Large Stone Cottage With Hot Tub and Sea Views | Ty-Newydd-Llannor

Ty-Newydd-Llannor is a magnificent large stone cottage with hot tub and sea views. Located in the heart of the Llŷn countryside, it comes with gorgeous views of the Tudwal Islands, and even has an original working waterwheel.
A handsome and contemporary rural escape, the cottage sleeps up to 14 guests. It is perfect for a big birthday, special anniversary, or an extended family getaway. It comes with a handy ground floor ensuite double bedroom, ideal if someone in your party prefers not to do stairs.
Equidistant between Pwllheli and Nefyn, you'll find Ty-Newydd-Llannor
in a peaceful countryside setting on the edge of the small village of Llannor. The cottage is perfectly placed for exploring the coastal towns of Pwllheli, Abersoch, and Criccieth, and the many lovely beaches and bays of Pen Llŷn. It's just a short hop to some of the region's best attractions including Portmeirion, Zip World, and the Welsh Highland Steam Railway.
There's no doubt that this large stone cottage with hot tub and sea views comes with some serious wow factor. It's gorgeous. Recently restored to create a supremely comfortable 21st century holiday hideaway, it is bright and inviting, packed full of original features, and beautifully presented throughout.
As well as that double ensuite bedroom on the ground floor, you'll find a large living room with exposed beams, original stonework, and wood flooring. Supremely comfortable plush sofas are arranged around an inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove. It's a really convivial space. From the living room, you can walk through to a stunning oak conservatory - this is a real showstopper, looking out across rolling parkland and countryside to the sea, with views of Ynysoedd Tudwal / the Tudwal Islands. Double doors open out from the conservatory onto a terrace, with a large lawned garden beyond.
The kitchen is another very impressive space. Featuring a large range cooker as well as smart granite worktops and slate flooring, it has all the kit and caboodle you could possibly need. There is an oak dining table to seat 14, and an additional breakfast bar seating area. Bifold doors open out onto the garden terrace, ideal for al fresco dining. Also on the ground floor, you'll find a handy separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, a downstairs loo and separate shower room.
On the first floor of this magnificent large stone cottage with hot tub and sea views, there are four beautiful double bedrooms, including one ensuite. There is also a large ‘double twin' room with four single beds - ideal for the children - and two good sized family bathrooms, one with roll top bath, and the other with a large walk-in shower. On the second floor you'll find a ‘secret' large snug lounge, with giant beanbags and plasma TV. Perfect for the children or teenagers to find some private space of their own.
The house sits in around four acres of grounds, which include a small lake (fenced in) and mature parkland. The indoor living space extends into the garden via an inviting dining terrace adjacent to the conservatory, and a well-established south and west facing lawned garden. There is a fantastic hot tub with plenty of room for a gang. It is a supremely peaceful and beautiful setting, a great place to sit back and contemplate the view.
To the rear of the cottage is an attractive courtyard, which offers ample parking for guests. You'll also find a large games room out there (it's more of a barn), with a pool table, ping pong, darts, sofas and assorted other games. Perfect.

A maximum of 3 dogs are welcome at this property.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Pen Llŷn - the Llŷn Peninsula - is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and one of Britain's oldest pilgrimage routes. On both counts it's not hard to see why.
An exceptional and dramatic shoreline of coves, cliffs, bays, secret sandy beaches, offshore islands and stacks, wild beating waves - it's a picture of what an idyllic coastal wilderness might look like.
The cottage is around five miles north of the seaside town of Pwllheli. This is a real maritime town, with a large marina and sailing community, and some great sandy beaches. You'll find plenty of shops, cafés, restaurants and bars, and there are a couple of large supermarkets if you need to restock your stores whilst you're there.
Head around five miles in the other direction - and to the other coast of Pen Llŷn - and you'll arrive at Porthdinllaen near Nefyn. It's home to a beautifully sheltered sandy bay and what is consistently voted one of the best bars in the world - the Ty Coch Inn. An idyllic place for a pint and a ploughman's, but do check opening times before you visit. There's also a very decent craft brewery and tap room - Cwrw Llŷn - in the town.
The charming coastal village of Criccieth is around 13 miles away, with its traditional Welsh tearooms, some great places to eat out, as well as some very decent fish & chips. Expect attractive independent shops and some very browsable galleries and antiques. There's even a traditional Welsh clog maker who still has his workshop in the town. Oh, and a medieval castle to watch over it all. It's a great place to explore.
This magnificent large stone cottage with hot tub and sea views is a short drive from some great family activities and adventures, including the petting zoo at Dwyfor Ranch Rabbit Farm (10 miles), Glasfryn Parc with its karting and wakeboarding centre (6 miles), and Bounce Below, Zip World and Llechwedd slate mine at Blaenau Ffestiniog (30 miles).
For slightly more grown-up days out, head to Portmeirion and its Italian style fantasy village (18 miles), or Harlech with its steep winding streets and UNESCO-listed 13th century fortress (25 miles). Or how about a day out on a steam railway? The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland railway are a splendid way to see North Wales, with regular departures from Porthmadog (15.5 miles). Abersoch, with its buzzing bistros, bars, boutiques and beaches, is around ten miles away.
