"BREATH OF SALTY AIR is a 6-bedroom home that offers guests a private pool, *elevator, high-end finishes, a separate kids' retreat and a kitchenette conveniently located near the pool and grill. This 1st tier home is less than a one-minute walk to the beaches of North Cape San Blas giving you plenty of time to enjoy the white-sand beaches and Gulf of Mexico. And with 4,500 square feet of living space, there is plenty of room to enjoy time together as well as find areas for play. With 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, this Gulf-view vacation home accommodates 18.

The main living level offers a grand gathering room with leather sofas, a dining area, a gourmet Kitchen with a large center island, granite counters, high-end appliances, and a large pantry. Spacious decks also provide dining and relaxing areas while providing a view of the pool activities without being in the splash zone. The spacious pool deck increases the entertaining space.

Looking for adventure during your stay at Breath of Salty Air? Your reservation includes $300 worth of adventure gear rental, a delivery fee may apply. Whether your adventure is sitting under an umbrella on the white-sandy beaches, biking, or fishing from a kayak in the Bay, this $300 credit towards your vacation gear rental will ensure you have the adventure you seek. You will be able to shop for bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, or even beach carts. No need to find the rental company, your gear will be delivered to your beach house and will be waiting for your arrival.

Breath of Salty Air has easy access to the 8-mile Logger Head Walk/Bike Path.

Bringing a pet or want pool heat? Either one can be arranged for an additional fee (please note that pool heat will only raise the water temperature 10 degrees above the outside temperature). Please check with us on size and number limits for pets. No events are allowed that are over the occupancy of the house or that require a chaperone. We strictly adhere to a minimum age limit for renters.

*The elevator is residential grade and may occasionally experience disruptions. Our staff will do all we can to repair any issues and get the elevator functional again. However, if an elevator repair tech/Company is needed repair times can extend several days due to our remote location. If you have someone in your party with mobility issues please plan accordingly as this amenity cannot be guaranteed.

Great house! Super close to the beach. The heated pool helped for the colder days. There aren’t any dressers in the rooms-so that made un packing challenging. Very responsive rental company. Great experience, will be back!

Great stay

Really enjoyed our stay! Great location close to beach. Very clean and spacious for our family of 16. Needs more towels, kitchen and bath. Had to buy our own broom. Pool was nice and clean. Ice machine in lower level did not make ice, had to buy ice . Cable in upper level did not work. Overall great vacation rental.

Appreciate the fact that there were plenty of trash bins outside, and that we didn't have to worry about dragging them up the street. One thing, there are no dressers in any of the bedrooms which was odd. Nowhere to put away foldables. Also, be sure to bring a hairdryer, as none provided. Would update some of the kitchen utensils as they are needing it.

Amazing Spot!

Close to the beach, and local spots, this vacation was perfect. We paid for pool heat and for staying in April, we were glad we did! Want to visit again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was just as described, and our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the pool, the well stocked kitchen & most of all being such a short walk to the beach. The only recommendation I have is that the washer and dryer on the upper level be replaced. The washer does not wring the water out of the clothes & the dryer basically doesn’t dry at all. However, the ones of the main level worked fine. I think we will probably rent this property again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed a wonderful week at this house with 15 of us: 8 Adults and 7 kids ages 6mos to 10. The short walk to the beach was fabulous and easy with only 5 steps to maneuver over the sand dune. Gorgeous beach with so many shells and sand dollars. Plenty of room in the house. The view is what you expect from 1 house back of beach front. We felt layout of bedrooms and bathrooms to be very adequate even without an en-suite for all bedrooms except the master. We would have appreciated all beds made upon arrival and enough sheets for every bed (even though we didn’t need them all) The pool was great. We paid for heat and was well worth it. We had a few maintenance issues that were mostly take care of promptly. Unfortunately the floors were swept but the ground in dirt was pretty disappointing and only a vacuum and mop for cleaning supplies. We able to get a swiffer delivered but not enough clothes to even clean the 2nd main floor properly. We also had an issue with 2 backed up drains. They upper level tub was fixed within24 hours but the outdoor shower was not even though the maintenance person worked for a couple of hours. The kitchen (great layout and roomy) appliances pot&pans and cabinets are starting to show wear and tear of a rental. Note... no coffee grinder. No blow dryers. No broom and dustpan. However there is a high chair and pack play. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and spent most of our time at the beach or pool!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Breath of Salty AIr. Paying for the heated pool was the best choice! The house had plenty of space. The kitchen had all the plates, pots, pans, accessories you need for a week of cooking away from home. We loved that we were able to bring our 4 legged family member too! It's an easy walk over to the beach and walkable to the convenience store. From the decks we got sunset views on the gulf and sunrise views from the bay. We only had one issue...we blew a fuse in kitchen outlets. We looked (what we thought was) everywhere but couldn't fine electrical box. Maintenance came (super nice guy) and got it for us! The floors were filthy but the rest of the house was clean. There was not a broom/dust pan to help clean up any sand. We had access to a vacuum but recommend they leave a broom. Thankfully there were 2 sets of washer/dryer as the main washer was not working properly (wouldn't clean/spin, only filled up with water). The yard could have used some TLC...long weeds and some previous renters left some trash and dog poo. My only other recommendation would be to have some tables pool side and on master deck. We rented a pontoon from Captain Clint which was easy and a nice activity. We also went to the state park.Only restaurants tried was the Seafood Mart. Great Grouper and Shrimp. We also had pizza delivered from Peter's Pizza. Oh and donuts from Weber's were great. Other than that we did a lot of shell hunting and pool lounging.

