We offer more that just a pretty home to rent for vacation. We offer a superb location in downtown Sandusky. Two blocks from the water minutes to every hot spot in downtown. And trust me our downtown is Hottttt!!!!!! Our downtown has been voted the #1 Coastal Downtown in America by USA TODAY!!
It has such a cool coastal vibe, you're going to just love it.

This beautiful beach themed house is just 1 short mile to Cedar Point. This home is very large with room to roam and boasts two staircases. We've redone all the bedrooms in light and airy colors. Our incredible Beach themed home features 8 bedrooms (one on the main floor).One King, Eight Queens, One Double and one pull out futon. The forever water heater means you'll never run out of hot water....take a nice hot, long shower if you want to. If you like restaurants, museums, coffee houses, night spots, theaters and antique shops you will love staying in this location.

Private parking for three/four in the back with additional parking directly in front of our home for four/five additional vehicles. We offer dining room seating for 20 with six additional seats in the kitchen. We've also added a privacy deck and eating area for entertaining in the back.....palm trees...white lights....you get the picture. Come stay in a extra large home where generations can come together as a family and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Lake Erie beckons just a short walk away with the boat launch right downtown. Many beautiful parks and play areas line our waterfront. You'll love strolling through our beautiful downtown. We offer a brand new ax throwing bar (fun) an all new indoor mall with new eating establishments. Come enjoy our lush gardens and you can even visit the Carousel Museum to enjoy a ride on their indoor carousel from Cedar Point long ago. Our downtown caters to all levels of tastes in cuisine.

We offer tons of waterfront dining, café style coffee shops and incredible pizzeria's. We have something for everyone. We are a short drive away from the new Cedar Point Sports Complex as well. We look forward to having you stay for a week or a month. Everyone loves vacationing together!

Great family vacation

Very spacious, clean Victorian home, everyone had their own bedroom, centrally located to downtown area of Sandusky...Jeff and Angie were very hospitable hosts, we had a wonderful time.

Great location and lots of special touches

Our family celebrated two college graduations and had a great time! The owner really goes above and beyond to add special touches throughout the house. The location is fantastic to the ferry, waterfront and downtown nightlife. Watching the sunset at Dockside Cafe was one of our favorite spots. You will be sure to enjoy your stay!

Great place for Surprise 50th bday

My husband is a rollercoaster fan. So for his 50th birthday I want to surprise him with Cedar Point and Family and Friends. This place was great plenty of room for the 17 of us and close to the park.

Volleyball team stay

This was the perfect spot for a group of 5 girls and their parents to stay (and we could have fit more). Only a 5 minute drive to Cedar Point and an 10 minute drive to the sports center where we attended a volleyball tournament. We were also in walking distance to the downtown restaurants and night life. We would definitely stay here again!

Family reunion

This house was a perfect place for our family reunion. We had 15 staying there, ages from 7 to 73. The bedroom & bathroom on the first floor worked well for my brother-in-law who does not do well with stairs. Plenty of things to do in the area for all ages. Many places/things to do within walking distance of the house. I would definitely come back here again.

It is bigger than you think

Alot of room for family get together. We all agreed much better than staying at hotel where we all have to go to our separate rooms. Very clean,spacious,and quiet. Located downtown and walking to the lake and the pier

Girls’ Getaway

Beautiful vintage property with plenty of space/bedrooms for all. Was perfect for our group of longtime friends to spend time together. Easy to find. Convenient to waterfront, downtown attractions and Cedar Point. Easy to get to Marblehead and Kelly’s Island

Exceeded expectations

Wonderful house with tons of character and charm. We had plenty of room and the special touches were very much appreciated. We could safety walk to restaurants and the water. Home was clean and nicely decorated. Host communicated check in and check out. I would definitely stay here again! So many of the little things I thought I would have to make a store run for were already there allowing more time to enjoy vacation!

Perfect wedding weekend

This house was perfectly suited for our home base for our son’s wedding. We were just a few blocks from all the venues- rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception. Perfect in every way!

Great home for a large family reunion

We really enjoyed out week end at this very large home. There were large gathering and eating spaces, both indoor and out, to go along with the sleeping spaces for 18 people. The home is located on a quiet street just across from a park with a fountain and within blocks of the waterfront. The home was clean and well appointed, and the owners were friendly and helpful.

Cedar Point trip

It was a great space for our group of kids/parents; plenty of beds/rooms to separate adults away from kids etc. Weather wasn't great and we were busy at Cedar Point, but would have loved to enjoy the outdoor deck and walk to downtown! Maybe next time.

Perfect family reunion weekend

Our family loved our stay in this cute and comfortable home. Plenty of space for the 19 of us to hang out together - playing games, watching movies, cooking and eating meals - and to retreat from the large group too. We enjoyed Sandusky - walked through the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning (just steps from the front door!), and the waterfront park a few blocks away. We drove to a beach for swimming, only about 25 minutes away. We would all love to stay here again!

