Situato al secondo piano, senza ascensore, appartamento Margott è stato completamente rinnovato ed arredato con gusto.mantenendo intatto il sapore antico dei soffitti a casettoni. Entrando trovate il soggiorno con il romantico caminetto, il tavolo per 6 persone, il comodo divano letto per 2 persone, la cucina all'americana nascosta da pannelli scorrevoli.
La camera da letto con finestra ha un grande armadio ed il bagno con una grande comoda doccia è stato disegnato da Antonio Lupi. l,appartamento è luminoso e dotato di doppi vetri, porta blindata con serratura a cilindro europeo.

IL QUARTIERE DI SANTA CROCE è UNO DEI QUARTIERI PIU' COOL DI FIRENZE, ricco di ristoranti, pub, negozi .
Tutti i principali luoghi d'interesse si possono raggiungere a piedi: gli Uffizzi, piazza Signoria, Il Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, Galleria dell'Accademia ( DAVID) e naturalmente la BASILICA DI SANTA CROCE che si trova di fronte alla casa!!

L'appartamento si trova in ZTL. Chi desidera arrivare in macchina deve prenotare IL garage. Per cortesia fatemi sapere se desiderate il garage al momento della prenotazione dell'appartamento. il costo del garage dipende dal tipo di vettura

Great apartment close to most places.

Very nice, modern apartment. Marina was quite helpful and had a manual on the area, restaurants and how the apartment appliances work. 60 stairs to the apartment.

Location Location Location

This property was conveniently located, and within walking distance of all of the sites. Marina was a gracious host, even though she was unable to meet with us personally. The apartment was exactly as described in the listing, and we felt very comfortable and welcomed. Florence is a beautiful city, and we can’t wait to return!

Wonderful stay in Firenze

Wonderful location steps from Santa Croce square. Marina's apartment is perfectly situated on a quiet street in the heart of Florence walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the train station. Her apartment is as immaculate as her photos display, beautifully maintained and offers "the little things" (outlet converters, a scissor, Levazza coffee machine) which reminded us of her thoughthfulness and professionalism every time we discovered we needed something, and it was there! Our only regret was our 8 day stay was not long enough. We hope to be back to stay at Marina's "five star" apartment home soon.

Could not be better

My wife and I spent 11 days at this property. We chose it because of its clean design, reasonable rate, and strong reviews. It also enjoys a location that is convenient but away from the worst of the hordes of tourists in Florence. Marina's English is fluent and her attention to detail scrupulous. When two lights needed to be replaced, we had new bulbs within 24 hours. When a visitor made the bathroom door impossible to open, frenzied e-mails to Marina late in the evening brought a prompt rescue mission from her. The only negatives are beyond anyone's control--a long climb up to the apartment, and people in the street late at night. Street noise, though, is to be expected everywhere in a city such as Florence, where narrow streets are always full of large numbers of people. In a word, our experience, extending over 11 days, fully confirms the extremely positive reviews that this property has received.

Great quiet apartment, walk to everything

Two of us stayed in this wonderful, modern apartment. After all of the ornate architecture of Florence, a little modernism is very relaxing! Building was quiet, air conditioning was a HUGE bonus in July, the owner met us when we arrived and was very helpful. The apartment had all you will need for preparing simple meals and there is a nearby grocery store and taxi rank but Florence is extremely walkable from the apartment unless you have suitcases.

Bellissima accomodazione!!

Appartamento ben arredato e fornito. Comoda posizione in quanto vicino a piazza santa Croce e si può raggiungere facilmente tutte le mete turistiche passeggiando per il centro storico di Firenze. Marina è stata disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta e gentile, soprattutto nello spiegarci dove andare a mangiare e cosa fare la sera. Logement exceptionnel

Accueil chaleureux par la propriétaire soucieuse de satisfaire ses hôtes. De nombreuses recommandations pour profiter de la ville de Florence. C'est agréable de pouvoir parler en français. Un petit clin d'œil pour le cadeau imprévu lors du départ pour faire plaisir à notre fille. Le logement est exceptionnel par son design blanc avec du mobilier original et de qualité . C'est très rare à Florence. Il est très propre, lumineux et très bien équipé (la wifi fut grandement appréciée par notre fille). L'appartement a fait l'objet d'un réaménagement complet vraisemblablement par un architecte décorateur. La vitre entre la chambre et le séjour est une belle astuce pour donner de l'espace. La hauteur de plafond agrandit l'appartement. La situation de l'appartement est idéale dans le centre et permet de faire une halte dans la journée pour se reposer un peu ou se rafraîchir. Une location d'un bon rapport qualité prix. Nous avons passé 5 jours magnifiques fin avril . C'est vraiment une adresse que nous recommandons vivement (d'ailleurs le planning d'occupation témoigne de l'attractivité). Bravo et merci

