bathroom to keep the mosquitos out and replace master mattress with something a little softer maybe. Otherwise it was perfect and so charming!!
Nice property. Good location. NO WIFI! Big problem.
Really enjoyed the property. There was a good street near the Carlotta (aptly named) hotel where we could reliably park. The problem was that when I had a (major) hiccup with our itinerary, I didn't have any wifi, and roaming data is not great, nor could my laptop easily use it with the personal hotspot. I had to wait until the morning and find a local library to go to to get things worked out, and ended up missing some important parts of our itinerary.I'd highly recommend the place if it had wifi.
We had a wonderful stay at Casa Romana in Florence. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The bedrooms upstairs worked great for us. We had our 5-year-old and 15-month-old just across the hall from us and it was very comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious and quiet and we appreciated the air conditioning. The pillows did leave a lot to be desired, but since we did not use the loft space in the one bedroom where there was a third bed, we borrowed those pillows to double up. We were able to rent a pack-n-play for our toddler for a minimal extra cost that they set up with a sheet, blanket, and pillow, and it worked great. The bathroom worked well, though the shower drained slow. The main space of the house was small, but met our needs as we usually went out for dinner or just had a quick sandwich for lunch. There was an outdoor bar/restaurant next door, but they closed at a reasonable time and it was a great place to sit down for some food and a glass of wine or beer. The house was quiet whenever we got home from exploring all day. The area was great and very walkable. We put the baby in the backpack and were to the piazza or the river in about 10-15 minutes of walking and there was a great park nearby through the door and down our street. Some of our favorite restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and gelato were all on our street. We loved Florence and this VRBO rental made our stay very comfortable!

Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful review! It’s great to know the layout, air conditioning, and quiet bedrooms contributed to an enjoyable stay, and that the location made it easy for you to explore Florence on foot.
We also appreciate your helpful notes regarding the pillows and the slow-draining shower — feedback like this is very valuable and will be shared with our team so we can continue improving the guest experience.
It was a pleasure hosting you, and we’d be happy to welcome you and your family back anytime!

Pros; The water pressure is actually nice!Location is good, 15 minute walk from Ponte Vecchio I wish there was more. Cons:Top tips to enjoy this space better, if you twist the pillows, you can’t feel the individual balls of cotton. The mattresses are pretty hard and the one on top is on the floor, you can almost feel the cushion it’s really great! The ac was making a harsh noise due to the air filter being dirty that It could no longer function.Next to the home is a good restaurant, only issue is that the windows can see directly into the home and the window of the bathroom makes it so they can hear everything, time your bathroom breaks accordingly. Maybe some curtains would be recommended. There is a side table next to the couch, it’s actually a broken chair “very artsy.I guess the mismatch furniture makes it not welcoming.
The best thing about this apartment is the location, it is literally a 10 minute easy, safe and interesting stroll to the Ponte Vecchio and a lot of great restaurants.
The pictures of the apartment suggest a sunny, open Mediterranean feel about the property but in fact it was quite dark and not so bright. As it was, this was a blessing with the weather being so hot, so the apartment remained relatively cool. The beds and bedding could do with an up-date, the mattresses and pillows, whilst clean, were well used. Three of us stayed at the apartment and whilst there's room for six to sleep there, the apartment is too small for six adults, the one bathroom and small kitchen/dining area would be a challenge.
The host let us in early as we arrived well before the check-in time of 2:00pm, which was appreciated but having only one key was limiting and would have been a problem if there had been more in our group.
All in all, this was a nice apartment in a great location and value for money in the wonderful city of Florence.
Nous avons passé 4 jours dans ce très beau duplex, situé au centre de Florence.
Nul besoin de voiture, tout est à proximité. Nous le recommandons sans soucis
