I highly recommend staying at Sol mate in Dauphin Island. The house is beautiful and set up well. There is a bedroom and bath downstairs on the first floor. A spiral staircase leads to the top floor with the other bedrooms and bath. The house is not a “ tiny home” per se but has the type of feel. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out over the bay. The home has a wonderful outdoor space. The home is central to everything Dauphin Island offers. The host was wonderful and communicated well and answered all of my questions right away.

The house was beautiful! Water at your toe tips, from the dock. We enjoyed our stay so, so much. View of the bay at sunset was gorgeous. Will definitely book again with small group.

Nice view on the Mississippi sound side.We mistakenly went to the wrong house a couple of houses before the house we rented. They look similar. We couldn't get in the house (because we were at the wrong house) and contacted the owner of our rental. She was prompt in responding and helping. Long story short, she felt bad because we were waiting to have someone help us get into the house, even though it was our fault we were at the wrong house, and offered to let us stay longer. She didn't need to do that but she wanted to be sure we were happy. We were def pleased with our stay and her customer service. We will definitely be back and rent this house again! Very cute and had everything we needed.

Sol-Mate was absolutely our favorite of all the places we have stayed on the island. Convenient for fishing with EVERYTHING within reach. Walkways/ porches all the way around. Beach house. And a gorgeous sunset every afternoon. We did not want to leave. And will definitely be back soon. Owners were available for any questions or concerns which were only about dates for the future. No issues at all with our stay.

Sol-Mate was the perfect place for us to stay while celebrating our anniversary. It is clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The outdoor area was very nice with more amenities for gathering, watching the sunset, fishing and relaxing. It is close to restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood was quiet and a great place to walk our dog. Communication with our host was flawless as well.We highly recommend this rental and look forward to returning.
The sunsets were spectacular.
We saw so many pelicans, doves, cranes and even dolphins on our last morning.
You can see the sun rise from the front door if you’re an early riser.

We had such a great experience! Check-in was easy and communication with the host was above and beyond. They were super helpful with any question we had and even brought propane for the grill when it ran out on Easter! We would recommend Sol-Mate to anyone interested and will be looking to book again.
