Joana Stunning Villa is a 10 Min Walk to the Beach

Situated on the prestigous Vale do Milho Golf complex, this stunning detached villa is a ten minute walk to the beautiful Centeanes beach which offers an excellent restaurant and snack bar along with water sports in the summer months.



Also within a short walk there are several excellent restaurants and the Rocha Brava complex which offers a supermarket, bar, restaurants and sporting facilities including tennis and a gym. Carvoeiro is a five minute drive to the west which has many more restaurants and bars and is home to the outstanding Pestana Golf complex offering three championship courses.



Casa Joana has a large sweeping driveway which leads from the gate at the bottom right up to the front door of the villa. On entering the villa, there is a hallway with doors leading to the fully fitted kitchen, entrance WC and through to the lounge. The lounge is spacious and light and has satellite TV/music system and ample seating. There is a door to the left leading to the master double bedroom with en suite bathroom. Patio doors from the master bedroom lead to the pool area. There is also a further bedroom on this side of the property. A door from the right of the lounge leads to two further bedrooms and a family bathroom, one of these bedrooms also has access to the pool through patio doors.



Leading from the lounge is a large dining area with patio doors to an internal patio with BBQ and stairs leading to the roof terrace. The modern fully fitted kitchen and offers a further dining area. The villa has air conditioning throughout. Leading from patio doors from the lounge and two of the bedrooms is the large swimming pool and terrace which has a further BBQ and outdoor seating area. Surrounding the property are well maintained gardens with native flowers and shrubs. Overall, Casa Joana has been lovingly furnished and is extremely well equipped.

Lovely, large villa with lots of amenities in a very quiet, clean neighbourhood. Stunning pool area with bbq. Would thoroughly recommend, the only drawbacks were one smelly bathroom with a slow draining shower tray and there is only one key.

Lovely stay, the best measure is deciding whether you would return, which we would. We never managed to get the internet connected to our devices but we weren’t too bothered, and the pool was pretty cold but we got over that. Otherwise, great place to spend the week.

A lovely villa with plenty of space and amazing pool in a very nice area. Plenty of usable items catering for all needs, we had a pleasant stay. Internal lounge furniture needs an update, it is warn and looks dirty/greasy, it needs a good clean. The mattresses on the double beds are excessively hard and uncomfortable, making for a difficult, relaxing .

We had a wonderful stay for our cousin's wedding. The setting, the villa, the pool everything was of quality and we felt very good there. Everything is 7 minutes away (beach, restaurant, shop...). Lovely, spacious villa, good size pool and plenty of outside space. Kitchen is big, well equipped with glasses, plates, cutlery, 2 coffee machines, washing machine, washing line outside. We love this Villa & Carvoeiro, just returned from our 9th stay. Really close to local restaurants all very good & a 10 minute stroll to beach. Town is only a 10 minute taxi ride where you will find loads of restaurants & music (maybe summer only) Some things need updating:- beds, sliding doors, bathrooms

Perfect stay!

This was our first family holiday together - 6 adults and an infant. I have to say we couldn’t have asked for anything better than this. Great value for money too! We enjoyed the swimming pool and outdoor area where we all chilled and ate our evening meals. The villa was so spacious inside, the kitchen and bedrooms were all a good size. Walking distance to the beach. Katharine accommodated for everything we requested from the start and the links she gave for transport were great too and useful during our holiday. We all agreed that we would definitely like to go back to the villa. Katharine and team - thank you from all of us.

We had the most amazing week at the Casa Joanna! The villa was as described and even more beautiful than the photos, so comfortable to stay in with doors opening from the back bedrooms to the patio/swimming pool area too. Katherine and others from the rental company were always so helpful and quick to get back to us with answers to our questions. Our kids spent so much time in the pool, which was really well maintained (someone came to clean/maintain it twice in the week we were there). The villa is also just a 10 minute walk to Centianes beach which is beautiful and quieter than nearby Carvoeiro, it also has an amazing restaurant called the O-Stop, and we got a tour of the caves from the beach too. There’s also a good choice of other restaurants within walking distance too. Thank you for such an easy, enjoyable stay - it was such a memorable holiday for us all, and we can’t wait to come back again!

Difficult review this week has onetwo issues, particularly with wi-fi but they were finally resolved l. Katherine got someone to attend the day after Christmas which was good. the issue was a silly clerical error on the password card which wass not so good. I pondered giving 4* but in the end the issue that was important to us was resolved (wi-fi) and the minor maintenance issues (not resolved) did not affect our stay so I give 5* because Katherine resolved that in the middle of the holiday period - that could not have been easy! Everything else was excellent location, pool, cleanliness, unexpected maid, size and space.

Schöne Villa, gut ausgestattet. Toller Pool, wird einmal in der Woche gereinigt. Schöner Grillplatz, den wir auch einige Male genutzt haben. Zu bemängeln gibt es lediglich die viel zu enge Einfahrt die auch noch von Büschen unnötig weiter verengt wurde. Hier wäre ein Rückschnitt dringend erforderlich. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Danke für den tollen Urlaub. Wir waren dort mit 6 Personen + 1 Baby. Wir würden wieder kommen. Perfektes Haus, toller Pool, tolle Lage, ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten auf dem Grundstück. Pool-Reinigung 2-3x/Woche, frische Handtücher nach 3 Tagen. Küche gut ausgestattet, Zimmer mit Moskitonetzen (wichtig!). Ein Babybett konnte dazugebucht werden. Einfacher Check-in und Check-out. Es gab zwei Kleinigkeiten, die man hätte besser machen können, bitte als konstruktive Kritik verstehen: 1) Vor Ankunft sollten wir uns auf einem externen Portal im Internet anmelden. Hier wäre es besser, wenn die Kommunikation ausschließlich auf airbnb gehalten werden könnte. Externe Portale bergen Risiken. 2) Das Bad war zwar sauber, aber es hat etwas unangenehm (Siphon) gerochen.
