Wow! This property is excellent! We had such a good time here, and it was PERFECT for our group of friends and family, with kids 7-11 years old. The pool was warm and fun. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the place was beautiful. We appreciated the prompt responses from our host, and would stay here again!

Inaccurate Location

We didn’t receive the address until we were driving to La Fortuna from the airport in Liberia— just before check-in on the same day as check-in. She was friendly, and responsive on the VRBO app, but we never got an actual address, just map coordinates. I understand that things are different in other countries. I have travelled before and respect other cultures. But this was NOT LOCATED IN LA FORTUNA. We had to drive a half hour out of the actual town to get to the property. It was really out in the middle of nowhere. Not knowing the area or this country (I am pretty decent with speaking Spanish but this was really unfamiliar territory) this was not at all what we were looking for. Looking back at the listing it said “Stay in La Fortuna” and there were no details to say it was located so far out in another Villiage or countryside. I asked the host to clarify this on the listing, so others would not make this assumption I made by the misdirection on the listing. In fact we couldn’t even have known until we arrived as she didn’t sent the address in the “Welcome Email” that is sent in advance. It is possible this is an amazing house and property. We didn’t stay. It just wasn’t comfortable not knowing anything and being in an unfamiliar territory. I am still waiting on refund….

If this were in La Fortina it would be acceptable but this is very remote

Belle propriété. L’endroit est bien équipé (cuisine, grill extérieur, toilette x3, climatisation). Il est à noter que deux lits salle de bain se trouvent à l’étage avec un accès indépendant du rez-de-chaussée.Aussi, la résidence se situe plutôt à San Ramon à environ 30 minutes du Centre-ville de La Fortuna. Si vous aimez être éloigné de la civilisation, vous allez apprécier! C’est très rural comme endroit!

Great accomodation and excellent host

We arrived at the property around 1am and Glenda was awake to open the gate for us. Property was very clean and very comfortable. Pool was a great addition and kids enjoyed a lot. On the last day just before checkout, we had a flat tire and Glenda sent a person to help with switching the spare tire. Totally recommend
