Enjoy one of the most convenient ground-floor locations at Honua Kai in the highly sought-after interior courtyard of the Konea Tower. Konea 143 offers a spacious 1315 sq ft of living space and convenient ground-floor access to the pools, beach, and BBQs.

The oversized, adjacent outdoor living space and lawn area effectively doubles your lanai space. This suite affords the feeling of a private Maui residence, nestled in a meticulously maintained resort atmosphere.

This two-bedroom interior ground-floor suite offers a gorgeous vista of the resort and solitude from the prevailing trade winds. The suite can accommodate up to six guests in two king-size beds and one queen-size convertible sofa sleeper. For added flexibility, one of the king-size beds can be split into two XL twin-size beds at no charge.

Suite 143 affords a perfect opportunity to gather, reconnect, and celebrate. We encourage you to express your culinary creativity in the well-appointed kitchen. The space is fully equipped with stainless steel Bosch appliances and granite countertops, and we have provided every appliance and utensil to prepare the perfect meal or refreshment... just bring the ingredients.

Enjoy your meals on the spacious lanai or dine indoors in the climate-controlled air conditioning. In addition, our commercial-grade Vitamix blender lends itself well to preparing creative libations or smoothies with fresh local produce.

Take pleasure in spending your days at the resort’s three-acre aquatic playground. With four separate swimming pools, a waterslide, waterfalls, fountains, and four hot tubs, there will be no shortage of options for you and your loved ones to enjoy.

When it is time for a bite to eat, Honua Kai is home to the popular Duke’s Beach House, which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. Duke’s specializes in serving up Hawaiian-inspired cuisine using locally sourced ingredients and freshly caught seafood. Should you wish to enjoy a refreshment by the water, poolside service is available. For coffee, sandwiches, and other grab-and-go items, including beach gear and souvenirs, visit the Whalers General Store conveniently located in the Konea Tower lobby.

A state-of-the-art fitness center is located in the Konea Tower, perfect for guests looking to maintain their workout routine during their stay.

Should you feel like pampering yourself with a refreshing massage or treatment, head to the Mana Ola Spa. We had a wonderful stay at this condo! The 2-bedroom, 2-bath unit was very spacious and perfect for our family of five. Being on the ground floor in the center of the property gave us the best of both worlds—a gorgeous view of the ocean and the pool right outside our door, but far enough away from too much noise. The unit was spotless and well-maintained, and both bedrooms had comfortable king-sized beds, plus a pull-out couch, which worked out perfectly for us. It was fully stocked with everything we needed, making our stay easy and enjoyable. We’d definitely stay here again!

Property was as advertised. The lanai makes for safe and super easy access to the pool and beach. Wish the property had been stocked with a few more kitchen items, but plates, cups, etc are all there. Don’t expect niceties like chip clips, etc, though. Overall it was a great stay and we’d happily return.

We’ve been to Honua Kai several times and this unit is by far our new favorite unit. We were so comfortable and happy with how it turned out. The unit is in a great location with easy, private access out the glass slider to the pool area or front lobby and market, which is perfect when you have kids! The unit was cleaned beautifully and stocked with everything we needed. We love the Honua Kai already but this unit allowed our family to have some much needed space. Plenty of room, and we were so very comfortable! Mahalo!!

Great place, subpar property manager

This condo is amazing - you have tall ceilings, 2 huge bedrooms, and a great private lawn to enjoy. I’m docking a star because the communication with the property manager (especially Chris/Christian) was a bad experience. He was rude and overall unhelpful. Also, a HUGE minus is this unit does not come with towel service. You pay a lot of money for this place and it’s an oceanfront resort that doesn’t offer towel service. The property manager did provide beach towels for us that we had to wash ourselves. By the way, we asked our friends who own a place in Honua Kai and towel service is $50/month... it’s crazy the owner opted out of this. Overall, we did have a great experience here but a few disappointments along the way.

We had a an amazing time at Honua Kai as always. Maui Vacation rentals was responsive to minor issues immediately and we even chose to extend our stay by a week. We loved the place. Probably the best unit we have stayed in at Honua Kai. We will always be back.

Check in was so easy. Two bedroom condo was super clean. Lots of room for us, a family of five. Ground floor. Open large lanai doors and walk out to the pool or beach. Great beach walk all the way down to Whalers Village. Shopping, golf, and literall a mile of great beaches. Beach in front of hotel has a few big rocks. Just go down beach 30 yards and all sand. Restaurants, food trucks, and groceries across the street. Perfect place to stay. Also, at the last minute, management was able to facility a late check out with no fuss. Thank you.

Amazing condo and resort!

This unit was perfect for our family of 5 with enough room to spread out. Being on the ground floor with kids was extremely helpful. They were able to run around on the grass and check out the koi ponds easily. The location is perfect. Easy to get to Lahaina, but also has everything you need if you don't want to leave the resort. The pools and easy beach access were awesome. We loved our stay and will definitely be back again.

We loved staying at Honua Kai. The condo is beautiful and very comfortable the management team was awesome anytime we had an issue like a broken beach chair or coffee maker that wasn’t working they would send some over someone over almost immediately to replace it. The pool is amazing as well great addition for the property keep us adults and kids entertained all day. We liked having the grass on our lanai so our kids could run around outside in the evenings and get all their wiggles out and not have any concerned about a balcony.

The condo was way bigger than I expected it to be and was more than enough room to fit our family if 5. We were traveling with other families staying at the resort and our place was always the one we gathered at, as it was bigger, updated, and such a convenient spot. We loved being on the ground floor. It made it so easy to pop back in our room throughout the day and the kids appreciated being let loose on the lawn without dealing with elevators and stairs.

This unit is wonderful. We wanted bottom floor because of the beautiful Ohana family dinners under the pergola at evenings. The unit has one bed in each room, would be nice to have the option of twins and make them into one, but the girls shared. The unit is clean, convenient to lobby and pools and quiet. The mgt. is VERY responsive, within minutes someone is there to help if you need assistance. I would rent again from this company. Mahalo!
