Open your patio doors and you are steps away from Destin's beautiful sugar white sand beach and emerald blue waters! This FIRST FLOOR, BEACHFRONT condo was REMODELED in March of 2018. You will love the easy access to the beach and pool, along with the beautiful front lawn that is perfect for flying kites and letting the kids play. Grill up some of your favorite meals on the best BBQ pits in the world, while watching the gorgeous beach sunsets.
This one bedroom, 1.5 bath Windancer Condominium complex is one of Destin's few remaining low-rise complexes. Windancer 106 is located in a quiet location, with a private beach and only 4 stories of units. Fewer units means you wont have to battle the crowds while trying to enjoy the beach.
We have provided all the amenities you'll need during your stay including a fully equiped kitchen with a coffee pot AND keurig, linens, free wi-fi, cable and FREE BEACH SERVICE from March 1- October 31. The free beach service includes one umbrella and 2 beach chairs that are set up for you daily. We also have patio furniture for you to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Aside from it's beautiful beaches Destin also offer's plenty of other fun and relaxing activities. Shop till you drop at Silver Sands Factory Outlet located one eighth of a mile from your condo. Enjoy a delicious dinner at one of Destin's popular local restaurants including Harbor Docks and The Back Porch. Take the family out for a day of fun for golf, deep sea fishing, Big Kahuna's water park, jet skiing and dolphin cruises just to name a few!

This rental was perfect for our family. From the hideaway bunkbeds that my kids loved so much, a fully stocked kitchen, (had ice) and steps away from the pool and beach! It also had its own fan in the bedroom. They really made it feel homey and VERY clean! Just where I want to stay. Most hotels are not this clean, this was my kind of clean! We truly enjoyed it!

Vacation 2024

Our stay was fantastic, Lucy responded very quickly with some of my crazy questions. The condo was just as described along with the view, the beach, and pool were right out the back patio door. Would love to stay again.

Miramar Beach Condo

This is a nice little condo right on the beach. It is clean, but a bit older. The couch has some issues making it uncomfortable and the bunk beds are in the hall if you have children.

Favorite place to stay!

The condo is very clean and comfortable. Lucy is amazing and sends info well in advance. She has everything you will need for your stay. Clear instructions for checking in/out. Our favorites are the view of the ocean from the comdo, short walk to the beach, a few steps from the pool, and a short drive to all the shopping you need! Our favorite place to stay!

Windancer 106

Third time staying at Windancer but first time in 106. Lucy is absolutely the sweetest. Our family enjoyed our stay so much we booked same exact vacation again for next summer.

Wonderful host and wonderful Condo!

Lucy is wonderful to work with; a perfect host. The condo is located on the beach; walk out the back door on to the sand. It was spotless and well appointed. It is located near the elevator and the pool but we heard nothing inside the condo. The beach set up was an added bonus; no worry about crowded beaches and fighting for a spot near the water. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect family getaway

Our family of 5 stayed for spring break. 1st floor access, very close proximity to the pool and grill. Steps away from the beach. Master bed was so comfortable. Only con is the master bedroom was right next to the elevator and the people above us were very noisy. Thankfully they usually settled before 11pm. Overall it was a great stay on a beautiful beach. We will be back.

Great property!

We absolutely loved being on the ground floor! This location is right off the boardwalk to the beach, and directly across from the entrance to the pool, leaving a great view of the ocean, and even some grass for the kids to throw the football back and forth on! It was great being able to go right out the back door onto the beach, which also cut down on tracking sand through the condo! I think I’m spoiled to the ground floor now! My only suggestion would be to have a way to lock the back door from the outside while at the beach, but it was easy enough just to have one person go around the front and open the door. I love the smaller condo feel vs a high rise now, lots of room on the beach for everyone and never any lines at the showers/hoses. The building is in a great area, and the crew on the beach was so friendly and helpful! A++!

Superb location

My family loved everything about our stay from May 27-June 1, 2018. We especially loved being able to walk right out the door to the beach, pool, grill, and parking lot. It was all even closer than the photos appear. The interior and the master bed was incredibly comfortable and clean. We appreciated being able to do laundry and the well stocked kitchen that had all the gadgets, cookware, dishes, tupperware and everything we needed to cook. The grocery store, Winn-Dixie is just a ~3-minute drive (close enough to walk) and there are loads of shopping and dining options around the condo although we stayed on the beach the entire time. Lucy was immediately responsive to text and phone calls when we had questions ad we were happy to be able to check in early when the cleaning crew was done! Overall, other guests staying in the building were quiet and respectful so noise was minimal and our daughter's sound machine drowned out the sound of people walking past the master window or upstairs (to be expected in a condo so it didn't bother us at all). We definitely plan/hope to stay here again next time we're in FL and cannot wait to visit again!

A beach view we had hoped for & got more!

