With a newly renovated exterior, this 5,000+ square foot home is in a prime location just two blocks from the iconic Asbury Park beach and boardwalk and a short walk to the downtown popular shops, eateries and entertainment venues. With 6 bedrooms and 5½ baths our home (which includes a large main house and separate Carriage House) can sleep 14 comfortably - perfect for a large family or group of friends. With access to a full kitchen, you can stock the fridge for your stay and entertain visitors. The front porch is picturesque, with a view of the ocean… the perfect spot for post-beach refreshments.

Previously operating as an award-winning bed & breakfast, highlighted in Vogue, this gorgeous Victorian home is available for your vacation. The property is located in a premier location in Asbury, just two blocks to the beach and boardwalk and three blocks to downtown where you will find amazing restaurants and bars, shops, spas, music venues, bookshops, art galleries, and more. We offer the use of beach passes, chairs, carts, towels and umbrellas.

The Primary bedroom is one of a kind, with a whirlpool tub and sauna. The Carriage House provides some separation with a living area, full bathroom and bedroom. Off-street parking is available – 4 cars can fit in the driveway.

Everything was perfect for our daughter's wedding weekend in Asbury. The space was more than adequate, and we were all very comfortable. It was clean, well-appointed and convenient to all of our venues and for beach walks. Host was very responsive before we arrived and we had no issues during our stay. Great notes were left and everything was as she said it would be.

A really special home in a beautiful and vibrant town

We had the most wonderful time here. The host was kind, hospitable and reachable, and the house was even more beautiful than the pictures show. So close to the beach and boardwalk but also a lovely place to just hang out on the porch or in the backyard. 10/10 would recommend :)

We have been renting in AP for the last 6 years and this was our favorite house by far. Plenty of room for families and or couples to sit and enjoy. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms all nicely decorated and great for families with kids. The backyard is great as if the guest house. Location was A and the property host as well as the manager were easily accessible and gappy to assist with anything we needed.

This beautiful house was perfect for our daughter's wedding weekend. There was so much room for hair and makeup preperation on the day of while the guys could prepare separately. Good space for together times but also good for quiet time if necessary. Porch was wonderful spot. Can't wait to see the pics taken at the house.Beautiful shower in master suite but was a bit challenging for my husband. Mats or grab bars might help. Loved our stay and the memories created.

Family Thanksgiving reading

We were a family of 24 for dinner and the house complimented our needs perfectly The owner is very nice and the manager very receptive. This is the second year we did our Thanksgiving annual reunion and will be doing it for many years to come thank you to Kate and Phillip

This house is great - we were hear for a wedding and it comfortably slept 11 adults. Host was amazing - even when I booked the wrong dates 😔 helped me out in a pinch. Location to all things Asbury is perfect!!!

Nice Stay

This was a nice stay for me and my family traveling for a funeral. There were 7 of us in the house and we had plenty of space. Home is definitely of older vintage, but lots of character. Owner responsiveness was great.

Shore trip

While the reason for our trip was not a happy one it was made into a wonderful experience staying at the house. We were able to be together as a family in a beautiful home and there was room for everyone. I am looking forward to my next trip.

Wedding Weekend

Perfect location for our business retreat

404 Asbury was exactly what we needed for our company retreat. The space was well laid out, comfortable, provided ample meeting areas and breakout locations, and great individual bedrooms for all colleagues. Kate was very accommodating, helpful, and kind. Beautiful Home

We stayed 4 nights for a wedding and it was perfect for my family! There is so much room and the first night it was just my husband & myself and the master bedroom/bath was so spacious and comfortable, we could of stayed there the entire time! Very clean and comfortable. Kate and the property manager, Phil, were very kind and helpful! We would absolutely return to this beautiful home in Asbury! Mahalo!

Charming home

We got all the instructions to get inside and I love those key pad locks so you don’t have to carry keys around with you. The location is fabulous. Within about 3 blocks of all the wedding venues. Lots of common space and that porch would be ideal in the summer. With the petals falling from the trees it looked like pink snow! Thanks for a wonderful weekend

Family Thanksgiving Traditional Gathering

The property & House could not have been more accommodating. Rooms were all comfortable. The Family commented all during the week how comfortable the house was for us. We were even able to smoke one of the Turkey's on the backyard grill. Brian and Kate followed up with us and made themselves available If we needed them which we did not. Thanks for everything.

Great Home for a Large Family Gathering

We came to Asbury for our son’s wedding. We had 3 generations staying in the home. And it was awesome. Everyone had their own rooms and bathrooms. Grandma and grandpa were on the first floor, minimizing the steps they encountered. Dining room table accommodated all of us. We spent hours people watching on the large wrap around porch. It was such an amazing weekend on all the levels and this house made it perfect.

Great Multi generational house

We stayed at this beautiful Victorian for our sons wedding with our extended family and grandchildren. Overall we had 7 adults and three kids staying there which worked our nicelyfor us. Beautiful house with some lovely details like the stained glass windows. Nice location although if you have more than 4 cars, there is no free parking on the street. You need to get the asbury parking app and it’s expensive. The house worked for us but does have some quirks like the bathroom door upstairs doesn’t lock and the cottage is very small with a tiny shower so is better suited to just one or two people. There is a king bedroom on first floor which is good for anyone with mobility issues but my husband had difficulty getting in and out of tub/shower combo safely. The owner was exceptional with communication and ease of getting in the house! The property manager met us when we arrived which was very nice. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Wonderful pre-wedding stay

My now husband, his family and I stayed at this lovely home the week leading up to our wedding as a family vacation. I am from the area so I knew the location I wanted, and this was the perfect home base. We had plenty of space for 10 people and it was nice that his aunt and uncle could retreat to the carriage house when we wanted to continue the night! Kate was also great and accommodated a special request of mine, which made our week a lot easier. Amenities wise, we loved the sauna and appreciated the beach towels and chairs. The wifi was strong enough for us to work remotely, and the office in the living room was a pleasant surprise. We were able to stream everything we wanted to watch with the Roku, and while it wasn’t the most comfortable living room to fit 10 people we made it work with dining room chairs. Our only feedback is that we are big cooks and when we saw gourmet equipped kitchen, we expected a bit more. As an example we could only find one spatula and one sheet pan, which was not enough to make a breakfast of pancakes, eggs and bacon. Luckily we brought extra because we were baking cookies for the wedding, but we were a bit surprised about that. Additionally the coffee grinder had some issues so we ended up buying ground coffee. That being said, we would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this to any local friends who need additional lodging for visitors!

Amazing!

Thus house was the perfect location for our Thanksgiving holiday. There was plenty of space for our entire family. The back house was perfect for our older children. The house truly had everything we needed. And the hosts were so very responsive. Walkable to beach and downtown. Would absolutely recommend!!!

Girls Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend here, the house was modern, stylish, and clean, but also had so much charm and character and plenty of room for our group of 10; it was the perfect home base for our girls weekend and an easy walk to the beach/boardwalk and restaurants.

How do they keep this so clean?

My first impression was this property was spotless. For a house this size that is some feat! It is a big old house that has been updated. The casita in the back is super cute, and most of the rooms are decorated beautifully. The only downside is Roku, which is a pain for those of us who don't have it and don't know how to use it. However with a house this size you will probably have a guest who does. Clean, comfortable, good safe location, plenty of parking in the driveway. Recommend.
