Great location with wonderful accommodations

This is a highly recommended location in the hear of everything. Grocery store and metro less than a block away. Apartment is I. Great condition and host is wonderful to work with. Will definitely be back.

Amazing flat in ideal location

We had an amazing 9 day stay. The flat is in the most ideal location to all forms of transportation and close to many of the major sites to see. I would absolutely stay here again and again!

Wonderful

Check in was easy, flat was exactly as described, clean well lit, ventilated and we LOVED the location. Kitchen has everything we needed from coffee maker to fridge to laundry. Walked all over London and used the Underground each day, it was so close!

Amazing location and very nice property manager. He met us right away showed us around and helped us up with the luggage. We met up with our local friends and even they kept remarking on what a truly great location this flat is in. Very close to everything but in a quiet area. Thanks again!

when we landed, we were told there was a leak in our original booked place and the manager Dalton was able to secure us a new apartment in a different neighborhood. His communication was outstanding and he greeted us at the door. Though the neighborhood roadwork was under construction. we were still walking distance to everything which was ideal. The only negative was the en suite bathroom shower and toilet were down stairs and it was difficult to control water spilling on the floor from the shower and tub. Otherwise the apartment was great for four people.

Avoid!Like other recent booked guests, we didn’t actually stay in this property - see the reviews from Oct 2025 that precede ours (NB: sort reviews by ‘most recent'). On the day we were due to check in, we were told there was a leak and we were moved to another properly of the owner's choosing.We believe this is a pattern of dishonest behaviour from the owner, in which they advertise a property they know they are not allowed to rent out (see the review from Jason K from Aug 2025) and switch the guest at the very last minute. This is borne out not just from the reviews that precede ours but also from a conversation that we had with the guest that came into our replacement property immediately after us, who had also been moved from their booked accommodation (at a completely different property) at the last moment.In other words, this is a classic bait and switch scam.

The property was lovely, had wonderful amenities and an excellent location for seeing the sites Dalton the host was very responsive and helpful with our checkin. A downside was the lift was out of service and the walk up 4 flights of stairs was a bit of a challenge for my husband due to health issues. In addition, a dispute between London Properties and another property management group overseeing the building tenants created some undue stress concerning the validity of our rental agreement through VRBO and the owner. My hope is this issue can be resolved soon as the 5 star property is perfect for a family of 4 to stay during a London visit.

Perfect Location In London

Our location was ideal, private street with no traffic, but just 500 feet from restaurants, local pub and tube station for easy travel to all of London. Short 2 block walk to all of Covent Garden. The flat was very spacious and two bathrooms was ideal travelling with your adult children! Would book again. Great trip.

We unfortunately didn’t get to stay in the VRBO we originally booked due to a water leak. We were moved to another property last minute, which didn’t have air conditioning and was only available for one night of our three night stay— something we weren’t told until after we arrived. This made the whole experience stressful and inconvenient, especially since we had plans during the day and couldn’t be dealing with moving accommodations again.Dalton was helpful in moving our luggage to the new place for the last two nights, which we appreciated. The second VRBO itself was fine, but the situation as a whole was very poorly handled. We were told we’d receive a refund for one night because of the inconvenience, but that still hasn’t happened despite multiple follow-ups. We have not heard back from the property manager on the refund. Overall, a frustrating experience that could have been managed much better.

Unfortunately, on the day we arrived in London we were informed that the property that we booked and had fully paid for was unavailable due to a leak. They offered an alternative flat. When we arrived, the building was under construction and surrounded by scaffolding and sheeting over the scaffolding whch left the partment very dark ad without any views. On two of the days we were there there were construction crews at our windows.The original listing we boooked showed two king beds and two baths. This partment had one queen bed and one full size bed. The second bathroom sower door didn't close therefore all four adults had to share the shower in the other bathroom.Since our original bookig wasnt honored, we asked for a concession on the price. We were originally told that we would receive a 10% discount. That offer was later rescinded and we were offered a discount on a future stay, which we will not be able to use.Overall, we were disappointed with the way this booking was handled

Perfect Location in a Grade II Listed Building

The property is the perfect location with West End plays, grocery store, tube, taxi stand, railway station, bus stop, and numerous eating venues within a 5-minute walk. The property is located on the 3rd floor (UK) which is the 4th floor for Americans but there is a small lift that makes bringing in luggage easy. The beds are US queens (UK kings) and the mattresses are on the firm side. A bonus for those using hairdryers is the vanity table and mirror in the master bedroom, a feature lacking in many flats. The kitchen is stocked with enough appliances to make breakfast or small meals. You will hear noise from the pub across the street from the living room but the bedrooms are in the back of the apartment and are quiet. We would definitely stay here again for the location, cleanliness, and functionality.

Great Stay

You can’t beat the location There are so many wonderful restaurants and the tube is very nearby. Flat had everything that we needed needed for our stay. There were a few lightbulbs burned out, however the host was very quick to try to get those fixed for us. Check in and check out. Instructions were all very clear. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels. We found the hairdryer to be handy and the towel warming rack in the bathroom was a bonus . The host is extremely responsive and we felt well cared for. Again, I can’t say how fantastic this location was for our London stay!

Pros are the location, space in the apartment, and Dalton, who was great with helping us check in. The location simply could not have been better. The photos posted by the renter don’t do it justice - the space is very big and airy - fantastic! It was also well equipped in the kitchen and bathrooms. The apartment was generally clean, except for the stained carpets and burnt out overhead lightbulbs in the bedroom and living room. Cons are the significant anxiety we felt about the status of the property’s apparent lack of permission for a short-let. Seeing the countless postings both inside and outside (and directly on the unit’s entry with a permanent metal sign on the wall) about our stay there being “illegal,” my family was in a constant state of worry. There was even a CCTV camera pointed at our unit’s door (there weren’t these for other doors). My wife was also worried about being hassled by management or other tenants (though we fortunately weren’t). We have had rentals around the world, and we have never encountered this before. This condition/issue should have been disclosed in the rental description. Other cons were the AC in the lower bedroom did not work. It was not set up properly with the venting to the window. This was no issue as temps were cool the week we visited.Communication with the rental company after the stay indicated that they were permitted to offer VRBO. Hoping they will be able to removed the negative signage for future customers.

Amazing London Location

Pluses:Trafalgar Suite was wonderfully located, close to trains, theatres, Thames, tourist sites, dining. It was clean, well appointed (the kitchen knives were even sharp- a rarity in rentals), and the management was remarkably accommodating. An example,we arrived during a heat wave and couldn’t sleep because the apartment did not cool at night with no AC. The management acquired portable air conditioning units for our bedrooms so we could sleep. Negatives: the listing states two king beds. British King beds are 10 inches narrower than American King beds, and one of the beds actually measured 54 inches which is a US double. While the apartment is on the corner of a happening party street, the bedrooms are in the back and are totally quiet. There are shades, but no blackout shades and the sun comes up brightly shortly after 5AM. Finally the neighbors in the apartment building are really quite unhappy that the apartment is rented and took every opportunity to let you know their displeasure with you being there. Pluse: Dalton was extremely helpful in timing our arrival. He offered early access to allow us to store our luggage before the apartment had been cleaned and prepared for our visit since our plane arrived at 8 AM however a better option was found in LuggageHero storage a few steps away from the flat, allowing us a full day of sightseeing before checking in. Highly recommend LuggageHero storage if you have early arrival before the 10 AM checkin time OVERALL: great stay
