Esta cabaña de North-Woods fue construida en el '54 y se ha visto muchas actualizaciones a lo largo de los años. Los pisos y el techo de pino nudoso originales todavía son tan cálidos hoy como lo fueron cuando se construyó. Una gran chimenea de piedra colocada a mano es el centro de la sala de estar donde también encontrarás un televisor de 42 "con Netflix, TV de Youtube (ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC, etc.) y una gran colección de películas. En la cocina encontrará todo lo que necesita para cocinar, como cafetera, ollas, sartenes, utensilios, platos y una parrilla.

Hay tres habitaciones. El dormitorio con vista al lago tiene una cama queen size y los otros dos tienen camas de tamaño completo. Además, la sala de estar tiene un futón desplegable tamaño queen y un futón desplegable de tamaño completo. El total de la cabina puede alojar a 10 personas, aunque a los grupos de 8 o menos les resultará más cómodo.

Tenemos cuatro muelles de 60 pies que se comparten entre nuestras tres cabinas. Para el pescador almizclado de final de temporada, dejaremos al menos un muelle hasta el 30 de noviembre, más tarde si el clima lo permite. Hay una potencia de 20 amperios disponible en los muelles. Hay unas pocas escaleras para bajar a la orilla del lago, pero una vez allí encontrará una playa de arena y un pozo de fuego frente al mar.

A los niños les encanta el gran patio detrás de la cabaña donde encontrarás un montón de espacio para juegos de fútbol y béisbol. Los árboles y los bosques del resto del lote proporcionan lugares casi ilimitados para explorar y jugar a las escondidas. Si eso no es suficiente, hay una pista de ATV / Snowmobile / Walking que corre paralela a nuestra carretera y desde allí se puede llegar a casi cualquier lugar de la zona.

The cabin was clean and as described. We had everything we needed. The owners came down to say hello. Very friendly people! We rented the pontoon while there. Had an awesome time on the lake. Check in/out and pontoon rental a very easy process! Would definitely stay there again!

Great place to stay on Vermillion

My group and I stayed here for a fishing tournament on Vermillion. The hosts were friendly, helpful and accommodating. They even joined us by the fire one night. Great location too!

Check-in was easy no hassle. Arrived and cabin was ready. Kitchen was clean and has all basic essentials from? Appliances, utensils, and dishes. Snowmobile Trip Stay

My friends and I stayed here for our snowmobile trip and could not be more pleased! Yes, there is good space for a trailer. Roy and Denise were so friendly and helpful! The location is also great. We will be staying here again soon!

We loved our stay and would definitely come again, however, the one evening we wanted to use the TV it wasn't working. We also had no Internet, temporarily, the same day. Also a mention of the access to the docks and being steep would be a good idea for those who may not be able to navigate due to health issues/disability. When we arrived we were welcomed by Roy and Otto. We brought our puppers and realized we had forgotten her tie out and Roy brought us one which was great! Great hospitality and well l kept cabin!

Family getaway

It had everything. The owners were great. It had an awesome water access with water activities. It was walking distance from a bar restaurant. It had several fire pits for getting to know some of the other guests and a large grassy area to play yard games. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely would consider staying there again.

Family getaway

We had a very enjoyable stay! The hosts Ron and Denise could not have been kinder. They answered all questions and went above and beyond to make sure our trip was hassle free. The cabin had everything we needed and along with the close proximity to a boat launch we were able to fish to our hearts content. Cozy quiet cabin

This small cabin was perfect for me, my wife and our Labradors. We traveled to Ely almost daily for various adventures, rented a snowmobile a few miles away, exercised our dogs on the frozen lake and enjoyed our evenings with a fire. It is what I would call a camp but that suits me just fine. The hosts are available next door if you need them. Everything worked and was clean. I would stay here again.

Awesome Surprise After A Long Drive

You really never know what to expect. After a 12 hr drive, this cabin was perfect! We are retired & travel with our 2 yr old Newfoundland. Location was beautiful & the lake made a tranquil setting. Having a dog friendly restaurant in walking distance was super convenient. We’ve been coming up to the Iron Range for years. I feel, we finally found our little house that we can call home when we return. Thank you SO much for stellar hospitality! Dan, Lenette, & Loki

We will be back! Great trip!

We couldn't have asked for a better trip to Minnesota. Roy and Denise were the most hospitable hosts. The fireside cabin was perfect for us. It gave us a place to eat, use the restroom and sleep. By no means is it anything fancy, but it's just all you need. It's incredibly quaint and very home-y feeling. We were able to put up a pack-n-play in the front bedroom, so know that is possible if needed! If you need anything at all contact Roy and Denise. They will do anything they can to get you what you need. We will absolutely be back! Thanks for making our first trip so memorable!

Cozy and Wonderful Northwoods Trip

We booked with Roy and Deneise for our family guys getaway for fishing, enjoying the lake, and outdoors. Both Roy and Deneise welcomed us like we were family and we had a great stay. Great fishing off the dock and the cabin itself was perfect for us. The owners were very responsive to getting the water heater back up and running and they took care of it when we went out for dinner. There was plenty of firewood and we enjoyed a couple of lakeview fires. The proximity to Vermillion access was convenient. We would encourage any group going to Vermillion to check out Roy and Deneise's place!

This was our second year in a row coming to Roy's Last Resort. You will not find nicer hosts than Roy and Denise. They are absolutely the best!

Cozy cabin on a beautiful lake

We really enjoyed our stay, cabin met all of our needs. I enjoyed having a dock to tie the boat to, with access of power. This came in handy with as much I needed the Trolling motor. Fishing was tough but we managed to finally find them after some searching. Owners are very friendly great communication with us from the start. We would definitely stay here again and we will be recommending it others.

Beautiful Cabin and Excellent Location!

This place was amazing! Very clean, great location on the lake, and the owners were awesome. The dock was set up appropriately with power to plug the boats in and there was plenty of space. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a beautiful place on Lake Vermillion. Chad Anderson

Peaceful and Cozy

I rented the cabin for my 3 kids and myself and it was more than enough space for us, even with my brother and parents dropping in for a night or two. It was very clean and cozy and furnished with everything we could possibly need during our stay. Denise and Roy are so accommodating and friendly. We hope to visit again next summer!

Awesome place with awesome owners.

We had such a great time. The kids asked to make this an annual trip after the first day! Denise and Roy were amazing and made us feel like old friends. We loved Buddy and Otto, but we love dogs. The fishing was great. The cabin was perfect for our family of 6. It came stocked with all we needed. The views were great. We are a young, energetic group and didn't mind the steps down to the beach. The beach was small, but great for our youngest. We hope to come back and stay again.

The cabin was purchased by two families who spent the last 25 years visiting Lake Vermilion. For a long time we've talked about owning a place on the lake and when this cabin came up for sale it was the perfect match.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Access can be really difficult on Vermilion with many cabins being located on islands or down long dirt roads. From the twin cities this cabin is only three hours away and you can pull right up to the front door with a truck. In addition it is on a fairly central bay which gives us the opportunity to fish huge portions of the lake without long boat rides. Snowmobiling in the winter is perfect because the trail is just up the road from the cabin. All of these and more are why after years of looking we purchased this cabin.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This cabin was once part of Bayview Lodge and purpose built for short term stays. The interior is all wood and has a very cozy feel to it. There is a huge stone fireplace and to read a book with the fire crackling is priceless.
