The Locality
Situated on the edge of the village of Glanton and within walking distance of the village pub, from 1 mile away we have eating places available. We are only 13 miles away from Alnmouth, a beautiful sandy beach stretching north and south of the mouth of the River Aln and train station.

We are 9 miles from Alnwick Castle which is the second largest inhabited castle in the UK and also where Harry Potter was filmed and further up the coast we have Bamburgh and Holy Island,

A guidebook is available for guests with numerous places to visit, lots of things to do if you choose to be kept busy, along with places to eat!

There are many things to consider when planning your stay, however, location is usually the most important and Turnpike House is hard to beat!

Built in 2023, Turnpike House is a beautiful traditional stone built property on the edge of Glanton village, a beautifully landscaped garden with outstanding, uninterrupted countryside views.

A spacious apartment with its own entrance, a large flat screen television, super king size bed, sofa, dining kitchen with hob, oven and fridge. Bathroom with steam free mirror, sink, toilet and large walk-in shower with dual shower head (including rainfall).