Wonderful home, plenty of room for large families or several families.

Great location, quiet small town. Lots of beach to walk along collect shells and hang out. Home is large enough for a very large family or extended family. Clean and well maintained. Kitchen is stocked with plant of dishes and nec9to make meals at home. A few local restaurants to try, we stayed during Christmas week, so a few shops were closed but overall a great time and would definitely recommend this home. Would stay again if in the area!

Disappointing property!

The property was not clean when we arrived. 2 mops were laying in the garage/parking area. Trash can was full, cardboard box in swimming pool, coke bottle in pool area, black something around pool. Pool toys scattered about. There were numerous problems in the house such as: at least 3 tvs did not work, 2 ceiling fans did not word, dirty bed spread and much more. There was a list of problems and attempts to get them resolved but did not work to our satisfaction. I wrote a letter to Cape & Coast Vacation, I will send it on to you. If you do not receive it soon please call me at 937-901-1262. I was very disappointed considering the amount of money we paid to rent this house! Doug Heard

The kitchen is well appointed and the layout of the house is awesome. It was especially nice to have 2 washers and dryers. Everyone had plenty of space and privacy. The house was also very well priced for the size and location. The outdoor lighting can use some attention as it was very dark in the evening. Also, not every bathroom had a hand towel. We had to be creative by using bath towels. We loved the low key atmosphere and had plenty of space at the beach. We booked horseback riding through Rockin M Ranch and highly recommend them and the experience! We also booked kayaking through Happy Ours Kayaking and bike post. It was a wonderful experience which we also recommend. The house was awesome, the beach was perfect, and all the local people are super nice and welcoming!!!! We will definitely come back on future vacations.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Being this was our 5th year vacationing in Cape San Blas, I expected our rental experience to be comparable to previous years. This was the most problematic rental. The rental was not ready upon check in, the pool was disgusting and was not usable until the third day of our stay, the side entry from the pool to the house would not work, the house was not clean at all! There was sand in the bed sheets in three of the rooms. Living room ceiling fan was inoperable as well. This place was not rental ready and we were really disappointed in our stay. We will not be renting from Cape and Coast ever again. If I could give negative stars I would.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 4th year staying at a Breath of Salty Air. It is an excellent house for large families. The only problem is that the house is starting to show the signs of constantly being rented for the first time. The owners need to take a week this winter and go from top to bottom, including grounds and pool. I would also suggest that curtains be hung in the living room/kitchen area as an option to help keep the house cool.With that being said, i would not discourage someone from renting the house this summer, but if attention is not paid this year then next year may be a different story.

Wonderful Holiday

Beautiful Home and Responsive Hosts

We had a wonderful time this week! The house was clean and so beautiful! We had an issue (outside the control of the owners) with the beach reconstruction going on, but the hosts were responsive and handled it quickly. We would absolutely rent again for our next trip to the Cape!

Beautiful house with a few issues

Location was great. Loved the pool. Elevator did not work well, no remote for downstairs bedroom. Couldn’t get bunk room tv to work either. No dressers to put clothes. Smoke alarms went off two times in the night for no reason. The second night we removed the battery to make it stop. I emailed concerning tv remotes and never received an answer. The property is beautiful but wished things worked better. Kitchen fry pans were in rough shape.

The house was very spacious and did accommodate out handicapped family member. It was as close to the beach as it said it was and comfortably sleep all 16 of us! Would recommend to others!

Absolutely the best!

We had 10 adults and 9 children. Plenty of room for everyone. The house is extremely well laid out, beautifully decorated, and well appointed. So close to the beach and almost exactly between the Trading Post and Scallop Cove. Short walk (like maybe 30 yards from sand to house) to the beach. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is big and airy and made it easy to cook for so many. Like all rental houses, the kitchens pots and pans are well used and one can always use just a few more. It’s always harder to cook in someone else’s kitchen. We will definitely be back!
