100 Steps to the Beach…Pet Friendly

This comfortable family friendly home is directly across street from the beach.
Beautiful, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths fully furnished just 100 steps across from a beach access. This property sleeps 8. Beds consist of a queen in master bedroom, a queen in 2nd bedroom, double bunk beds in third bedroom. Large decks with outdoor furniture, table and umbrella. All three bedrooms are downstairs. Upstairs has open floor plan with kitchen, living and dining areas and half bath. Amazon Prime Video on all Smart TVs. Wi-Fi throughout. Under the house is a shower with hot and cold water, hose, picnic table, two comfortable chairs and grill. All linens, towels, pillows, mattress toppers are top of the line. We offer the use of boogie boards of various sizes. A 60 quart rolling cooler is also provided. We have beach chairs and an umbrella for the beach. There are beach towels located above washer. There is also a baby/pet gate and high chair and portable crib with sheets for use located in bunk bed room in the closet. There is an Echo Dot upstairs and in downstairs foyer so you can check in with Alexa and listen to music.
While smoking is allowed, it is not allowed anywhere other than under the house. Never from the decks. Disposal of cigarette butts in the ashtray provided, not in the driveway.
Kenneth Batts Park is just a little over a mile north. Enjoy playground, picnic tables, basketball court and marsh walk. Please see photos. Southsound Park is along the Intracoastal and offers a playground, picnic tables, lots of open area to walk along the water.
This home is on the beach but it is a great romantic getaway anytime during the year and great for holidays.

Perfect location for the beach/surf city restaurants and house was very clean. We were there on Labor Day weekend and loved the large tv for college football games!! House has beach gear so you don’t have to pack as much and our son loved using the boogie boards!

We had a wonderful time at this house!! It was very clean and nice when we arrived. The beds are comfortable with nice linens. It is very close to the crossover and the beach was never crowded. The outdoor shower is huge and a great feature. It’s somewhat secluded so you get really nice privacy. We definitely want to stay here again next year.

Birthday Beach Vacation

Kristin was a great host. Her home was comfortable, welcoming, and perfect for our family. It was very clean and had provisions needed for our vacation. We were celebrating my granddaughter’s 5th birthday and I had mentioned this to Kristin and she had balloons waiting for us. My granddaughter was so excited. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and our family time together.

We had an amazing trip to Surf City, NC and this home had such a positive impact on our experience. The location is excellent, the beach is literal steps from the door. Everything you could want or need is within 20 minutes driving distance. The home is incredibly comfortable and nicely appointed. It seems as though the hosts have thought of practically everything, almost any need/desire was anticipated and taken care of. Some requests I had initially were a large pot for a seafood boil, a crockpot, and a kiddie pool - all of which were on site already for guest use. There are plenty of linens and towels and a storage area packed with beach gear. We travelled with my teen/young adult children, their friends, and three dogs and the house was plenty spacious. We all had areas where we could come together to hang out, but also enough privacy. Even the couch is large enough to accommodate us all for movie nights. Kristin was very easy to get in touch with and provides tons of information and details. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

Tim, my husband of 35 years, and myself have always wanted a place at the beach. Tim's family spent many summer vacations and Thanksgivings on Topsail creating so many memories for his family as well as ours including our three children.
We have been empty nesters for about 10 years and decided we could take this challenge. I am the designated property manager (Kristin) and am thoroughly enjoying making this not only a home for our family but for all we share this home with.

Why they chose this property

We really love the south end of Topsail Island which is included in Surf City. We are just a short distance from all the activities 2 miles south of the traffic turn about.
We love the privacy the grove of holly trees give that the house is nestled in. Not only does this provide privacy but it also provides protection from the elements. The house sits off the road and so it is very quiet and relaxing.
We also feel it is a great property for anytime during the year not just summer.

What makes this property unique

This is a family home. Please treat it with care. That being said, much care is taken to create a beautiful, eclectic atmosphere as well as superior comfort as I only purchase the most comfortable bedding for all rooms.
Also, an Echo Dot in the living area and downstairs foyer makes asking about the weather, etc. from Alexa an added convenience.
