We had a very relaxing stay at Moonlight Barn and appreciated its spaciousness and well-equipped kitchen. We particularly enjoyed dining in the garden. This is a great location for exploring the area and is close to a good selection of places to eat.

Moonlight Barn
We booked the Barn as it was in a good location to visit all our Southern relatives. We were impressed by the cleanliness and good housekeeping, also the high standard of the furnishings eg comfortable bed, good quality sofas, excellent range of kitchen equipment and crockery etc. We visited in a heatwave, so the two fans were welcome, as was the shaded area outside under the pergola. All in all, another good experience with Bolthole Retreats.

Absolutely Lovely Stay for 5 Nights
We stayed at Moonlight Barn for 5 nights during the June heatwave. While it was hot outside, the large barn windows allowed air flow and there were also two fans to help move air around. The barn is very beautiful and perfectly curated. The kitchen is well-appointed, has everything you might need, and we were left some goodies which were very thoughtful much appreciated (apple juice, crisps, bread, NA rosé, coffee and shortbread biscuits). The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were spotless. We loved seeing the bunnies and hares at dusk/dawn and listening to the birds each morning. We couldn't have asked for a better stay (minus the heatwave! Lol).
