Explore the countryside and enjoy a relaxing walk from your doorstep or why not follow in the footsteps of the pilgrims along the North Downs Way? The property is well situated for visiting Leeds Castle or a bit further afield Canterbury Cathedral. Maidstone has a rich and colourful history and is a lively bustling town full of cafes, bars and restaurants. Making the most of your holiday in and around this area is easy with golf courses and parks, which are great for picnics and during the summer months play host to a variety of entertainments including outdoor theatre, music festivals and concerts. It's also a great place for messing about in boats, whether you choose a traditional rowing boat on the lake at Mote Park or perhaps rent a boat to explore the River Medway while taking in a few of the quaint villages along the way.
