Welcome to our home! We’re Jesse and Renee, and we designed and built this house in 2017 with the dream of sharing our love of Southeast Alaska with travelers. Our goal was to create a comfortable, private base camp where guests can explore the same mountains, waters, and trails that first captured our hearts.
Jesse first came to Alaska as a summer intern in 2004, filling his days with hiking, fishing, and exploring Juneau’s endless outdoor opportunities. After multiple vacations back to the state, an unexpected job opportunity allowed us to make Juneau our permanent home. We’re thrilled to welcome you to our little slice of Alaska.

It’s quiet and peaceful, giving you that “Alaska wilderness” feel, yet only 20 minutes from downtown and just a few minutes from Auke Bay, hiking trails, and beaches.