We wanted a beach front view & access to the beach without walking a long distance. We got this and more! We were here 10 minutes & saw a family of dolphins swim by while standing in the living room looking out the door. We saw dolphins every day. Every morning the view was breathtaking. You can step out of this ground level condo to sit for the most gorgeous sunsets. The beach is literally right out the door! The pool is just steps away also. We are beach bums so this place is exactly what we were looking for. It is so convenient to go to the beach & back to the condo in just a couple of minutes. Restaurants & shopping takes minutes to get there. Lucy, the owner, is absolutely amazing! She is an absolute pleasure to work with & made our experience a pleasurable one. Her hospitality is genuine & made sure our stay was wonderful! The condo was just perfect for us. It is comfortable, clean, & nicely maintained. I loved the beach themed decor! It had everything we needed for our stay. We have found the perfect place & will be returning soon!

Perfect location for relaxing family getaway

Perfect location for relaxing family getaway. I don't like going to beaches and being surrounded by people. While those high-rise condo units and hotels may have more luxurious amenities, you have to share them with hundreds of people. I chose Windancer because of the smaller size (less people). The unit I stayed in was absolutely perfect. Unit is on the first floor with an unobstructed view of the beach. I could've spent my entire time on the patio just looking out at the ocean and I would've been happy that's how nice the view is. The unit is also right next to the pool and only a few steps away from the bbq grilling area. The owner, Lucy, was extremely easy to get a hold of and communicate with. There were zero issues with the unit during our stay. Beds were comfortable, linens were clean, and the entire condo complex overall was pretty quiet. For anyone traveling by car and bringing some beach equipment, this unit is perfect. Beach service includes one umbrella and two chairs, but it's only until 5pm. However, that ends up being a good thing for anyone that brings some of their own beach equipment. Most of the people there fly in, so after 5 the beach is nearly empty. During summer hours, that's easily 3 hrs of having the beach nearly to yourself until the sun sets. I highly recommend staying in this unit.

Could use some updates in Kit and Baths.

The owner claims this unit was updated in 2018 but could use a few more updates, especially in the kitchen and bathrooms. It is in a great location near shopping and restaurants. The only negative is the cleanliness of the unit. There were wet spill stains near the nightstand in the bedroom and the kitchen cabinets were grimy and sticky.

Over paid.

Decor was fine, washer and dryer newer. Condition of (chipped) flooring, trim, countertops , slider curtains were poor and are need of updating and some work such as fresh paint on all baseboards and trim. Also Bathroom vanities need updating. This unit is very worn! For the price of the stay , one would expect a updated and immaculate unit!

With that said- as you can see from my many wonderful reviews that most people are very happy with our unit. It’s clean and comfortable and I have many return guest despite the lack of fancy upgrades. My prices are in line with other units of its caliber. If you look at pricing of other fancy, more updated units, it’s much higher than my prices. I am very transparent with what my unit has to offer as you can see from the photos. Windy but fun

The wind blew very hard all weekend but it was gorgeous. We all had a blast despite the wind and it is perfect for a family of five. We hope to come back soon.

overall a great property and even better location

We absolutely loved the location of this property. Living room furniture was not in the best condition but was definitely functional (didn't use the pull out couch). You can clearly tell it is a rental property. Master Bedroom and bunk for my son worked out great for our family and were in great condition and comfortable. There was a rainstorm that happened prior to our arrival and flooding of the road made it difficult to drive in/out. We were told residents were unable to leave for 2 days. Something needs to be done to fix the drainage. The location is definitely the star of this property. We will definitely return for another visit to Miramar Beach!!

Thank you for your review. New living room furniture is on order. Due to covid, it is taking months for orders to arrive. Unfortunately, during your stay, we had the most rain fall since 2014. The entire area was flooded. Windancer was not the only complex with guest who were unable to leave. I’m glad you enjoyed the location of Windancer. It’s a hidden gem! Once people discover it, they don’t want to stay anywhere else.

Perfect stay!

You can’t beat the easy access to the beach and pool at Windancer! Having a ground floor condo was perfect. We really liked the fact that this was a smaller condo complex, as there was always room on the beach and in the pool. It had a laid back family feel. The owner was very responsive to all communication, which we really appreciated. I would note that you will need to buy things like toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, dishwasher tabs, etc. They give you enough to get started but not to last a week. (2 rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towel, 2 dishwasher tabs, 2 trash bags). We plan to return!

AMAZING

This was our first time to Miramar Beach and we will absolutely be returning. This unit was perfect for our family. It was clean, beautiful, and location was perfect. The unit had everything we could have needed and more. I love that it was ground level and walked out right to the pool. It’s literally feet from the beach with a gorgeous view. The beach isn’t overly crowded plus you get the beach service with chairs and umbrella. The beach is the most beautiful beach I’ve been to in America. Clear warm water and white soft sand. Everything you need is in close proximity - grocery, restaurants, souvenirs, family activities. We will for sure be returning. Thank you!
