This north-woods cabin was built in '54 and has seen many updates over the years. The original knotty pine floors and ceiling are still just as warm feeling today as they were when it was built. A large hand laid stone fireplace is the center of the living room where you will also find a 42" TV with Netflix, Youtube TV (ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC, etc), and a huge movie collection. In the kitchen you'll find everything you need for cooking, including coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and a grill.
There are three bedrooms. The lakeview bedroom has a queen size bed and the other two both have full size beds. Additionally, the living room has a queen size pull out futon and a full size pull out futon. Total the cabin can sleep 10 people, though groups of 8 or less will find it to be most comfortable.
We have four 60 foot docks that are shared between our three cabins. For the late season musky fisherman we will leave at least one dock in until November 30th, later if weather permits. There is 20 amp power available at the docks. There are a few stairs to get down to the lakeshore but once there you'll find a sandy beach and waterfront fire pit.
Kids love the large yard behind the cabin where you'll find plenty of space for pickup games of soccer and baseball. Trees and woods on the rest of the lot provide almost unlimited places for exploration and playing hide and seek. If that isn't enough there is an ATV / Snowmobile / walking trail that runs parallel to our road and from there you can get almost anywhere in the area.
There is an outdoor fire pit at the cabin and firewood is provided. It is the renters responsibility to check MN DNR's website for fire danger and burning restrictions prior to using the outdoor fire pit. We can't put a link to the website on here due to VRBO rules but if you search google for "mn DNR fire restrictions" it will be the first link that comes up.
*** Winter rentals will be canceled with a full refund issued or rescheduled if outside temperatures are expected to be below -10 F (negative ten degrees Fahrenheit) for more than 24 hours in a row. ***
