Downtown villa special for families and friends getaway. It has a private plunge pool, BBQ area, 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, laundry area, fully equipped kitchen, private parking (1 spot) with electric gate, air conditioning throughout the house (Bedrooms, living room and kitchen areas). Property centrally located so you can enjoy walking to downtown (3 blocks) and just 5 to 30 minutes drive to all main attractions in the area.

Air conditioning throughout the house (Bedrooms, living room and kitchen areas), you will be able to relax and cool off after your daily adventures or keep it cool if you want to hang out in the house.

You will have a supermarket just 1 block away open everyday from 8 AM to 9 PM with everything you need during your stay.

Excellent property just a few blocks from downtown La Fortuna where you will find bars, restaurants, supermarkets, souvenirs shops and much more.

Great central location to all excursions, walking distance to shops/cafes. Being downtown you will get city and neighbor noises… like the neighbor’s dog (quite vocal). It was great to have A/C and the washer/dryer. All and all, great stay.

The property is very nice. AC in bedrooms was great. Eight of us stayed fro five nights and had a good time. The pool was very refreshing after the many hikes. Short couple blocks to main part of town. We would stay here again

In the heart of lafortuna. This isn't a 5 star mansion but is a great home at a great price family of 5 used it for a jumping off point for area activities. We would stay again if in the area

Spacious and well-situated, just a couple of blocks from the downtown area and centrally located for all of the region's outdoor activities. The patio/pool area was great for unwinding after a busy day. Mario hooked us up with some great activities and restaurant recommendations. Will stay here again if we return to La Fortuna.

Great location. Place was well maintained, clean and very comfortable. Would stay again. If you have small children, ask about the glass door to the private back courtyard as is didn't stay closed and there's a pool. Which means you have to lock it with a key to go in and out every time. Inconvenient to use the courtyard and easy to forget.

We had an awesome time in our short stay in La Fortuna. This home was great for the kids and there was plenty of room to spread out. We wish we had more time to spend exploring the area. We didn’t need to use the apartment because there was plenty of space in the main house. Would recommend this home, especially for families!

La Fortuna

Our stay in La Fortuna was very nice. We had to change our travel dates due to a snow storm and the host allowed us to make changes. Mario and Carlos both gave great recommendations for restaurants, taxi drivers and excursions. House had lots of room for everyone to have their own space both inside and outside. Property was in walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend.

Our stay was perfect for our family. The location was nice and convenient for getting around town. The only drawback was having to lock/unlock the back door to access the fourth bedroom. Also: forth bedroom bed was hard and worn out! I placed the one blanket under the sheets for padding, as the springs were hard. (More blankets would have been nice. The house was very clean, located in safe Neighborhood, only minutes walk to park shopping, etc. Would have been nice to have a comfortable lounging area for family to visit together: ie: couches instead of chairs. Over-all great place to stay to explore La Fortuna.

Decent place with some issues

This was a great location and the place was big for a group of 7. However there was only one bathroom on the main floor and the toilet did not flush well. We had to dump the toilet paper in a basket causing an unbearable smell all the while. The place lacked basic amenities like an iron (which is a given in USA). This was minor incovinience, All in all decent place.,

Beautiful place with one caveat

Our group loved the house and the location. We were within walking distance of everything. Got to see so much of La Fortuna. Other groups we came with were jealous. Just one strange thing of note. The house is not completely closed off from the elements. The security door in the carport doesn't have an actual door on the inside. Not a deal breaker, but wasn't completely clear from the listing. A/C is only effective in the bedrooms. Would definitely stay again.
