An absolutely stunning villa with exceptional pool and leisure facilities. We took our children and grandchildren to celebrate my husband's special birthday and had a lovely week. The property is beautifully presented. The swimming pool, pool table and table tennis were a big hit and with a BBQ and fully equipped outside dining area we didn't feel the need to venture out much. The local sandy beach is lovely and safe with an abundance of restaurants along the promenade and the old town of Javea is well worth a visit.
Third time rental, still as good as ever.
Still one of the best villas we've rented in Javea. A few recent upgrades include new fitted kitchen and electronic pool cover so you can keep the pool nice and warm if that's your thing. Still very comfortable and a short-ish walk to Javea or a very quick drive!
Fabulous villa !!!!!
Amazing villa, very clean inside and outside,on arrival we were greeted by danny who showed us around, great touch to have some cava and raspberries ready in a glass for us, plus a wonderful hamper. There is a filter tap in the kitchen to use so no need for bottle water. pool table, table tennis and fuse ball, plus a Gaming set, great for all to enjoy. Good Netflix and amazon prime to watch on those rainy days. Good bbq it has a gas one and a coal one so which Eva you prefer. The pool was nice slightly warm, though we went the end of Oct so the weather wasn’t brilliant. the large tree shaded most of the pool. Lovely garden well kept. The walk to the restaurant was 15 mins. There isn’t a path you walk on, it’s like a cycle lane along the road, fine to walk down but we got a taxi back each time as it’s pitch black walking and no lighting to dangerous for us, taxis where cheap though at 6-8 euros. We found the old town where the port is to be better, seems to be more shops and only an extra 5 mins in the taxi or you can walk to it. We had a great break in a luxury villa. P.s There is no Aldi at the end of the Villa road, it’s a bit of all sorts shop, but worth a nosey. Supermarkets are quite close by.
We had a brilliant holiday. The property is even more beautiful than the photos. Very spacious, good size swimming pool and lots of little extras to keep everyone entertained. The kitchen and outside BBQ were great. Brilliant TV with every channel you need to keeps kids entertained. Highly recommend it and we’d definitely go back. Excellent communication with the owner Gary and Danny was really helpful. Thank you both.
Second stay of 2018, still one of the best rentals in Javea.
The title says it all really, we decided to come back for a second stay after first staying here in May. The villa and grounds are kept in immaculate condition by Danny and his team. Excellent communication from Gary and Danny. Their aim is to ensure you have the best possible time and work hard to ensure everything is as you would like it.
We were concerned the pool might be cooler as it headed in to Autumn but needn't have worried as the pool heating kept everything exactly as we like it.
Decent broadband and huge TV with more worldwide channels than you'll have time to watch.
Just 10 minute drive to Javea port area and 20 minute walk to arenal.
We still love this place and are back again in June 2019 to prove it!
My three sisters, Mum, partners, my two nephews and I had a fantastic time in this stylish and modern property. The facilities are superb with lots to do, there is no need to have to go out at all. We did go out for dinner once or twice over our stay, however you wouldn't need too. Some of us didn’t even go to the beach as the pool area was too inviting.
The beach was beautiful and walking distance although we did have cars, not a necessity but we found the hire cars very helpful especially for transporting the crates of beer and boxes wine!
There are so many different seating areas you are never on top of each other.
The BBQ was a real hit for us with the large dinning table and pool table along side this is where we spent most of our evenings as a group, where there were fewer of us sitting on the veranda looking out to the sea was beautiful in the evenings. The amount of supermarkets near by means as long as you are happy prepping, cooking food and stacking the dishwasher there was no need to go out.
Danny was really helpful and contactable during our stay there was nothing more they could have done.
We are hoping to visit again next year and already have a friend hoping to book for her family as well.
Had the most amazing holiday and the villa was better than we imagined it would be, the two children (3 and 6) had a fantastic time and we were all very Sad to go home.
Javea is a small fishing village in an area declared by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest climates in the world.
Its micro climate gives 300 days a year sunshine and afternoon breezes keep temperatures comfortable.
No high rise buildings. Sandy beaches make for a relaxed destination.
Javea is a charming Spanish town divided up into 3 main areas of interest:
The OLD TOWN's narrow pedestrian streets and 900 year old church give a very Spanish atmosphere with its tapas bars and restaurants. It is a really charming, characterful area with a very provincial Spanish feel, and here you can practice your Spanish with the locals as you explore the nooks and crannies of the old style streets with their whitewashed walls.
The PORT, with it's Marina has many al fresco restaurants and bars selling local fish and tapas overlooking the harbour area with traditional fishing boats coming and going, along with more modern yachts moored nearby. There is a lovely promenade that you can stroll along watching the various boats go in and out of port, or you can opt to enjoy a coffee on the many outdoor terraces along this stretch. From here you can enjoy spectacular views across the harbour
The ARENAL, is a gently sloping sandy beach in its own bay. Children's play areas, pedalos, boat hire, beach volley ball and many beach side bars and restaurants serving cuisines from around the world to cater for every taste and budget provide everything needed for a wonderful family holiday. The beach side promenade comes alive in the evenings with colourfully lit local craft stalls surrounded by a great selection of cafes, shops and restaurants facing the sea.
There is the modern Yacht Club (Club Nautico) in the marina which has 300 berths and where most water sports are on offer including swimming, sailing, scuba diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, sailing, jet skiing, fishing and much more. For the more adventurous you will find many places offering Scuba Diving lessons/courses, as well as sailing courses which are also popular in the region.
Javea’s lovely sandy coastline stretches for 25kms of golden sand and little coves you can discover. The main beach is Playa de Arenal, here you can rent out sunbeds and parasols, or simply lounge in the golden sand. There is a nudist beach in Ambolo, and little coves in Barraca, Caleta and Falsia.
For those who prefer to keep to dry land there are 13 golf courses in the region. Javea itself has an excellent 9 hole course (with 2 putting greens per hole) as well as a 20 bay driving range. Some of the other courses can be found in Teulada, Calpe, Benissa and Moraira which are all within a half hour drive from the villa. For those looking for a Championship course then La Selle in Denia is only a 15-20 minute drive away. There are another two Championship courses in Benidorm, which is a 35 minute drive, and another excellent 18 hole course in Alicante, which is about an hour away.
Javea has is very own tennis club, L’Ancora Tennis Club which offers great facilities including 4 floodlit tennis courts, bar and restaurant and it also has its own swimming pool. There is also the Club de Tennis Javea which has both asphalt and clay courts available and is centrally located. A further 10 minute drive inland will take you to another tennis complex called Los Pinos.
• Horse Riding
The area has 2 horse riding schools, one in Sella and the other in La Hipica. They cater for all levels from beginners to the more experienced rider. This is a good fun day out for all the family.
There are so many wonderful walks around this region with so many different views to look at, that no matter how long you stay you will never tire of the scenery. There is Montgo, Javea’s elephant-like mountain for those that are into climbing, it rises 753 metres above sea level. The views from the top are quite breath-taking, and it has one of the best botanical reserves the Valencian has to offer. Or for a more leisurely stroll, walking around the old cobbled streets of Javea will not disappoint.
Other activities going on in the region are:
Crazy golf, cycling, netball, badminton, go-karting, trike hire, clay pigeon shooting, football and basketball.
