Island Styled, Family-friendly, Pet Friendly, Peaceful Beach Cottage

Hidden treasure is an island style beach cottage situated amongst beautiful old oak trees. The house is located on a quite lane about a block long that has the ocean at one end and the sound at the other. Though we are on an interior lot, it is just steps (approximately 80 yards) to either the private beach access or to the small ramp that you have access to the sound from. The cottage itself was fully renovated in 2008-- the interior was gutted and the entire space was redone. It has an open floor plan for the living and kitchen area and all areas look out to the trees. A screened porch and a rear deck can both be accessed from the main living area. A deck lines one side of the house that leads from the screened porch to the covered front porch. Sitting on the screened porch is like being in a tree house-- branches arch gracefully all around you providing a pathway for squirrels and birds to bound from one to another. You can hear the ocean most days from this spot-- it is relaxation at its best. The cottage is about 900 square feet but feels larger because of the open floor plan and raised ceiling height in the living room. The floors are tile through out-- which is easy to clean. The two bedrooms provide sleeping for four-- one has a queen bed the other has a full size. Again it is hard to describe how wonderful it feels waking up to the sound of birds and the ocean and seeing the tree branches surrounding you. Totally relaxing!!
