“Way Cool” is one of our 3-bedroom villas that will have you calling in back at work to extend your vacation. This refreshingly decorated piece of paradise is one that is sure to please everyone in the family and is ideal for those vacations that require a larger villa to fit the family. One king size bed in the master bedroom, one king bed in the first guest bedroom, two twin beds in the second guest bedroom, and two and 1/2 baths offer plenty of space for all members of your group. Flat screen televisions in every bedroom as well as the living room and high-speed wireless internet throughout. A 150,000 gallon outdoor oasis swimming pool complete with a waterfall cave and a bridge access island Jacuzzi is within walking distance as well as an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. There is a lot to do and see in this laid-back, small beach community but the most popular attraction is indisputably the azure colored water of the Gulf of Mexico with squeaky-clean white sand beaches. We assure you that upon your departure you will be chatting about the unforgettable time everyone experienced! Guests of PKRM enjoy complimentary excursions like Free golf, Deep sea fishing charters, Dolphin cruises, Nature Cruises and/or OWA Amusement park tickets. This was our second visit renting this home and we loved it! The beds were comfortable, the home clean, and the pool well-maintained. We enjoyed a few drinks at the Purple Parrot Bar and walked next door to the sports bar for trivia which was a blast! Would definitely return!

We loved the convenience of the proximity to the beach and restaurants. The pool was great and having the use of beach toys and gear was very handy. The house had some minor dings in the walls, and the blinds were broken on the front door, but other than that everything was awesome.

Very much enjoy the Purple Parrot neighborhood.

Love Perdido and the neighborhood. Only real complaint is that the parking on that side of the neighborhood was always really crowded. However, it’s very nice and love the place. Will likely rent this condo again in the future.

Anniversary trip 2024

This property had 3 bedrooms/ 2 and one half baths. The kitchen/ dining area was roomy and very accommodating. There was also a screened in porch. In addition to all of this there was a lagoon pool, tiki bar, live band every night, hot tub and grill near the bar. In case of bad weather there is also an inside pool and hot tub. We enjoyed it very much.

Location was great. The pool was very dirty and trash was never picked up around it. There was black mold on the ceiling in one of the bathroom. Other then those few things, we still had a good time.

Ok

The house was spacious and master bedroom mattress was very comfortable. It’s set up for a very short term stay (no paper towels, no dish or hand soap in kitchen, limited TP and trash bags, etc). There was a major bug problem in the kitchen and an obnoxious industrial fan running on water damaged Sheetrock in one bedroom blowing dust everywhere. Resort mgmt staff was not very helpful and difficult to reach. Parking close to the house was difficult at night but plentiful during the day.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo was switched twice, due to construction issues, & our only option at the Purple Parrot Resort had a lower amount of bed space & no discount. The only other option was to pay $1500 more in a different resort. There was a window unit air conditioner downstairs, & it was not adequate for the space— especially if you cook anything. There were 1/2 rolls of toilet paper in the bathrooms & roaches in the kitchen. Make sure to bring your own TP. If we’d known, we would have. You need a step ladder to get in & out of the main shower/tub, & there’s no bar for assistance getting in & out. Parking is also an issue & we were there in September. I can’t imagine how bad it must be during the busy summer months. Aside from these things, the condo was in great condition, everything is new, & the amenities in the resort are incredible. The pool & Tiki bar are the best & if it’s raining, the indoor pool is perfect. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation.
