Enjoy this retro beach cottage on peaceful Dauphin Island, Al. This two bedroom cottage is located one block from the Gulf of Mexico beach on a connecting street with minimal traffic that provides easy access to the Gulf beaches. At the end of Raphael Semmes on the Gulf Side of the Island there is a public walkover that allows convenient access to the beach. There are beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico and Mississippi Sound from several rooms and the large deck and screened porch.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a view of the water. There is ample seating including a large bar and dining table. The master bedroom has a Queen bed with a private bath with views of the Gulf and the lagoon. The second bedroom has a double bed and access to the second bath. The living room/kitchen overlooks the Mississippi Sound and the lagoon. The screened porch faces the West and offers a relaxing place to watch the sun set into the water.

The concrete drive provides parking space for boats or an RV and there is covered parking under the house. There is a fish cleaning sink and outdoor shower under the house as well.

This home is located on the North side of the West end of the Island in a residential area. The traffic is minimal and provides a great place for taking walks and bike rides. It is a short walk to the beach and there is a wagon under the house to transport chairs and ice chest to the beach. Some small pets are allowed for an additional charge and must be pre-approved, please call for details.
