Chic, bright 5 bedroom in East Hampton with Pool & Land Rover

Full home renovation including new kitchen, master bedroom, new bathrooms and outdoor shower completed in June 2020. Contact us for more recent reviews. Perfect for large groups, with five large and comfortable bedrooms and four full bathrooms. The house is fully stocked with everything you need for vacation including beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, beach blankets & towels), bikes, kid gear (high chair, crib, play kitchen, toys galore), and pool accessories (adult floats, pool toys, children's floaties, pool towels). Great for working from home.

In peak season, we provide renters with our old 2004 Land Rover. This has a resident-only ocean beach parking pass, which means you can park at all town of East hampton beaches (amagansett and Montauk included). Car is for licensed & insured drivers only; and can only be used for beach trips.

The large, fenced in backyard has a huge, heated, gunite pool with a safety, automatic retractable cover. There are lounge chairs for the pool and a hammock. The deck is right off the kitchen, and extends toward the pool, with a gas BBQ and outdoor dining furniture. New outdoor shower with changing space, located right off the deck / pool area.

Inside, the layout of the house features two wings, one with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and the other with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Finished basement has a washer/dryer, Peloton bike, couch & TV, plus a play kitchen and more toys for kids.

This home is located in the Clearwater Beach Community. Once a well-kept secret amongst locals, Clearwater beach in Springs is quickly becoming one of the most desirable locations in the Hamptons. Featuring a lifeguarded pristine bay beach and tons of recreation amenities (picnic facilities, grills, playground, kayak storage, and more.) We provide key card access to the beach for our guests.

Take in the beauty of the surrounding historic Springs area. Minutes from secluded beaches on Gerard point, the famed Jackson Pollak house and the old -style springs general store. You can also drive to the oceanside beaches and the villages of East Hampton or Amagansett in about 10 minutes.

Wonderful location and backyard oasis

Our multigenerational family had a wonderful time staying at this property. The space--with two separate wings and a finished basement for the kids--accommodated our group well. The backyard is spacious (and fenced--perfect for a dog!) and the pool is large enough to do laps and for the kids to flip around and toss balls back and forth. Best of all, the house is a quick walk or even faster bike ride to Gerard Drive, where we enjoyed swimming, running, paddle boarding, and taking in exquisite views, especially in the early mornings and evenings. We found lots of other lovely bay beaches, and spent most afternoons at Hither Hills State Park, which has picturesque ocean access, easy parking, and vigilant lifeguards. Blythe was accommodating and very responsive as we planned the trip and dealt efficiently with the minor issues (eg arranging within 24 hours for a pest control service to get rid of a hornets nest in a tree outside) that came up during our stay.

Great stay in Hamptons

We had a great stay at the house. The house is set up nicely for two families to stay, with good separation of bedrooms. It was almost like 2 homes in one, so we had a good amount of space. The pool was amazing and the yard was beautifully decorated with trees and flowers. It's a great location, 15-20 minutes from East Hampton town center and beaches. It's even a close drive to Sag Harbor. The area was nice a quiet and great for relaxation. Bylthe was incredibly responsive to all my questions before and during our stay. The house is a bit on the older side, so it's not as modern. We had an issue with the AC unit, but that got fixed quickly. The AC on one side of the house is not as strong as the other, so if you like it really cold throughout the house, this may be an issue. Also, the playroom was great for the kids. They LOVED all the toys and I enjoyed not having to pack any toys! The only downside was there was no AC in the playroom, which the kids and my husband didn't mind, but it was too hot for me!

Disgusting, Filthy, Fraud

My husband and I had the horrible misfortune of booking this property from July 8-July 17 2019. The photos posted on the VRBO website are a gross misrepresentation of the condition that the property is actually in. Due to the dirty, unsafe, and unhygienic conditions of this property, our entire family vacation was ruined. After packing and traveling for 4 hours with twin toddlers, and 6 months pregnant, my husband and I had to turn around and drive all the way home that same day. Unfortunately I am unable to post my traveler photos to truly capture the reprehensible condition of this property. However, here is a list highlighting some of what we found when we arrived: shattered/sharp stone patio at front entrance, ants crawling on food debris left out, dead leaves/garbage to either side of the front door, piles of animal poop in the front yard, rusted doors, open bottles of alcohol, moldy back deck, un-mowed lawn/weeds, old/damaged patio furniture, damaged countertops, stained interior walls, severely scratched wood floors, exposed cable wires, open windows without screens, lack of adequate air conditioning in bedrooms and basement “playroom”, generally unclean, filthy window frames/locks, dusty blinds, chipped/cracking paint, stained couches, rusty curtain rods, no cell service ...and the list goes on. The photos that are posted on the VRBO website are fraudulent, and a complete lie. My intention in posting this review is to ensure that no other family will have to live through the nightmare that we have had to. Robbed of not only money, but family memories. Vrbo can not protect you in these situations either. We made the unfortunate error of thinking they could. Stay far away from this property...it’s disgraceful.

I have never rented a property through VRBO and I have to say that the process was seamless because of the responsiveness, accessibility, and attention of the property owners. The house was beautifully decorated, warm, comfortable, and spacious. The country setting (with so many deer!!!) made you forget you had a lovely bay beach nearby. Great for the family

Plenty of room for a family with space to be together and even space for a quiet moment. The swimming pool was perfect and we spent lots of time in the water. I would definitely recommend this house for a family vacation

Perfect Hamptons Getaway

The space is decorated beautifully and was a perfect size for our family. Everything there made it easy to enjoy the house pool or visit the local beach and Blythe's recommendations were great! We'll definitely be back.

We are a married couple living in Brooklyn with our daughter. We have visited the Hamptons for years, but just recently discovered the Springs. We purchased the home after falling in love with the area.

The Springs is a quiet neighborhood in East Hampton, nestled in the woods, and once home to Jackson Pollack. Our house is on a tree lined street surrounded by friendly neighbors. We are 1/4 mile from beautiful Gerard drive—the best place for a walk or run, surrounded by water and wetlands on both sides. The Springs feels remote and like an escape from it all, while still being within a 10 minute drive to the villages of East Hampton and Amagansett.

We love hosting, and loved the layout of this home since it's so conducive for big groups. Having 5 bedrooms makes it easy to have many friends & family members stay. The pool and yard are the perfect place for big gatherings all summer long.