LA PERFECTA ESTANCIA EN FLORENCIA

Hemos pasado en Florencia un inolvidable fin de semana y en buena parte ha sido gracias a la elección de nuestro alojamiento en el apartamento Margot. Viajamos periódicamente a la Toscana(nos apasiona) y siempre descubrimos rincones, lugares, artistas que nos emocionan, y esta vez no ha sido diferente. Marina nos dio la bienvenida con simpatía y hospitalidad pero también profesional, con sus recomendaciones y atenta a nuestras necesidades. El apartamento está perfectamente ubicado, en el barrio de la Santa Croce un barrio con carácter, con mucha vida, que te permite penetrar algo más en lo cotidiano de la ciudad. Responde absolutamente a lo descrito en el anuncio, está muy limpio y todo funciona a la perfección, el wiffi, el aire acondicionado, los electrodomésticos...Es cómodo, inteligentemente distribuído, funcional, moderno y decorado con gusto y dispone además de todo lo necesario para disfrutar de una estancia perfecta. Nosotros lo recomendamos vivamente y por nuestra parte volveremos a él en nuestra próxima visita a Florencia.

UN BELLISSIMO RICORDO

Per il nostro soggiorno a Firenze abbiamo scelto Margott e non potevamo scegliere meglio! Tutto è come descritto sul sito e abbiamo anche avuto la piacevole sorpresa di trovare nell'appartamento molte informazioni utili e un elenco ristoranti dove abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Gorgeous apartment and perfect location

This perfectly appointed and very recently updated apartment is centrally located among the shops, restaurants, cafes and attractions of Florence. The bed was comfortable and everything was sparklingly clean. The proprietor showed us all of the apartment's appliances and accompaniments, and there were many. For the most part, it was very quiet (there was some historical soccer match going on while we were there and the neighborhood was in full party mode for two evenings). This place was truly everything we needed and wanted and will definitely stay there again when we return. Thank you!

bellissimo appartamento nel cuore di Firenze

abbiamo trascorso 4 bellissimi giorni nell'appartamento Margott. L'appartamento è dotato di ogni confort ed è ancora più bello che nelle fotografie. Posizione ottima, abbiamo raggiunto a piedi tutte le piazze, i monumenti, le chiese e le mostre in città. Appena si esce dall'appartamento ci si trova davanti la bellissima Piazza di Santa Croce e in fondo la Basilica, una vista spettacolare ogni mattina!!! Consigliamo a tutti questo comodo, moderno, fantastico appartamento e ringraziamo Marina per l'accoglienza.

A lovely modern apartment ideal for a family

This is a very modern, clean apartment with great air con, very important in July! We would come back to the apartment to rest in the afternoon and go out again in the evening. The apartment is one minute walk to Santa Croce church and square and within walking distance of all main sights. My children ages 12 and 9 slept on the sleeper couch. The apartment is fully equipped with everything, even a washing machine which we used. The stairs are very steep, so elderly people may struggle with luggage. Thank you Marina for a lovely stay, all the advice and always replying to my emails promptly.

Schönes Appartment, perfekte Lage

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Florenz. Das Appartment ist toll gelegen, geschmackvoll modern, aber nicht zu stylish und mitten drin und voll im Leben. Und: Die Fenster sind super isoliert. Also offen das pralle Leben und geschlossen erholsame Ruhe. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind im grunde mx. 20min. zu Fuß entfernt. Egal in welche Richtung. Die Ausstattung ist vollständig, allerdings im Detail nicht 100% auf Selbstversorger ausgerichtet. Aber sonst ist alles da. Waschmaschine, Trockner, Föhn, Bügeleisen, Wäschetrockner, ein tolles Bad, Spülmaschine, Herd. Und Marina ist wirklich nett und sehr sehr hilfsbereit. Alles in allem den Preis absolut wert und nur zu empfehlen. Frank und Familie im Sommer 2014

Très bel appartement

L'appartement est beau , bien aménagé avec un réel confort , c'est vraiment très appréciable . Il est situé idéalement près de tous les sites historiques et des lieux à visiter . Il est très agréable de pouvoir repasser à l'appartement durant la journée pour prendre un peu de repos . Marina nous a accueillis très chaleureusement et nous a apporté une aide précieuse au moment du départ . Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour . Nous recommandons donc cette location . Perfect Location