Xmas with family

We had a wonderful stay with all our families. They decorated the house for Xmas, the tree was perfect. The kids played with the connect four for hours. There was plenty of room for visiting extended family on Xmas day. We would highly recommend this house. Thank you, Steve & Mary Lenke

Family Thanksgiving

Family get together for Thanksgiving. House was big and comfortable. Great location close to downtown. Walked to Small City Taphouse for AWESOME craft beer list (including New Holland Dragon's Milk Oatmeal Cookie and 79 more great beers!). Noble Axes (axe throwing) was more fun for the family along with all the Christmas lights lit up around the park. Had a great time and a great stay at the house.

Great location, that needs “tweaking”

The front yard lacked weekly mowing and shrubs were overgrown. ( didn’t look like picture) House was beautifully decorated and beds were comfy. When the washer and dryer was being used, the circuit breaker popped at times. Carpets and rugs throughout the house were heavily soiled. Cleanliness could be improved. But if you’re looking for a good location? This home is within Walking distance to the pier, jet express and wonderful restaurant’s.

Perfect weekend getaway!

Visited Sandusky with a group of families to celebrate a birthday at Cedar Point. Was very lucky to find this property available for the long holiday weekend - it was perfect! The beds and pillows are comfy (especially after a day spent walking around CP!), the dining spaces & kitchen were very accommodating, the kids loved that the rooms had their own tvs and all of us loved how spacious and charming the house was, including the back patio which offered a wonderful ambiance. The location was amazing - we walked downtown to restaurants, shops, parks, piers and playgrounds, and also found a splash pad nearby. Communication with the hosts was easy, they were very accommodating and their recommendation for a local baker was spot on! We had a lovely time and hope to make it back again!

Awesome house! Great Location!

I absolutely loved this house. Its an extremely old house that has been updated to accommodate a large group. So much character in this home. My entire family (10 adults & 5 kids) loved the home. We ended up having three bedrooms unused because we didn't need them (we had some people cancel on joining us). There is a bedroom on the main floor next to the dining room that went unused. There is a bedroom on the 2nd floor that you have to walk through to get to the other rooms or go downstairs and back up the stairs in the back of the house and we left that room open. That room would have been fine for kids most likely, but we didn't need it. All of the rooms have window AC units. There are 3 full bathrooms that accommodated the group. The location was absolutely perfect for walking into town. We would stay at this house again and again if we were to come back!

July 4th 2023 - Sandusky, Ohio

The property was as listed, however there were so details that were not clear. Only 1 bathroom and 1 bedroom on ground floor. It was a double bed in a small room. Upstairs has 7 bedroom but two of them were throughways to the other end of the upstairs hall. One upstairs bathroom was the same. This is not a good floor plan upstairs and might not be code. Great location for downtown Sandusky to see and do the local events. Jeff the Owner was easy to communicate with. Lots of knick-knack decorations, but too many for little kids running around. Almost no closets. Dresser are cheap IKEA type furnishings that are falling apart. Had to repair several during my stay.

Awesome stay in Sandusky

"The blue house" in Sandusky (as our grandchildren talk about it" was perfect for our family vacation. There were 19 of us all together, with children ranging from 2-14, and 10 adults and we all fit, leaving one bedroom open! The 2 dining rooms were a super feature--one for adults and one for the children. We have rented many houses for these vacations and it is truly rare to find a house with this much seating for meals. The kitchen was also probably the best equipped we have ever had--even a waffle maker, which we never had a chance to use, lots of kids dishes and silverware, and everything else you could imagine needing. The only downside of the kitchen was the small dishwasher, so with a large group we needed to run it often and finally resorted to using paper products. We all loved being a block from the water and the bike and walking path there. The park across the street is also beautiful and was a wonderful backdrop for family pictures. We also spent an hour or so one morning in the Sandusky library for a change of pace for the kids. It is a beautiful old building, and has a great children's section. The East Harbor State Park (about 8 miles away) has a beautiful beach that was not crowded and very family-friendly because of the shallow water extending way out. We loved spending time on the back patio, reading and talking with one another--so peaceful and comfortable. Jeff was immediately available for any questions. We made so many great memories.

Beautiful, Comfortable Home near Lake Erie

Upon our arrival we were immediately impressed by the size and welcoming feeling of the home. Although larger than expected, this home fit the bill for our group of six, having a bedroom with comfortable beds for each of us, with a room to spare, and the several areas to gather, either for meals at the dining table(s), a movie in the living room or drinks on the patio, so we never felt cramped. We shared the bathrooms, one of which was like a "Jack & Jill" and we had plenty of towels and hot water for showers. The kitchen was well equipped with the flatware, utensils and appliances we needed with a complimentary assortment of snacks that was a nice surprise. We especially enjoyed the blender for frozen margaritas! And the bachelor of the group even did some laundry! The home is centrally located and walking distance to the lake plus there is a Kroger's market within 2 miles and a CVS close by which made grocery shopping and getting other necessities convenient. We did not take enough advantage of the "Downtown" area, except for one night at the beginning of "Bike Week 2018", which if you're familiar, is one huge street fair and party. A few of us had been to Cedar Point with our families, so no roller coasters on this trip! We did rent a pontoon boat locally for some cruising and lunch on Lake Erie, however we mostly spent our days sightseeing. The Rock & Roll and Football Hall of Fame(s) were within driving distance and we managed to catch an Indians/Astros baseball game, we also visited the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI, but to be honest we mostly enjoyed our evenings "at home", with all the comforts of home.
