Bright Contemporary Guest House with Private Patio, Walk to S Congress, Downtown

A stunning 842 SF detached two-story Guest House in the heart of South Austin, separated from the Main Home by a tree-filled privtate entry. You'll have a full kitchen, dining, living area and a study/work space (desk & LCD monitor) and a half bath downstairs. Upstairs is a bedroom with a King Bed, walk-in closet and an elegant bathroom with a huge, dual-head shower. Guests also have part of the back yard, outdoor seating and a fire pit/chimnea to use that is partitioned from the rest of the yard. You will also have a Smart TV with streaming apps and a full size washer & dryer.

We are a very quick drive or a casual walk to Zilker Park, South Lamar and South Congress! We typically walk to our favorite places...like Lucky Robot Sushi, Torchy's, Lady Bird Lake Hike & Bike Trail, Thai Fresh, Auditorium Shores, Terry Black's BBQ, Summer Moon Coffee, Reina Pepiada, LeNoir, Fresa's and many, many food trucks & trailers!

Come see why Austin continues to be one of the fastest growing and best cities to live in! Cindy and I have been hosting fantastic guests for almost 4 years with 100% posative and ZERO negative reviews (on another site). We set this up as if we would want to stay here without needing anyting outside of food/water/etc. I know you will have a great stay, but please let us know if you have any questions!

We don’t have many checkout “instructions”. We hope you have a nice morning and we hope to see you again! You may put the towels in a pile upstairs, and make sure you have your things! Safe travels!!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No smoking inside. No parties unless we know what's going on in advance. There is a $75 per pet fee...pay in advance or when you arrive.
Reminder if more than two people staying overnight, there is a $50 per person fee for each night they stay. More people=more wear and cleaning needed.
Pet fee is per pet. Same with extra humans. :)

Lovely, comfortable, and quiet! It's official my favorite place to stay in Austin and will book again. It's close to Congress and a short drive to downtown. Scott & Cindy are amazing hosts and their dogs are very sweet. They provide information on places to eat and things to do. They made sure we were taken care of and always replied quickly.It's a such nice place to stay, very clean, and great place to relax. All the comforts of home are taken care of for you. Check-in & out was very easy & simple. Highly recommend! Thank you again!

This was for sure one of our best VRBOs. The photos looked nice, the place was even better in person. Close to LOTS of stuff in the area as well. The yard was awesome to hang out in and the neighborhood is solid. Really, really happy with this rental.

We travel to Austin several times a year, and this was by far our favorite location! Cute house with everything we needed, and close to downtown. Walkable to lots of restaurants and activities. Hosts are fabulous to work with too!

We had a wonderful stay! The space is beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. It was fully stocked - appreciated the blow dryer and bathroom essentials. The hosts were lovely and accommodating. The bed and pillows were also very comfy.