Steps from Santa Croce and a 5 to 15 minute walk from everywhere and everything you want to see and do and experience in Firenze. Apartment Margot is very well done, nicely furnished, and the renovation is contemporary and comfortable. It has great closet and drawer storage for two and we were so appreciative of the laundry facilities as we had been on the travel road for over two weeks. Location is spectacular, two nights we walked over the Arno to restaurants on the other side, 10 minute walk and wonderful local neighborhood restaurants, one night we went to Piazza Signoria and enjoyed wine and people watching with dinner at Cantinetta Anitnori's, again a 10 minute walk. One of our favorite's which was just around the corner was Franchesca's (sp). Marina is wonderful to work with and so well prepared; she gives you a map marked with favorite restaurants, sites etc. She brought us some wonderful florentine pastries that we so enjoyed the next morning -THANK YOU MARINA! We liked them too much because we treated ourselves to more. Larry and I spent 6 days at Apartment Margot and truly wish we had time for a few more. Marina has done a wonderful job and truly cares about giving her best and sharing her city to those who choose to stay with her. You will not be disappointed.

The Perfect Hideaway in Central Florence

There aren’t many opportunities to report that holiday accommodation is flawless. However, this is such an occasion. We tend to lean towards renting apartments rather than staying in hotel accommodation. As a consequence, we have dealt with many owners and experienced varying standards of service. This gorgeous apartment near Santa Croce is without doubt the best on every level. When booking the apartment, the owner, Marina, was polite, friendly and always fast to respond. On our arrival, she took time to make us feel at home. Her attention to detail is impeccable. We were offered maps, lists of recommended restaurants and even a fascinating history of the street on which the apartment building stands. After settling in, we were delighted by how clean and well appointed the apartment is. It really is spotless, and it is clear that Marina takes a great deal of pride in taking care of the property. The bed is comfortable, linen of a luxurious standard, and we had many a deep sleep in this surprisingly quiet central location. A day after our arrival, Marina emailed me to ask if everything was to our liking – a very thoughtful touch. The kitchen is small but well stocked, and we enjoyed a number of cooked meals using produce from the local markets. The monsoon style shower in the bathroom is a real treat after hours of wandering the sultry city streets. We felt so at home in this apartment that it was rather sad to leave. It’s rare that we recommend accommodation to friends, due to the concern that they may not share our tastes. We would, however, recommend this apartment to anyone. It is, quite simply, the most perfect little hideaway in central Florence. Marina has set a benchmark in terms of standard and service that few others will be able to match. We hope to return soon.

Lovely apartment in the city center

My wife and I travel a lot and we often rent apartments in various European cities. Marina's apartment in Florence is very likely the best apartment we have ever found, anywhere. The location is excellent, near Piazza Santa Croce, within walking distance to all places one normally visits in Florence. The apartment itself is newly and tastefully renovated and fully equipped. It is the kind of place one wants to come back to after a long day on the town. And we will certainly want to stay in it again next time we are in Florence.

Excellent value for money!

My parents stayed in this fabulous apartment in the heart of Florence, in a strategic position from which to explore the city on foot. The owner, Marina, was very warm and kind. She welcomed us on our arrival at the apartment and provided us with recommendations for shops and restaurants. The apartment was spotless, quiet and very comfortable with a sofa bed in the living room which sleeps two, and a fully equipped kitchen. Come essere a casa...

Noi eravamo in tre: io, mio marito e mio figlio di 7 anni. L'appartamento , oltre ad essere in una posione centralissima, è un piccolo gioiello: pulito, funzionale, attrezzatissimo e molto carino...l'arredamento è stato fatto con buon gusto. La proprietaria poi è stata disponibilisima ad ogni nostra richiesta. Insomma, per noi il voto è OTTIMO!

Dopo una lunga ricerca abbiamo finalmente trovato questo delizioso appartamento dove siamo stati benissimo. Moderno e accogliente ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio e rincuorati dalla bellissima posizione nel quartiere di santa croce dove abbiamo trovato eccellenti trattorie e ristoranti consigliati dalla proprietaria Marina, che ci ha accolto con cortesia nonostante il nostro arrivo a tarda ora. Appartamento margott consigliatissimo. Speriamo di poter tornare al più presto! Federica e Andrea

Il centro storico di Firenze e ZTL, zona traffico limitato. L'appartamento si trova in ZTL. Chi desidera arrivare in macchina deve prenotare IL garage. Per cortesia fatemi sapere se desiderate il garage al momento della prenotazione dell'appartamento
