A Unique Home at Kealakekua Bay with 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths; A Friendly Village
About Elizabeth Kilpatrick
Steve and Elizabeth built Manini Point House in 2005 because "We love Hawaii Island and wanted to build a home where couples and families can relax and enjoy precious moments together and know that they are in paradise. Our extended family often visits us in Hawaii and they look forward to their stay at Manini Point House. We live on Konacopia Farm about 10 minutes away, and are happy to take our Manini Point House guests on a tour of this special family botanical garden that includes Organic Coffee and Mangos, avocados, citrus, soursop, and much more!

Why Elizabeth Kilpatrick chose Captain Cook
Manini Point House is just a two minute walk from lovely Manini Beach Park at Kealakekua Bay. K Bay and the surrounding area is a Hawaiian treasure. Manini Point House is located in a little village community and the neighborhood gives you an opportunity to visit with friendly local people as well as folks visiting from around the world. Learn about the Hawaiian culture while visiting historical sites including Puuhonua O Honaunau, Hawaii's National Park, just 4 miles away. If you are looking for an alternative to a generic resort for your holiday, Manini Point House offers the opportunity for an authentic Hawaiian experience in a gorgeous part of the Big Island. At Kealakekua Bay, you will often be snorkeling and swimming with interesting reef fish, occasional dolphins, and seasonal whales. Take a kayak tour across K Bay to Captain Cook monument. Manini Beach Park is a relaxing, very special place to spend quality time alone or with family and friends. Manini Point House at Kealakekua Bay is a place to relax, enjoy and create memories, and know that you made the right choice.
What makes this House unique
This beautiful home with its hardwood flooring and stone countertops has a large gourmet kitchen and lanai where families enjoy cooking together and sharing meals. Annual family Hawaii trip
The property is great! Wonderful location and the owners are wonderful! We travel to Hawaii once a year. This is a keeper! Check out the toga at the botanical gardens! Great recommendations by Elizabeth to make the stay even better!!
beautiful house, amazing location
We stayed at Manini Point House for a week and loved it. The house itself is beautiful, very clean and amazingly well equipped with everything you might need for your stay. The location can't be beat as you can walk in minutes to a small beach with good snorkeling located at the bottom of the Kealakekua Bay. You can also rent kayaks to explore the bay and leave from a cove a stone throw away from the house. The night life (birds, frogs) is a bit noisy at first but you get used to it pretty quickly. We would be glad to come back.
Great house for our family vacation. Great location as a base hub to hit snorkeling, beaches and volcanoes. Loved the home.
Tranquil off the beaten path
Amazing property on Captain Cook bay. Well equipped property that easily becomes the stage for fun day excursions nearby. We would definitely recommend to others.
Wish we had stayed longer!
Our group had a wonderful stay at Elizabeth's home! Elizabeth provided excellent communication and wonderful information about the area. The house itself is beautiful and the location was great - only a 2 min walk to Kealakekua Bay and amazing snorkeling. Our only issue was that our stay was too short!
february 2019 stay at manini beach house
we just finished a six night stay at Manini Beach House
My husband and I were celebrating his 80th with our four adult kids (ranging 34 to 55)
The house is beautiful, comfortable and wonderful location
We swam in Kealakekua Bay, Two-step and Ho'okeno all wonderful snorkel places.
We were going to rent kayaks but didn't get around to it.
The kitchen, bar-b-q and dining area make for wonderful times sharing meals at the house.
Coming back from swimming the outdoor shower is the best.
Had some very lively and fun rounds of ping pong
We love the natural feeling this home provides.
The stargazing on the upstairs deck is incredible my first time seeing such an amazing star filled night, like being at a planetarium show.
The hosts are there if you need them but respect your privacy, just what we wanted.
Highly recommend staying here.
