Arenal Family Home - Families & Friends Getaway

Excellent property located 1 mile from downtown La Fortuna, the house is a great option for families traveling together, friends and couples. There is 5 bedrooms with A/C, also a central unit located in the living room and kitchen area will keep you fresh and cool after the daily adventures and 3.5 bathrooms. Besides the swimming pool area surrounded by beautiful gardens with tropical flowers, great view of the Arenal Volcano from the house.

A large house located just 2 minutes away from town (Driving), located in a very secluded, private and secure neighborhood; where you can relax and enjoy the comfort that all areas of the house give you. There are 5 rooms so is an excellent option for family meetings or friends meeting, even we can a plan an event in the open areas. You will have everything you want taking this property for you next Costa Rica vacation.

Bedroom distribution:
Room 1: King sized bed, bunk bed single (2 single beds) and full bathroom.
Room 2: Double bed, single bed, bunk bed single (2 single beds) and full bathroom.
Room 3: Double bed and single bed
Room 4: Double bed and single bed
Room 5: Bunk bed - Two single beds
***Room 3, 4 and 5 are in the second floor and share 1 full bathroom.

***Maximum people staying in the house is 17, however the base rate per night is for 10 people, each additional person will have an extra cost of US$25 per person per night so please add the total of people staying to get the correct amount to pay.

Option 1: Guiselle Homemade Cook, Guiselle's little restaurant is just 30 seconds walk from the house in the same property; she has a little restaurant where she serves different local dishes, you can order different dishes or just one for everyone. Hi my name is Sergio Brenes I’m a chef with over 15 years of experience. I fell in love with cooking thanks to my grandma. I started Nativo Chef 2 years ago so you can enjoy local quality food from your Airbnb.

Breakfast includes coffee, orange juice and fresh fruit from $35. Lunch and dinner are both 3 courses with a cocktail included from $80. We have kids, veggie and gluten free options.

We also have a bartender service, cocktail classes and cooking classes. We’re happy to work on special menus for you.

We’d love you to experience and enjoy Costa Rican food and it would be a pleasure to serve you.

Our stay in La Fortuna was wonderful and this property had an amazing location! The house is as shown. It’s not newer but it was clean! The pool and outdoor area was amazing! We were able to walk into town as well as to the rope swing (10 mins) and zip lining (15 mins). Overall, a great experience!

We stayed here with our family of 13 adults and one child. It was perfect!! There was plenty of space, a/c, kitchen, laundry, a pool, and a large kitchen table we could all fit at for meals. The host offered us a menu for an authentic dinner cooked in, which we decided to do on our last night there. It was well worth the cost! It was the best meal we had the entire trip! The hosts were friendly, kind and the house was amazing. If we ever get to Costa Rica, we will definitely be staying here again!

This property was amazing! Our family enjoyed the privacy and yet closeness to town. The pool was fun for the kids and outdoor space amazing to relax after a day of exploring. Internet was great allowing for remote work.

This is a very beautiful property that nicely and comfortably accommodated our group of 8 adults. It's spacious, pool area is great, 13 minute walk to town and shorter for a couple close restaurants. We felt very safe! Giselle is a lovely host and we accepted the option for an on-site meal for a couple of our lunches.

Great place on the edge of town!

The house was great, we managed to fit 13 people without much issue! Location was great, only a minute from downtown La Fortuna. The outdoor space was amazing, our kids basically lived at the pool and we enjoyed cooking on the open grill under the covered portico. The house was super clean, we would definitely recommend staying here if you need a large house close to town.

Absolutely perfect place for a large family of 11! Giselle cooked breakfast for us the first day. The home is close enough to walk to a grocery store, some restaurants and a great swimming hole! We enjoyed the pool, the hammocks and watching the sloths and macaws in nearby trees. We felt safe the entire time. I would highly recommend this place!

Our names are Eder Cruz & Allen Murillo, two good friends that have more than 15 years of experience working in tourism in La Fortuna, we grew up La Fortuna and decided to work together creating Home Vacations La Fortuna on May 2015, our main goal: Make things easier and simple for our guest.
On 2018 we create The House of Tours to provide our guests the best experiences during their stay in La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area, we have the best tours and transportation services/rates in the area.

We manage/own about 40 properties in La Fortuna, we have a wide variety of options: private bedrooms, apartments, cabins, homes and villas up to 16 people some of them with private pool, hot tubs, nice opens areas, creeks nearby and more facilities. Over this years we have met lot of people which is one of the best things about working in tourism, every day we work very hard to make our guest happy so our business has been very successful thanks to the good reviews that we get from them.

Adding The House of Tours we hire Alonso Esquivel which is a expert tour guide and he works with us in the office so we can offer anything you need in La Fortuna, we have an office in downtown La Fortuna where we meet our guest so you don’t have to go around looking your property just get to our office and we will guide you to your place.
