Awesome

The Retreat was the perfect place to stay in Windermere. It was stocked with everything I needed from an umbrella to salt, pepper and vegetable oil for cooking. The location was ideal. It was close to the train station and the Main Street. It was very quiet because it was on a little side street. I highly recommend it.

Perfectly situated to access all the Lakes have to offer. The accomodation is spacious and has a very cosy feel, the kitchen is well stocked with all you'd need including kitchen foil and cling film! Parking is a first come, first served basis (and tight) so I would advise parking up and using other forms of transport, or walking from the front door. I had a lovely stay
